Overall, very appreciative of the time saved by being able to self-manage my profiles and information.

Pros

Tons and tons of features and uses. Anything you need from HR can usually be found here. Will save a lot of time in the long run for both HR and employees.

Cons

The ease of use can be the main inhibitor. Depending on how your Workday is set up, you may run into trouble in regards to getting the information you're looking for.

Pros

Applicant tracking system was easy to use when hiring employees. Overall, most of the system is easy to use and get the information I am looking for.

Cons

Before I had the manager profile, I could not see my own annual compensation amount as an employee. Now I can see it in the manager profile, but it would be helpful for employees who want to see their annual salary, especially when raises go through.

Overall, have had a great experience with Workday Benefits. I like being able to use it on my phone while on the go and not having to use my laptop or desktop to access the information. Sign-on is quick and easy and everything can be accessed from the mobile version, which is great and not something all app have!

Pros

The biggest advantage of using Workday Benefits is how easy the website is to navigate. There is a mobile app that is very user friendly and then there is the desktop version as well. Both are very user-friendly, pleasant aesthetics and very straight-forward to use.

Cons

To me, this software does not have any cons.

mobile app often crashed. would have to use desk top view if trainings were loaded. complaints about password resets often

My last 2 workplaces have used Workday to arrange HR-related info and dashboards for employees. I've had a pretty easy time in using Workday, and while I don't use it hugely often (more like on a monthly basis), it's always a very quick "in and out" type of feel I get from it, which is very good. Easy to use.

Pros

I appreciated that Workday is fairly standard across the board. I've worked with it across multiple workplaces in totally different settings, and it's this standardization that really ensures that you're getting great quality every time. In other words, there are no bad surprises here!

Cons

The software could stand to be a little more visually attractive and user friendly, but on the whole, I thought it was above average compared to most software in those respects.

Easiest HCM platform to use. Allows your employees to see their information and edit it when needed.

Pros

The software is very easy to use, it keeps everything from Pay, PTO, vacation, and benefits in one. The icons are easy and anyone can figure out how to use it.

Cons

Occasionally information in Workday would not be updated or would be delayed. The platform does not engage its users.

Workday is a web based software very easy to use and organize multiple things at once. My company uses it to track employees learning, paycheck, benefits and pto. The fact that it offers and all in one software experience is a great thing. Not having to switch to multiple platforms is a big plus for sure.

Cons

I don’t have any cons so far after using this software for more than a couple of years.

Workday has been an excellent tool for my company when it comes to tracking benefits, compensation, time off, etc. Compared to other similar products, it has a nice design and has been relatively easy to use.

Pros

My company uses Workday to access our benefits and employment information. It has a simple and good looking user interface, and is easy to use.

Cons

There are times when I navigate away from a page and then have a hard time returning to that page. It would be helpful to have a way to return to the page you were last on without having to locate it again. Other than that, my coworkers and I have been really happy with the tool.

Everything is in an easy-to-use portal that can be customized for the organization. Great for remote workforce, as you can upload and update documents easily in a secure environment. Allows for paperless HR and payroll processing.

Cons

There aren't many cons. I wasn't present for the installation, so I am not sure how that goes or what the costs were.

What a I love most about this product is their minimalist design. It looks clean and the user experience is so smooth. It is super fast. The mobile experience is also superb. Responsive web design makes it easy to view anywhere.

Cons

I can't say I have any. I think it is a little expensive for small and medium companies. Perhaps they could think about it.

Overall I'm happy with this as a tool to track and submit my hours and to have access to my pay info / tax info.

Pros

I use this to submit hours to a company where I consult and bill hourly as a "part-time employee." It's easy to track/submit my hours. I like that I can easily reference all my payslips and tax info.

Cons

Plugging in hours can be a bit of a pain when they are in lots of little chunks vs. a full day. I think they could probably improve on this to make it easier to plug in (i.e. vs. entering start and end times, maybe you could see a full day and highlight the hours you want to submit for?).

I like that I can log on anytime/anywhere to see how many days off I have. I don't have to rely on a phone call to HR. Having this information easily accessible helps me plan my days away from the office.

Pros

Workday Benefits is straightforward. Our office uses many workday products so benefits is just part of an entire package. It is easy for someone not super familiar with the HR side to figure out current and future benefits.

Cons

If you are not familiar with Workday, the little "appletts" take some getting used to.

Easy to use and very user friendly. It helps to request time off and manage benefits in a much smoother fashion.

Pros

It is very user friendly. I can access workday from my laptop or phone. I can easily use the software to request time-off, view paychecks, communicate with my manager, and view personal information

Cons

The phone application doesn't have all of the features that the web application has. I am unable to view internal careers open within my company on my phone but I am able to do it through the web application.

I have to constantly make new accounts every time I run into Workday but I can see it as a good substitute for companies who can't or don't know how to build out a careers portal.

Pros

Intuitive and easy to use. The platform is clearly directed to help you finish the next steps in the process. It can be a good substitute for companies that lack a career portal.

Cons

Lacking from the user end. You have to create a new account every time when applying to other job applications. It would be very convenient if Workday saved your info and imported it every time with just a login.

It's been great using Workday! I'm glad we have a resource like this available for employees. It enables them to find information themselves without having to constantly ask others. It definitely streamlines things for us.

Pros

Workday provides us with one spot where we can see all our employee resources such as L&D, time off, benefits, compensations, and more. They also released this new feature that enables employees to upload vaccine cards, which we love!

Cons

This product is currently meeting all of our needs.
