### "Workday - Great for performance reviews and goal setting!"

Immediacy for feedback among employees and employers. Great for goal setting and meeting compensation planning. You can create time specific goals with tons of space for descriptions and comments. We would be lost without Workday.

Pros

Workday is incredibly easy to use - we use it frequently on my work team where we can set yearly goals to meet our annual compensation planning targets. You can set it up for your management team to receive notifications when goals are edited and completed, which makes discussions and comments immediate for feedback.

Cons

It's interface is a little clunky at times and when you edit goals you have to be careful to make sure the right one is selected, because sometimes it will change to another one if you change screens.

Overall, it is a great product. It just takes time to implement and you need to train your teams with the software If not, issues will arise.

Pros

A great feature of this tool is the ability to document and share goals through out the company. Top leadership is able to cascade goals down the organization to different levels of management. This transparency allows company goals to reach all aspects of the organization. It also allows our teams and employees to create goals and track them. This tracking allows us to see the growth and success of our teams and employees. A great tool for retention and growth.

Cons

I think the program needs some work in regard to usability. The platform can come off as clunky and not as easy as users would want. The forms often make is difficult to understand how to complete them. For example, when cascading it is easy to forget to grab all of the goals. this will create issues later in the exercise and cause confusion and concern. These little bugs can waste time and frustrate employees.

Overall, the software is great for larger corporations that can afford to pay for the training and implementation of the program. Some days the program was tedious and I would spend hours trying to navigate through just to be able to complete the hiring process.

Pros

The software is awesome as far as the HR aspect goes. I love that you can have all your employees and potential employees information in one secure location. You have the ease of accessing all necessary documentation for each employee.

Cons

I was not impressed with the lack of assistance when using Workday and hitting walls. We received no training and had to teach ourselves blindly how to maneuver through the program and familiarize ourselves with it.

Excellent. Keeps control of a large number of employees and there training/job profiles with ease. Would recommend.

Pros

Easy to use and roll out. We use Workday to organise training compliance across the business. Easy to keep track of and has lots of other useful features such as career plans/compensation etc as part of employee management.

Cons

There can feel like an overwhelming amount of options within Workday, however, once you're familiar with the operations side it is all very useful.

It is alright in HR Management and Payroll.

Pros

I like that workday makes it easy to find payroll and previous W2 documents.

Cons

It is very difficult for updates in the system to take effect. It is nearly impossible to change your name and have it go through with other systems. Therefore, integration is not it's strength.

The website allows me to track my regular hours ,overtime , payslips and time off accurately.

Pros

I like that it is easy to find payroll and time off information. I am able to track my pay slips, hours worked, overtime information and deductions easily.

Cons

The sign in process can be lengthy and at times needs multiple attempts to navigate through the sign in screen.

It's a little confusing at first, but once you get it down you see the value in it.

Pros

The software does address everything necessary for performance reviews and keeping tabs on employees and making goals for them so it's well documented. It lays things out in order as to not miss anything. There are good step by step instructions if you don't understand something.

Cons

When you finish putting in data, you click done and think it's done, but then it ask again if you want to submit. I noticed with myself and other managers is you think you've completed something and you leave the screen and you later learn it didn't submit because it's asking you to submit after you click done. It's a little redundant.

Pros

I used Workday at a company who utilized their portals to track employees. I was easy for me to quicky access my team's employment records and history.

Cons

We had workday admin employed by our company. Some features that I would like to see for employee reporting took a while for them to implement.

There couldn't be any easier to use software for the simple task of keeping track of honest work hours in the workplace. It's one more thing to help take stress off your mind and be able to focus on your actual work you came in for.

Pros

As an employee to clock in and out, you really are just looking for ease of access. That is what Workday provided for us. Simple access and capabilities on our phone or desktop and easy to check and approve time cards to keep track of work hours. Easy to see reminders when you forgot to clock in or out and easy to fix when the mistake is made.

Cons

In my time using it, nothing has ever gone wrong or confused me to the point where it wasn't an easy fix. For my job and the purpose we needed from Workday, there was never a con to using it.

Good and powerful. just don't expect something like salesforce in terms of sheer horsepower. Does most of the things that normal users would and some that power users might. Skips the top of the line statistical and graphical power-utils.

Pros

Quite up keeping with times. Web based interface works like a charm. Interface is intuitive and responsive. Design is fancy and modern and has an elegant look to it.

Cons

Lack of offline mode for editing. Difficulty in recovering written text in case of accidental browser surfing from keyboard. Auto Save is not there and draft mode is quite difficult to engage at places. Also, lacks advanced graph and statistical tools to demonstrate team performance as curves and progression in performance improvement versus expectation.

Pros

It is really an innovative tool to get your hands on. It got some really supporting management and immensely caring founders. Payroll, hiring, reconcilation etc all are the tasks that you can manage on the go. It is just like a complete package for the HR department.

Cons

It often raises complications for employee to provide a proper feedback to their employers. It is also not user-friendly which means you have to learn it hard and fast in order to get a proper grip on it.

I love workday compared to other employee portals i have used in the past.

Pros

I like how organized everything is and the ease of use. When you need to find something in particular, it is so easy to find and all the employees have easy access to all their information.

Cons

Sometimes information imputes into the system can take a little long to sync and to view documents you also have to wait a little long sometimes while the request is being made and the documents appear in your inbox.

Pros

I really appreciate the employee directory to see who reports to whom, as well as having all our benefits centralized in one place.

Cons

I wish the interface could be updated to something a bit more modern and user-friendly-- sometimes the platforms feels a bit dated and non-user friendly, and it's not always easy to navigate to different parts of the tool. Also, the platform doesn't automatically clear notifications after you complete them, which is strange

We needed an HCM that would support our growing organization.

Pros

I like that it is cloud based, so there is no equipment to manage for our internal team. I like that it is configurable to allow some minor changes to match our business processes, but not so different that we have to spend all our time testing new releases. I like their release schedule to get plenty of time to review the new features and that you have to turn them on.

Cons

You have to be a Workday client to get training in Workday. Support is limited. You generally have to go through a 3rd party group.

Pros

For me, the software summarizes your job profile easily by uploading your resume. It allows the HR team to be able to review pending applications and also, it allows candidates an updated status of their job application.

Cons

For me, the software is kinda plain in the eye and what I would suggest to provide notifications on the candidates profiles whether an update has been made on their application.

Overall I really enjoy using Workday maybe one of the best systems I've used for payroll.

Pros

Workday is a great experience with a super friendly and easy to use UI. It's pretty straightforward to use and I've never had any issues with using it.

Cons

One feature in particular that I didn't like was with cancelling time off requests. You basically have to submit a new request to counteract the request. If you just need to edit something it's a very mundane task to complete.
