This makes the software easy to use, easy to see what reminders or call out items need to be attended and a breeze to work with overall. Cons Couple of things on the training side, where one has to go back to the main page to access learning sets instead of being able to use a Back button. Pros I enjoy that I can see my direct deposit, taxes, and other helpful resources. Cons It would not save the new password I have changed permanently, so I continuously have to create a new one each time logging in, it might just be that my phone has an issue, but overall I enjoy this software. I expected it to be complicated, but right away it was easy to use. It serves as a great tool to use for work. Cons It would be helpful if this software contained more information on the different users. For example, more forms of their contact info. Cons I have found that daily use of Workday is quiet user friendly. However, those features I don't use frequently are somewhat complicated to figure out. Pros Workday made is very simple to to keep track of all of my new hire paperwork and make sure I finished them in time. Cons Despite finishing most of the items that were listed on my account they would still show up in my notifications leading to confusion on whether I had actually finished them or not. It has a nice, modern and friendly feel to it. Filling in long forms can be a pain though because every time you click on a section it unlocks it for editing (even when you didn't mean to) and then you have to wait for it to save and re-lock that section when you move to another part of the screen. Cons Sometimes when a task is assigned, it is not always clear what is required to complete the task or what comes next after the task is completed. Also on some forms you don't realize until you click Submit that there were mandatory fields which needed to be filled in. Review Source JS Joanne S. Workday was a huge leap forward for our HR department and for staff within our company. Pros Our company moved to Workday last year. The web portal is well laid out and most stuff is easy to figure out. I also like that there is a Workday app to manage your information from your phone. Pros Cleaner interface than our older tool. Features easy enough to comprehend. Was able to add leave and have it automatically approved by my manager Cons The implementation process was really rocky, our HR systems were down for 3 days. Pros Time off, Compensation, Employee Information, viewing your team and hierarchy all in one go. I like the product for its clean and intuitive user interface. No confusion. Cons I liked the product as I used it but Actions in the inbox was one red highlight. At time the actions are not navigable. As a fresher I didn't know is it a critical update or not. Pros Since implementing Workday, I have loved that I can see my vacation and sick time available, review policies, make changes to my tax exemptions, etc. all in one place at any time. It is easy and intuitive and I find that I refer to it all the time. I am not an administrator so I can't speak to the cost or ease to maintain, but from a user perspective, it has been wonderful. Cons The only annoyance is that it seems to timeout very quickly. I know that is a security feature to prevent unauthorized access if I forget to log off so I shouldn't really complain. It may be a configurable setting, but I would like a little more time to refer to a calendar or other information before the session terminates.
