It also shows me all the yearly reviews submitted since I started with the company. Pros I like the fact that is a friendly user page and you can easily find the information that your looking for navigating without confusions. Cons At this time I don't dislike anything about this program. I like the user interface better than that of most of the different tools I use. Pros It has a friendly User Interface, intuitive menus and more than covers the different features needed for personnel. Cons It requires approval from too many different people for actions that should require fewer approvers. The setup and kickoff was fraught with issues and took several months to iron out after startup. Pros Workday has a fairly robust set of functionalities, like the previous tool we used, and is improving with each upgrade, but I think there are several nuances that could be beefed up. Cons The location of the buttons is awkward, and the navigation is not very intuitive. For example, when doing a performance evaluation, the navigation - though it is customized for my company - leaves a lot to be desired. We used it for checking our payslip, contact information, creating feedback, etc. Cons I understand that we need to use our SAFE (Secure Access for Everyone) credentials but this take too much time in logging in to Workday. Maybe it's easier if it's just your preferred email address instead. Pros All in one place use. This system really does let you bring everything into one place. It has lots of features and is very robust. Cons Very time consuming navigating. Pros There's a lot of features, there's a lot of things to check, to do, to fill out. Cons Theres way to much, its not simple, its a complex, and lengthy. It has way to many options for just a standard clock in clock out. Uploading sensitive information for HR through the platform is sooooo annoying. It feels fresh, young and intuitive. I like the aesthetic. Cons When trying to submit an expense report and I'll continue to get error messages without guidance on how to fix. Pros In the case of managing days off or approving another absence in the workplace, the application is super nice and user-friendly. Cons I do not have such feedback about the least thing that I like in that software but I can say that if they put more innovative features it would be better software. You can create time specific goals with tons of space for descriptions and comments. We would be lost without Workday. Pros Workday is incredibly easy to use - we use it frequently on my work team where we can set yearly goals to meet our annual compensation planning targets. You can set it up for your management team to receive notifications when goals are edited and completed, which makes discussions and comments immediate for feedback. Cons It's interface is a little clunky at times and when you edit goals you have to be careful to make sure the right one is selected, because sometimes it will change to another one if you change screens. It just takes time to implement and you need to train your teams with the software If not, issues will arise. Pros A great feature of this tool is the ability to document and share goals through out the company. Top leadership is able to cascade goals down the organization to different levels of management. This transparency allows company goals to reach all aspects of the organization. It also allows our teams and employees to create goals and track them. This tracking allows us to see the growth and success of our teams and employees. A great tool for retention and growth. Cons I think the program needs some work in regard to usability. The platform can come off as clunky and not as easy as users would want. The forms often make is difficult to understand how to complete them. For example, when cascading it is easy to forget to grab all of the goals. this will create issues later in the exercise and cause confusion and concern. These little bugs can waste time and frustrate employees. Some days the program was tedious and I would spend hours trying to navigate through just to be able to complete the hiring process. Pros The software is awesome as far as the HR aspect goes. I love that you can have all your employees and potential employees information in one secure location. You have the ease of accessing all necessary documentation for each employee. Cons I was not impressed with the lack of assistance when using Workday and hitting walls. We received no training and had to teach ourselves blindly how to maneuver through the program and familiarize ourselves with it. Review Source JC James C. Keeps control of a large number of employees and there training/job profiles with ease. Would recommend. Pros Easy to use and roll out. We use Workday to organise training compliance across the business. Easy to keep track of and has lots of other useful features such as career plans/compensation etc as part of employee management. Pros I like that workday makes it easy to find payroll and previous W2 documents. Cons It is very difficult for updates in the system to take effect. It is nearly impossible to change your name and have it go through with other systems. Therefore, integration is not it's strength.
