It worked well, its easy to navigate, easy to read and not at all hard to set up. I enjoyed being able to have it on my phone as I worked so I was able to keep track of my hours better and my pay. Cons Though it is so very easy to use it would crash on us a couple of times when I worked at one of my college jobs. I only worked there for about two months in between semesters but it crashed twice at most while I worked there. I think it is really easy to use and very helpful in our professional environment. Pros I love the clean design and layout of this software; It makes it very user friendly. In addition, it is a great tool to update professional achievements on our profile, so it could be noticeable within the company. Cons So far, by the time I have been using Workday, I didn't notice any bad characteristic. I am sure it has room for improvement, but i can't be specif about it right now. Review Source KR Kim R. June 29, 2018 4.0 This software made it easy to learn payroll to begin with. Now I use it for equity. Pros I really like how it can house HR and Payroll data, and can also contain some equity details. Having all three functions in one product has really helped to ease payroll processing as well as avoid data confusion you would likely get from using multiple systems to house the different functional data. Also, I enjoy the level of detail and ability to 'open the hood' to adjust the system to fit our payroll needs. Processing payroll itself is very easy as well. I also enjoy how the demographic data (address, work location) is displayed and the effective date displayed. Cons 1\. Workday does not seem to do well with handling int'l mobile employees that need to be paid a supplemental payment in the US though they live outside the US. The software is incredibly simple to use for any user, and it requires very little training. It's simple to use, and real-time data appears to be available. Both I and the team I support benefit greatly from the email reminders. It's a fantastic tool that allows us to connect and progress! Cons The cost of software training is high. Also, the system is occasionally slower than you'd want, and it's more difficult to enter fresh data into it. It has been incredibly helpful to bundle pay stubs, annual HR performance reviews, payroll, etc. into one software suite. Cons A little tricky when used outside the corporate intranet. Pros Choosing your benefits from work is a very daunting task. You're so worried about doing something wrong that you might end up doing something stupid. With Workday, all of my options were clearly laid out and made the decision very easy to make. Cons I honestly don't have anything bad to say here. From the perspective of someone opting into benefits, it felt like all my information was easily accessible with Workday. It's nice that you can access all of this information without contacting human resources. Pros My company uses Workday for many things, including six-month and yearly reviews, time-off balances and benefits elections. You can easily see all of your benefits in one place (health care, 401K, disability, etc.) and make changes to dependents and beneficiaries. You can also see how much your benefits are costing you and make changes to them in the event of a life change. Cons It would be nice if Workday pulled in your workplace retirement account so that you could see your savings alongside your elections and other benefits information. Review Source AA Amanda A. I log in to workday and go to my inbox and see what I need to review (Such as a manager evaluation). The navigation through the site is a breeze and you can do anything from reviewing compensation to reviewing the team time off. Cons I really don't have any con with the software. I never had to contact customer service so I really cannot evaluate part of the software. Being able to submit my PTO time from my phone is super helpful, as well as tracking my paychecks so I know what money is coming in. Pros I like that I can contact anyone in the company from their Workday profile. This allows me to quickly contact the right people as soon as I need to contact them. I love being able to track my pay periods as well. Cons I don't like that the mobile version doesn't show the descriptions of open positions in my company. This may be a company setting from my employer, but I would be aware that the mobile app isn't as robust as the online version. Review Source NW Naiman W.
