CSA Retail Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Good Program for Lowes" July 24, 2019 5.0 I really like this program and think it is easy to use and has good info to share about pay for lowes employees. Pros Lowes recently changed the program to Workday from oracle. I will miss the old program however Workday is very nice compared to the old one. You have the ability to check so many things on here such as increase in pay taxes and much more which is very nice. Cons The one thing that I don't really like is the fact that I can't check the paycheck in a pdf viewer which is something that I like doing because I can back it up on my computer to save for later dates. The main page is super easy to navigate for all users and saves a lot of time onboarding new employees. Cons There is sometimes a time lag when trying to access tax information. April 19, 2018 5.0 I loved working with this software, it made life in Recruiting so much easier! Pros It is clean and user friendly, the interface is not busy with too many things. It has everything you need in one place! Cons There are some things they haven't rolled out yet but I know they will have it on the roadmap soon. If they do have something but you haven't turned it on, they are very helpful in rolling things out. With Workday, timesheets are very organized, errors are little to none. Filtering of information is also possible and works so well. Our office has been using this for a while and found little to no problem with the software. Cons Most times, the software does not run smoothly even with a great internet connection. Often crashes. It is easy to use and and the navigation is simple and straight forward. All around I say because it is the only app you will need for various HR tasks, like leaves, merits, history, personal information and pay slips. I also appreciate the feature where the employee will be able to see how he/ she is rooted in the organization through the org.chart. Cons I dont like about the app is that sometimes it does not work outside the office network but sometimes it does. Verification also takes a little of your time. Probably if some information has a lot of tabs or information it would be nice if the tabs would be laid out beautifilly. Review Source TW Tamia W. Pros NOTHING. Absolutely not a single thing is good about this software Cons My major interaction with this piece of excrement is with expensing my business trips. Every entry takes 3 minutes to perform because every single data field that you enter makes the software search its list for a match. Enter "taxi" and it will load for 15 seconds while it searches for "taxi/limo. " This may not seem like much but every expense requires at least 6 fields!!! And I usually have 30+ expenses for each week-long business trip. I spent 2 hrs putting in an expense report for $1500 redemption. Given that I make more than $1k per hour consulting, it is costing my company more for me to fill out this idiocy than if they were to just take my word for it and write me a blank check for the $1500. I like it because of how easy it is to use and make it so all members of the company feel included and listened to. Pros Lots of options to utilize with a workforce. Not just for tracking pay but lets you track other information including goals, check ins with employees, and employee information. Cons Do not really have any cons. Sometimes it has issues, but it works! Pros This product is relatively easy to use and was recently introduced to my company. It does all the regular things that an HR app would be expected to do, nothing ground shattering though. Cons Sometimes it glitches out. When I use it to clock in and clock out, it is supposed to autofill in the "reason" (aka clock in or clock out) but if it doesn't, then it won't let me fill it in myself and therefore will not let me complete the punch. That's truly my only substantive complaint about it. It provides a great combination of being robust and capable of handling the largest of organizations while also providing for a relatively easy and helpful user experience. Cons Workday is not super flexible in terms of how data is stored and how its users interact with it. You pretty much have to just get on board with how they run the HCM. Review Source JM Jenna M. Pros Compared to other software for human resources, Workday has to be the best. It's so easy to navigate and the visuals (graphs, charts, etc) are wonderful. Cons At the beginning, the implementation and learning of the system can be a bit overwhelming. The software has a lot of features and tools that for the average end-user will require some time to learn and potentially even some training. There's definitely a learning curve. Not only does Workday look great, but it is also a great tool for presenting information to our staff. Pros I like a lot of things about this tool but the user-friendly design tops the list. Not every user is savvy with computers, but we have no complaints and everyone is able to navigate the tool and find what they need. A huge headache relief.
