July 15, 2022 4.0 Overall did improve our HR interactions and made them simpler, however this was after quite some time familiarizing ourselves with the product. If I had influence over which product we used I would make a different selection. Pros I like the self service portal for employees, it really makes things simpler and easier especially with direct deposit/payroll. I like that this software keeps us all up to date and informed with office policies, it's easy to keep track of time off or vacation days. I enjoyed the crisp and modern design and the setup was great as well, it's reminiscent of other products that many people are acquainted with. Cons Despite the appealing modern design I found it daunting from a user perspective. I was completely lost and had no clue how to navigate this product, even as someone who has administrated similar products. Review Source Mayank S. I have been using this for almost 6 months now. Pros Adding a candidate is such an easy task, just enter the essential details and it will take care of the rest. Handling job requirements has never been this easy. Pulling reports is a great feature. This software helps to manage the complete recruitment life cycle, i.e. creating a prospect to on-boarding the candidate. Cons There are a few bugs in this program. The bugs are not as critical that they can affect your process. But this is the only short coming I found in the program. One of the bugs is: Sometimes the pdf attachment is not delivered. They listen to their communities well and make regular product changes to help enhance users easily navigate. I'm a front end user and its a good tool. It has come a LONG way in just two years. Cons Ability to customize isn't there, perhaps in future product updates. They are still figuring themselves out. Pros During the merit increase period, it ensures that a pay change goes into effect before an employee sees it. Just be prepared for some headache and learning curve in the beginning phases. Pros The templates for task completion can be very useful. Once I had the dashboard fully configured, it was much easier to navigate and had a nice look and feel to the UI. It seems organized and works best when you have an organization with a dedicated HRIS person or team. It is fully end-to-end and has lots of features. Cons It can feel a bit overwhelming at times, especially in the beginning. It feels like there are many unnecessary "clicks," and it seems like it takes you in circles. It's easy to access timekeeping, PTO, and directories. Cons It is somewhat hard to navigate through changing personal info. There are multiple different areas you have to go on your profile depending on what you need to update which can be confusing for users. Workday has been easy to set up a feed to automatically create new hires as the accept positions. This allows the new hire to have the same username and password going from the day they accept the position to after they leave. Pros Nice interface Easy to understand Good options for setting up usernames and passwords within Workday It's able to email new employees with their credentials. It helps check their progress and set up a follow up when needed. I think soon, we will fully utilize it. Pros Workday has been introduced to us in 2021 by our company but we did not get to use it until recently, April 2023. I think they are working on some mapping, hence the delay. We started using the Workday for our Employee Performance Management and I can say first-hand that it is easy to use. At first, during our training, we thought it's a bit complicated but doing in actually is not. Can easily input goals and track progress. Cons So far, none because we are just starting to use it.
