Pros Workday is the leading cloud based ERP. Oracle and SAP have been late to the market when looking at the Higher Education Market. Cons Student Module needs additional features and functionality. Workday is about 2 years away from providing a complete SIS environment for the Higher Ed segment. The tabular form of Bonus & One-Time Payment History is the one that I liked most. Cons I did not see there is any significant drawback. Pros Its easy to navigate by intuition and you can get things done more than one way. Cons There is so much that it can do sometimes you end up going the long way to get what you need. After being at the company almost 9 years, at least the last 3 years, we've been utilizing Workday. I like how well the software is customizable to the needs and the functionalities support our company's needs. For instance, we have quarterly reviews and the Workday system sends out automated reminders, then there are reminders in the Inbox until specific tasks are completed. Also, when I'm using the tool to write feedback, there are tools built in for spell check, bullet-formatting and other simple, yet important tools to make it easy to use. I like that you can "Submit Now" or "Save for Later" too. Overall, I do like the tool and it is easier to use than previous tools used by my company! Review Source AW Alicia W. There are a few improvements that I would like to see happen, but it may be just because we as a company haven't customized it to match expectations yet. Pros As a soon to be graduate I have been consistently seeking job opportunities that have in many cases resulted in a need to use this as an intermediary. I love the fact that my resume remains on file and I can use it again. Cons There was no certain feature about the software that I liked least. Pros I uploaded my CV and it read its content to auto-populate the form, which was very helpful. The layout of the sections was clear and easy to follow. Cons When it auto-populated the information on the application form, it kept the paragraph formatting from the original file, so I still had to rework it. August 2, 2018 5.0 Pros I wish every organization used workday! It's by far one of the most intuitive and user friendly platforms I've used. It gives an easy to understand breakdown of everything from salary and benefits to vacation. Cons I haven't had any negative experiences on the user end. I imagine that one of the prohibitive features on an employer end (particular for non-profits) is the expense. Pros Workday does everything that you’d need it to do as an employee accessing information through an HR software. I just don’t think that it’s super easy to navigate. Cons As mentioned, I find Workday difficult to navigate. I don’t always know how to get where I need to find what I’m looking for and some important functions, like checking the PTO requests of direct teammates, are really hidden and hard to find.
