Cons

Pros

The interface is very easy to navigate. You can easily submit hours, see what jobs your company has posted, and I like the reminders and prompts if you need to do any updates to your hours or vacations. I appreciate links to other worksites it's a great platform.

Cons

It can be hard to enter hours via mobile and the calendar can be very sensitive when selecting dates for vacation hours.

The system is ok, this is the first year. It is nice we can still see some old information if we need to. I am sure there will be improvements made.

Pros

I like that this is a new software for us. I like that is houses all of our information in one place. There is so much that goes into performance management anymore.

Cons

Sometimes it is hard to figure out what is needed for a step to be completed. I also sometimes am confused if I finished a step correctly, is it sitting with my manager, etc.. Seems like a performance management system is very time consuming and cumbersome.

You get to keep all your information in one spot and apply to different jobs without having to keep inverting the same thing on each application. You get to do all onboarding on it as well without the hassle of starting over.

Cons

I love it all, no complaints on my end here.

I mainly use this system to request time off, and submit my timecards each week, and that function has never given me an issue.

Pros

I've used this program for a few years now and while it has never given me a problem, I still find that I'm not entirely familiar with how to navigate it sometimes.

Cons

the message and alerts system could use improvement. The inbox is one place that I personally find to be confusing.

Managing personal development, onboarding, kudos, payslips, holiday and sickness requests and suchlike. It's good for most things, but I find the issue with accessing payslips really frustrating!

Pros

The inbox feature is great in alerting me when I have actions to undertake, I like being able to add and receive Kudos through it and it's easy to request holiday and to see how much holiday I have remaining

Cons

The thing which annoys me is that I don't seem to be able to access my payslips easily through this at all. It requires a separate login through my e-pay, which I have only been able to manage through my phone. It really shouldn't require a separate login (different to my Workday one) to view my payslips - surely this could be integrated. I'd also like to be able to delete items entered into my personal development section - this doesn't seem to be possible? Overall the platform is a bit cumbersome and tricky to use.

Pros

This software is easier to use that the software my company previously used to manage benefits. I like how easily you can go between screens and compare different costs

It's probably just the nature of benefit elections, but this soft felt complicated

Pros

I love that I can look up my vacation bank at any future date before requesting time off, and it also takes into account any existing approved vacation requests in the interim. It makes it quite easy to securely plan your vacations. Time entry is easier than our previous platform, as well

Cons

When copying time blocks from previous time periods, the interface is a bit clunky, and it doesn't copy fields and notes by default when doing so. If you accidentally import time from a previous week without checking that box, it's impossible to delete those bad time blocks without going into each one and selecting a bunch of required fields. It's a real pain the butt when you click wrong.

As a prospective employee to a huge corporation I found this software personalized and facilitated to meet expectations for communicating specific and timely information between employer and myself.

Pros

I applied for a position at a box retailer and this was the software used for communications including orientation and interview scheduling, collecting basic employee info, work hour scheduling etc. it was very easy to navigate the layout and prompts. Communication was fast, almost instant. Login info wasn’t needed if you followed the link through your connected email address. Very convenient.

Cons

I did not have any negative experiences or criticisms of this interface. Everything worked easily and I found it to be helpful.

I have had an overall positive experience with Payroll and have had very few issues with their software - highly recommend!

Pros

The software makes it incredibly easy to manage and track all your paystubs, we even used Workday for expense reports. The UI is very intuitive and the mobile app makes it incredibly simple to have access to your information on the go.

Cons

There was one week where our pay stubs were not showing up on the software which caused some panic; however, their customer support team was amazing and helped us fix the problem within the day.

I like working with it. The interface is clean and uncluttered, I can quickly enter time, request a day off and look at my pay stubs. Transitioning from Paycom was really pain free except we did not get charged for health benefits the first pay period and got ALL of it charged the subsequent pay period.

Pros

I like the simplicity with which employees can track their time worked, ask for time off, and see their pay stubs.

Cons

I wish it would let you stay logged in. I have to log in many times a day

My experience as an employee with this software is very positive! I would recommend other businesses to use it as well as management teams. It encourages collaborative brainstorming and fosters a foundation for productivity and goal setting. It helps on both ways.

Pros

This software is really great for feedback from my management and mentors. They can input all of their conversations with me about goals and performance expectations. It’s clean, easy to use, and also easy to request feedback or give feedback.

Cons

I have no real issue with the software other than a recommendation for the comments section to be larger for viewing. When I read comments from my manager the box is too thin and rectangular so it only shows about four words until dropping down to the next sentence.

This is a must-have tool in your business tool belt. The transparency, and breadth of the software is incredible. I don't know what I'd do without this, and though it took a little time for me to implement, I couldn't be happier that I did it.

Pros

I believe Workday is the industry standard for compensation software. It's flexible, easy to understand, and allows me to have transparent access to what I need. I can also see performance throughout the year, direct my attention to where it is needed, and make sure that I am on track with expenses. Since using the Workday Compensation ecosystem, there have been no more surprises on my end, and serious time has been saved.

Cons

Like any software, there is a bit of a learning curve, with this platform just be ready to spend some time getting it setup. This is so robust and what you can do in the software is quite expansive, so it takes a little bit of time to get the lay of the land, but once you do, you are more empowered and your admins and managers are more empowered because of this.

The only pro I have for Workday is that it looks cute and has fun colors. I also really liked support staff who came to our office for the implementation.

Cons

Too new with the recruiting functions so it doesn't have much to offer. If you make a mistake you have to redo all of your job postings. The should model Salesforce if they want people to like their product.

A company I used to work for used workday and it was great. It was a very simple way to access pay stubs, insurance info, and anything else without having to deal with a complex HR network while still being very secure. Highly recommend!

This software provides extensive detail for HR purposes. It is easy to use for simple tasks and the customer service can usually assist when there are gaps. It is highly customization to meet your company's needs for compensation.

Certain tasks are hard to navigate and there are times when the buttons time out and you can not navigate any farther on the page.
