The software has freed up time to focus on tasks that can drive value like having face time with employees and to hear their feedback which in turn drives retention.

Pros

I like how it makes a potentially stressfully enrollment easy. It also lets you monitor the benefits and allows your organization to monitor the plans and customize it as the company likes.

Cons

There is a lot of information and data to take in. The dashboard can overwhelm new users but it is meant to help drive insights

Feels like it should do more, but the performance review system is so complicated I've not seen 2 people use it the same way. Saving and updating information shouldn't be as complicated as they have made it.

Pros

Allows me to document and request time off. Eventually gets the tasks needed done.

Cons

User interfaces is a lot of clicks and overly categorized systems leave what should be pretty simple for the end user rather complicated. Seems the system is designed for HR ease and not the employee. Communications of of the system are rarely helpful and often misleading.

What I liked about the software upfront was running payroll the way I wanted to run it. This software also helps you stay in compliance with the every changing federal laws.

Pros

I like that once everything is set up, it is easy to use. Its like payroll/human resources in one and helps cut down on time spent doing certain payroll activities.

Cons

Cost is always a con but for certain software, I do not mind paying a cost but your company should be prepared to pay a higher than normal cost.

Pros

I like that there is an app for this. I like the ease of use. I like how clean the software is. The use between computer and app are seamless. There is a lot of information in one system. I like how easy it is to update information.

Cons

I feel as though there could be more features. I would like to see more detailed data in my personal profile such as payroll at a glance monthly and yearly. There are not many cons.

It has not been long since I started using Workday, and it has been quite okay so far. A fully detailed review could be given after using it for a longer time.

Pros

It is easy to schedule and request for holidays. It also is essential to see the work schedules.

Cons

It is expensive and can be overwhelming to use the first time.

I find it hard to log into Workday, this is currently with our IT team and they are speaking to Workday about how to resolve. So far the service is good.

Pros

The visuals with Workday are fun. The buttons are large. The benefits feature is very useful and informative. Otherwise, I had to contact the companies to change any aspect of my benefits; this has made changing beneficiaries or other things much easier. I use Workday for time cards and now that we use it to track benefits, I'm an even bigger fan.

Cons

There is a learning curve with Workday. At my job, we had several Workday training events and some workflow fliers sent around. I found the best method of learning was just using it. It can be clunky in areas, such as with timecards, and it is not very intuitive how to navigate the landscape. The process of clicks to go from point A to point B seems somewhat laborious at times. But, the benefits feature is undeniably one of the best aspects of Workday.

Overall I'd recommend!

Pros

Overall, very happy with Workday as a staffing Applicant Tracking System. They seem to have pretty good customer service and response quickly when we have questions.

Cons

One con would be the lack of customization..We wish we had the ability to customize some of the tiles and change things to our needs.

I find that Workday Performance Management does not overwhelm the user with various capabilities or features. It provides a concise view which allows for quicker and easier performance management.

Pros

For what Workforce does, it is great! I enjoy seeing the leader comments from when they submit their feedback of their performance. I also like that they can send the performance review back to me to edit.

Cons

Often times the viewing capabilities to previous years reviews are limited or you are unable to compare previous years goals or dating side by side.

Pros

Workday was such a great software switch for us. It makes it so easy to request PTO, approve PTO, reference org charts, make healthcare coverage elections, etc.

Cons

It does seem a bit cumbersome at times. We were never formally trained on the software, so sometimes I feel like I'm missing out on helpful aspects of it.

Pros

I love that there is such a vast number of videos and training modules available in so many areas that allow cross-training. It has an excellent reporting feature that allows you to export spreadsheets which is an idea benefit, especially when monitoring new hires.

Cons

It is a bit difficult to search in the software. It requires a lot of filtering.

Pros

I like that software has a modern look. Things are laid out clearly when it comes to what coverage you have and how much.

Cons

I do not find this product very easy to use. We switched over about a year ago. A lot information did not switch over from our previous HR system. I had to re-enter beneficiaries. I stumbled across the blank sections or I would not have know that the information was not there. I also had an instance where it did not save changes that I had made, despite it saying that it did.
