This is a good HCM software, relatively good such a medium size to large scale of companies. It's very convenient to be able to view, save as PDF or email paycheck slips to myself from within the software and their app is just as modern and user friendly. Even the PDF's download very quickly on my mobile! Pros Easy to understand and navigate, paycheck slips are easily divided out and labeled clearly and efficiently, love that I can email them to myself and save as PDFs and that I can log in and make changes anytime and they are saved immediately Cons At first the paycheck slips were very difficult to read. There is a lot of information on them and the way they are divided out was a bit overwhelming to understand. It replaced a manual paper based system so it was MUCH better than that. I found it user friendly and enjoyed having the app. Pros I used Workday as an employee in a previous role for about 1-2 years. I found it user friendly and convenient for tracking leave, applying for leave and updating information. Have an app was really handy to use from home. This software did not help solve problems. Pros I used to use this software with my old job and I cannot tell you anything I liked about this software. I am not sure to blame my old company on how they rolled the software out or the software itself, but I do not recommend this product. Cons Workday is far from user friendly. I understand the idea of Workday, however myself and many others expressed the frustration with the app and the overall quality of this software. Workday is not easy to use, it is confusing from the main menu, and the sense of direction is hard to follow. Pros What I like the most about Workday Recruiting is how nicely it's sometimes integrated into the careers page of most hospitals! I have used it before to look for jobs within my organization that I could internally transfer to and I thought it was very easy and convenient to do so through Workday Recruiting! Cons What I liked the least about Workday Recruiting is that that there is often a lot of times when positions aren't updated by HR and so many times I end up applying to jobs that may have already been filled or is no longer being filled. Pros Very good interface, very intuitive and very error forgiving. It allows you to put time in by clocking in or by adding the time. There is also important information about your employment. Like if you are a part time employee you cannot work more than 20 hours a week an things like that. Very customisable. Cons The mobile application has a difficult login and its hard to navigate. It is not as intuitive as the web interface and it is hard to submit time or correct time errors. You are able to see employees, run reports, change compensation, etc. Every employee also has access to see their performance reviews, change direct deposit, contact information, etc. Cons Finding reports can be hard at times if you don't put in specifically what you want. Would be nice if it has a "smart" search.
