### "We were an early adopter of NavRisk and have been pleased since the roll out."

November 29, 2017

5.0

Pros

Ease of accessibility even from the field. We can access it when we are at meetings with out laptops with no need for a special connection. I love that I can even access it from my iPhone.

Cons

The document generation via letters in the system. The old silver light version was not that great and the newer version it replaced is even worse.

### "Has everything we need and great customer service"

December 4, 2017

4.0

Pros

The value and the customer service, it has everything we need for claim's software. The company is very friendly as well.

Cons

Hard to use, can have some issues when inputting data. Not user-friendly. I have to write down a lot of the step by step directions.

### "Disappointing. Web based program not as functional as we had hoped. Renaissance was better."

December 8, 2017

3.0

Web based software allows us to work claims when we're traveling.

Pros

Having web-based software is ideal for traveling. The EDI reporting works efficiently most of the time which is critical since electronic reporting is required of insurers in MT. The response time is consistently good. This was a concern when we began looking at webbased software. Creating trouble tickets is easy. We periodically get emails requesting our opinion and we're asked if we have any concerns. If we had more time we would take more advantage of support when its offered. The annual contract service fee is reasonable.

Cons

SAP Reporting has been the biggest problem. Running reports is slow. The formatting /shading of the reports uses too much paper and ink. The drop-downs default to oldest dates. This is particularly a problem in medical review. The MT fee schedule is updated annually. When we enter CPT code, system defaults to the oldest fee schedule. We have to scroll down to select the newest fee schedule amounts. Unecessarily time consuming. Default needs to be changed to grab the newest date. It's baffling to us that this hasn't been fixed. It doesn't seem we are the only insurer that this affects.

### "I process changes to the policies and issue certificates of insurance"

December 5, 2017

4.0

Better layout of information and user friendly in some items (looking up particular vehicles, properties, finding a member).

Pros

I like the overall layout of the screens-easy to read and quick to look up items such as particular vehicles and properties by typing a few letters.

Cons

too many tabs to go through for looking at a particular item and more steps in processing work and the process to do certificates is not user friendly as I am unable to revise a certificate holder name (I have to add a new item to the list of certificate holders).

### "My experience with NavRisk Vision has been extremely disappointing. "

December 4, 2017

2.0

Cons

No commas for amounts in many places, e.g. claims summary and detail tabs. This makes it very difficult to tell the amount of large numbers (we have claims that are over $1.0 million). NavRisk Vision report cannot be scheduled to run automatically. This is a feature that has been part of the David Corp claims software since 1988. When exporting files out of NavRisk Vision the default file type is for Chrystal Reports rather than the pdf format. Bulk payments - claim number has to be reentered for each payment, reverts to first claim in the bulk payments. Certain check printing features that were in prior systems are no longer available. Problems with 1099 reporting.

### "Ease of use if awful, "

November 29, 2017

3.0

Pros

Exporter is more user friendly for running reports than the old one was. We like the tiles feature.

Cons

WAY too many steps to accomplish things such as endorsements!!!!!! No scroll feature available, instead use must select the next page. We miss the history icon in the coverage area. Too much white space, the screens need to be more condensed to help cut down on scrolling up and down constantly. It times out or locks up more than the old product.

### "The info which was to be transferred over from our existing system to NavRisk did not get transfered"

November 29, 2017

2.0

Pros

There has been so much negative I haven't had time to see the positive. We had a lot of down time, there was no response or feedback regarding how our letters could be fixed, i.e., rolling while typing, inability to copy& paste from letters to Notepad.

Cons

The lack of info that was to be transferred, letters that cannot be edited, duplicated entries some that can be deleted & some that cannot. Copy & Paste does not work. It is not claim handler friendly.

Response from DAVID

November 30, 2017

HI Laura, I spoke to our service manager and he assured me all these issues are being addressed. The DAVID team will be onsite next week for additional training, and to report back on software releases that should fix the issues you are having. I hope after this meeting you will feel better about working with NAVRISK VISION.

### "I'm disappointed that your product regressed from Renaissance to Navrisk. "

December 8, 2017

2.0

Pros

Document save feature from a scan, where I can have a report saved for future reference. That way if the report is misplaced it is readily available.

Cons

With Renaissance, I could take a letter I wrote on another claim, paste it in another claim just changing the name, claim number, etc. in maybe 3 minutes. I haven't figured out how to do that on Navrisk after 10 months with it.

### "Lots of fancy features we can't use. None of the ones we need."

December 4, 2017

2.0

Pros

Easy Access Launch pad into modules. Setting used for last version of same report are saved for the next time you create it.

Cons

A lot more things are manual now with the upgrade. Should be the other way around. Things should be more automated. Cannot schedule Navrisk Vision reports. Fancy features designed for the boardroom, but no thought to the users putting the data in.

### "Not as great as could be"

July 26, 2018

3.0

Pros

It could be because of the agreement we have, but I had issues logging in, no one could help me at my office , I had to talk to someone at their office, it took sometime for a fairly simple process, reset a password.

Cons

It is slow, takes a long time to load, and again this can be an issue at my work. It is not that easy to navigate.

### "NAVRISK is a huge upgrade from the previous Renaissance software"

November 28, 2017

4.0

Pros

The ability to customize your fields is the most useful tool. For example, there is a ton of information that you can run a search on, some of which, because we are a self-insured municipality, we don't need. The ability to remove some of those fields from my usual view is very useful so that my normal view isn't cluttered. But if I ever need the other fields, getting them back is as simple as a few clicks of the mouse.

Cons

The inability to see all of the various fields in some of the views. For example, when looking at payment screens, unlike in Renaissance, a lot of information is found off the screen, requiring you to scroll right to see everything. It just takes some getting used to. There is a lot more information to see using Nav, but having to scroll to access it all takes some getting used to.

### "Frustrating and time-consuming"

December 8, 2017

3.0

Pros

I like that one can customize the appearance and layout of the desktop. Other than that, I can't think of anything I really like about it.

Cons

Takes multiple clicks to do what one used to accomplish in Renaissance. Unable to tab across fields; must use mouse. Have to scroll through too many screens to get to where you want to be.

### "Relatively pleasant, a few minor bumps but were quickly resolved"

December 8, 2017

4.0

We will have found more efficiencies with our work flow.

Pros

I like that its web based now. I'm really liking the processing of quotes/policies capabilities. Its much easier to track what's going on with an account.

Cons

I dislike changing from a editable grid to a view only grid. That was a set back for our functionality.

### "It was easy to navigate."

December 8, 2017

4.0

Pros

It was easy to understand how to choose options. It was easy to choose whether to purchase contact lenses or glasses.

Cons

It was hard to log in. At first it was hard to navigate the website but now it is easy to navigate.
