Recruiter Human Resources Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Not designed well as an ATS" October 16, 2019 3.0 This system seems to be designed more as an HRIS with ATS functionality, but it has missed the mark. Coming previously from Taleo, this system has only caused headaches and cost my team valuable time. Pros It has a great overall look and candidate information is all shown in one dashboard with tabs. Cons The different pages are hard to navigate between. There are hundreds of reporting options but most seem to be useless from a recruiting standpoint. Very intuitive UI and easy to use, especially compared to almost any other management software. Cons Not unique to Workday, but it is very complex to implement and integrate. Peakon - very good experience. Employee reviews - very good experience. Merit & bonus - very good experience. Org charts are helpful. Employee data, day to day & PTO management - all very good. The solutions people really knew their space and were able to share approaches from other customers that solved our issues. The user community is robust and active. Cons It’s missing case management and a solution to handle employee files. Recruitment was not as mature as I would have liked. The LMS needs to mature. It is easy to navigate to find what you need whether it be your time off or your health benefits. The notifications alert you when you are required to complete something making it easy to remember. Cons Downloading records in workday is not very intuitive. I have always had a difficult time when trying to download a record, for example a copy of my performance development plan. Cons I did not like how often it crashed though. I worked at that job for a couple of months and it crashed about three times in the span of four months. Pros The user experience is really easy for menus specifically. Form filling, notifications, and org charts are some of my favorite features. Pros 360-degree employee performance review is the best feature for employees as well as managers. It gives ease to employees to review their performance in a systematic way and receive feedback from their management. Cons Adding daily attendance in the software. It should be integrated with the fingerprint machine to recognize automatically. It streamlined things, categorized for easy finding, file management was great, and candidate recruitment process was easier than ever. Cons It takes a great deal of thought to ensure accurate processes and flow - junk in equals junk out. So make sure you have a lot of planning time ahead of your go-live date. Pros The tiles make looking for functions easier. This program brings time management and employee development all in one location. Cons The time management doesn’t always pick up correctly.
