Cons

Using this software , I have enjoyed the ability to access data securely and easily. accessing data on Work HCM is very easy and secured which makes it less stressful In use

Cons

I haven't come through any deficiency while using Work HCM

We use Workday to track just about everything for employees from past work history, to performance, career paths, even absences. It's an easy to use one stop shop that allows employees to make sure their information is known and allows HR to access that information to help make decisions and communicate on a personal and broad level.

Pros

I love that it has all the features and apps it does laid out in a simple desktop format. You can have announcements, show action items and add many personalizations to your profile, then use all of those things to track your career long term.

Cons

Some of the applications can be a little clunky. Even after completing all sections, if you miss the submit button in the lower left hand corner, your progress will not be completed. The tool doesn't do a great initial job of making sure that people know to submit to complete is necessary.

Workday provides our team with an invaluable tool for planning and coordinating our HR and finance departments. This coordination is not limited to budget forecasts or to further analytical use cases such as invoicing and procurement.

Pros

Workday's feature set specification is deep and thorough . The "cloud connect" option affords third party payroll communication as well as data transaction in an effective format. Workday reconciles finance records and interactions. This is an automated feature which simultaneously benefits our HR and IT departments through reducing the amount of work hours consumed during assessment and certification processes.

Cons

We did notice certain use case scenarios not captured in the software relative to our case management expectation. We suspect this is a application maturity issue and this will be resolved by Workday''s team in short order. We would like a more navigable user interface via their associated mobile app version.

Pros

Workday make it easy for employees to self-service many hr related tasks. Entering PTO requests and getting managers to approve takes only a few steps. It's also easy for team members to change bank or tax withholding info in the payroll portion.

Cons

The job posting interface has room for improvement. The categories are not intuitive and can be accidentally duplicated.

All in all, it is one of the better programs that I have seen jn my work experience.

Pros

I like how a user can easily access their payroll, benefits, and employee information with ease. The program is very versatile, and easy to navigate one you get used to it. The interface is very pleasant look and easy to read compared to ADP

Cons

The fact that it is very versatile can lead to the used getting lost very easily. One click to see a vacation schedule can be different from actually submitting a request.

Overall quality of this software is awesome. The downside is the scheduled maintenance can somewhat go for an hour or even a whole day.

Pros

I have been in two companies and have been using this software for 6 years now. It is very easy to use and since it's web based, I can access it even out of the office. Scheduling discrepancies can be easily detected and fixed in a timely manner. Requests can be easily made with just once click of a button. Support is also good. Errors and bugs can be easily fixed in no time.

Cons

Scheduled maintenance can somehow be a nuisances especially when you have to change something on your schedule.

We are solving every business need with Workday because it does it all. Imagine not needing to log into five different accounts to start work in the morning. With Workday, we now just log into one and I can take a leave, complete my timesheet, enter my performance review, process new applicants and so much more. I love the versatility of Workday and I'm excited to continue using it and learning more.

Pros

I love having everything from timesheets, work history, hiring, testing, performance, etc all in one place. I'm not used to it and I'm still adapting after using Oracle, ADP, SalesForce, etc. Workday is so much easier to use than Taleo, so easy that I feel I'm doing something wrong or missing a set of steps. That's not a bad thing.

Cons

I'm used to different reports and it has been a pain/learning curve to get reports I'm used to in order to maintain status quo for the reports I'm responsible for. In time, this will go away, but it has been tedious.

I don’t like that once a person is logged , it might log the person out.

Workday is a great HR tool that helps business organize and provide important information to their employees and employees to have access to everything related to their earnings, times, and financial documents

Pros

I love that the app is super easy to use on the phone and i have the same functionality as the website. I can access my pay stubs, download them, access my W2s, vacation, sick time - basically anything i ever need to know about employment data

Cons

To be honest, i can't even think of anything. I really like workday and i most definitely prefer it to ADP

the app makes it easy to use on the go. taking time off/absent days/sick days etc is easy to scroll and drop down menus make it simple.

Cons

can be slow at times in the app, but be sure to update the version as this will help with any bugs.

This web-based system is great - we have found it to be easy to use, easy to deploy, and users rarely complain about how it works. The ability to link payroll, HR, benefits, and employee time off is really nice and allows better reporting.

Pros

This is a great system to replace your benefit and payroll employee reporting solutions. The menus are intuitive and all of the users are able to get the information they need, input their time off requests, and manage the annual performance goals with ease.

Cons

The transition to Workday was fairly simple, but it caused much confusion with the users as we had overlapping systems for a short period of time. Sometimes the user interface can be confusing, but that might be how it was implemented by the HR team.

Pros

Great integration features. Great software for applicant tracking, storing employee information and pulling my day to day reports for payroll and employee job details.

Cons

The main user interface can be a bit confusing. It’s easy for employees to navigate but when it comes to administrators it definitely takes some getting used to.

Overall Workday is a nearly seamless package that expediates onboarding and showed in significant detail, all the benefits that were offered to me, which ones I could enroll in, the related expenses for each one, and held my hand through the complete process to ensure that all the I's were crossed and all the T's were dotted!

Pros

I enjoyed the process of using Workday to get onboarded when I started my position. Everything from payroll, to emergency contacts, to health insurance, to life insurance, disability, and work history goes into this thing. Probably more. It made is super simple to read through all the required legal documentation, fill out all necessary payroll documentation, tax documentation, my dependents, everything. All the while showing a progress bar monitoring my progress. I'm sure it makes it super simple for the HR department as well.

Cons

It was a little daunting to spend hours working with it to input all the necessary data. At times I was wishing it was being handled manually. There were a few glitches along the way that prevented me from going through the full process the first time, but in the end it all worked out.

Pros

\- One of the most common HR platforms so onboarded staff from other companies will likely recognize it. - Does what it needs to in terms of time, payroll, performance goal management, and employee data.

Cons

\- Interface is slow and crashes constantly. - The text fields for entering certain user data (like performance goals) are small (cannot be resized) and hard to edit once submitted. - Required features or sections are embedded multiple layers down. Often have to hunt for the correct link/resource.
