its a simple and convenient process overall and we can bridge over to companies with the information

Pros

I like that all the company rates are in one spot to do comparison shopping for the customers.

Cons

the companies that use credit scoring give the price based off of the best credit score rate vs the average which misleads us on pricing.

The default is recommended in most cases, but if you would like to change it to average, there is a drop-down that allows you to do so. ### "TurboRater API review"

Pros

TurboRater API is very flexible in handling variations of possible data variations.

Cons

The API is very difficult to integrate! Errors are very seldom obvious. I.e. we would get a 500 for unauthorized situations. Also got 500 when a properties value was incorrect (cases where documentation was incorrect). Support was very slow in responding; took a long time in determining the root cause. For example, the 500 with invalid data took 2 weeks.

We have been using TurboRater for over 10 years and could not be more satisfied with this product. It's been a reliable platform to run our insurance agency.

Pros

Very user friendly, can quote with multiple insurance companies at the same time after filling out some basic information. Bridging quotes to insurance companies websites is a fast and easy process ensuring more sales. After making a sale, we can easily transfer the information into our agency management software.

Cons

I haven't run into any issues while using TurboRater.

Easy to use everywhere, I have access even if I am not in the office

I have been dealing with TurboRater for over 20 years. I love how easy it is to use and how fast and accurate it usually is.

Pros

It is easy to use. Predictable and usually up to date on all of the insurance company quirks.

Cons

A few things have been changed that I would prefer hadn't. I like to tab through everything and I can't on the violations screen now.

Pros

I love that I can get an accurate rate for my customer in less than 10 minutes with Multiple Carriers

Cons

I would say we need a way to see if the customer has had a quote before

Rating with multiple insurance companies, bridging to companies programs and Agency Management

Pros

We have used ITC Turborater for 20+ years. Easy to Use, Great integration with all non-standard companies in Oklahoma.

Cons

Would be better if you could fill out just one screen for a quote, but I sure the complexities of getting rates on many companies complicate matters

### "Turborater experience"

If my staff didn't save some time using it I would get rid of it. Not accurate. Provides some value but not much. If pricing goes up I will probably stop using it.

Pros

It does save time on auto quotes so I have an idea which company may have the best premium.

Cons

Completely inaccurate for HO policies. Not compatible with many companies. Data does not transfer to companies for accurate quoting.

It was supposed to be more accurate and accessed more of our companies than competitors.

The software is fairly easy to use and allows quick quotes with the various insurance carriers that we do business with.

Cons

I wish there was a way to manipulate the software so that after changes are made it just corrects the existing quote at the company website instead of generating a new one.

I have been a customer since about 1990 or 91 and have had other companies try to lure me away. I wouldn’t change for anything.

Pros

I can quickly and efficiently quote every lead that calls in. No jumping from one company software to the other and entering duplicate information.

Cons

It is hard to find anything negative about ITC TurboRater. 99.9% accurate quotes when correct information entered in.

I just wish all the rates I see on the rater were more accurate and not have to bridge to each individual company to confirm the rate.

I have a lot of companies I am appointed with. TurboRater makes my life easier when selecting the best price for my customer.

Pros

Internet base usage is what I like most. Also the ease of adding a motorcycle policy or homeowners.

Cons

When I put that someone has a suspended license it doesn't rate correctly with some companies like Infinity or Kemper specialty.

Pros

Being able to comparative shop multiple companies at one time with software that has accurate pricing allows me to work more efficiently. I also like being able to put notes in each clients quote, so that another agent in the office can easily assist the client if I am unavailable at that moment.

Cons

Least favorite is a few hidden questions, (aka: what state licensed)

### "We are forced to use this software and hate it"

We were very happy with AccuAuto and did not want to change over to Turbo Rater. We had been using it for 20 years and were pleased. We are now paying twice as much for software that does not work as well as the old software. As soon as one more of our insurance companies are available on another rating system, we will be leaving

single screen is nice, but that is all.

Cons

unreliable, not accurate, and definitely not AccuAuto. Over priced.

Not what we expected. Feel forced into using a system that is still not working for us.

Pros

Ummm. this is tough. The main pro is that we are used to using the agency management system.

Cons

Still cant use Turbo Rater. Does not return quotes; passwords don't work, takes too much time. Generally, we are paying extra $100+ per month just for Agency management. We have to quote everything direct through carriers. Looking to change systems as soon as possible.

Pros

Love that this program even exists! I cannot imagine having to input a customers information one by one on a certain company lorddd thank god for this system. Love how the information that is inputted transfers over to the insurance company

Cons

Sometimes but very rarely the system will go down & takes forever to load. Some of the information inputted on ITC sometimes doesn't transfer over accurately to the insurance company. Those are my only 2 downfalls.
