It seems to be related to connectivity potentially so not sure if it is a ZyDoc issue or wifi. They have been the sole provider of medical transcription services for my Orthopaedic Surgery practice and my Medical-Legal consulting business. They have been and continue to be exceptional in all aspects. Highly recommended. Pros High volume chart notes and multi-page detailed medical legal reports were transcribed accurately with turnaround times under 24 hours. Website interface was exceptionally easy to edit my documents and store/search years of transcriptions. Customer support never failed to resolve any issue I had, from technical hardware/software issues, to document formatting with very little downtime. Flexibility to customize my routine work allowed my workflow volume to easily expand as my business increased. Cons I least liked not being able to use Apple products in the early years of my relationship with them. This was eventually resolved allowing me to use the entire suite of apple products seamlessly. User friendly, responsive, willing to make changes without being defensive and super easy to work with in general. Their prices are also good in my opinion. Pros The customer service is top notch. Any time I have had an issue, I sent an email and received a response very quickly-I would guess within an hour. They are also friendly and willing to accommodate and make changes based on my preferences for things. They welcome feedback without ever getting defensive. The Zydoc system is very easy to use as well-user friendly. I am not very good with technology, so this is a major bonus for me. Cons There have been a few hiccups along the way, but they were all minor-nothing serious. I had a short time when a transcriber failed to transcribe my words exactly as they were. For example, typing "Did not" instead of "Didn't." When you have to go through and make all those changes during the proofreading portion, it can be very time intensive. I notified Zydoc, they were extremely responsive, and the issue was correct. I have not had that problem since. The ability to interface with the EMR using a smartphone has improved our ability to spend more quality time with the patients and ensure that prompt documentation occurs. Additionally, our facility offers several specialties and the adaptation to the terminology specific to these specialties allows for professional and accurate patient documentation without constant manual intervention. I have been very pleased with the support from my contact person, she has always been available for me and always offered a solution or additional contact person when needed. Pros One of the most beneficial features of ZyDoc is the ability to interface with our EMR (eClinicalWorks) and allowing the Providers access their patient schedules via their smartphone for quick and efficient dictation virtually anywhere. In addition, the use of provider specific macros and mapping to appropriate locations within our EMR documentation allows for productive use of the documentation time. Cons While there have been limited issues that would be considered major, all applications have their quirks and room for improvement. I feel that any issues we had, were rectified promptly and correctly with the proper support team. I think one thing that might be more useful in this instant response culture we all work in, might be a quicker turn around, although it is most times very acceptable. We primarily use ZyDoc for dictating medical letters, and it has made the process much easier and more efficient for our office. Our physicians can quickly dictate their letters without having to spend time typing them, which saves valuable time for both the doctors and our administrative staff. The service is easy to use, reliable, and has become a helpful part of our daily workflow. While I would love to see the option to automatically add each physician's signature to the completed letters, this is a relatively minor issue. Overall, ZyDoc is a wonderful product and service, and I would definitely recommend it to other medical practices looking for an efficient solution for physician-dictated letters. Pros What I like most about ZyDoc is how easy it makes dictating our medical letters. We use it primarily for physician correspondence and medical letters, and it has made the process much more efficient. Instead of spending time typing letters, our providers can dictate them quickly and have them processed without disrupting their workflow. It is very user-friendly and has helped us save a significant amount of time. For a busy medical office, having a reliable dictation service makes a big difference in keeping letters completed and sent out in a timely manner. I also appreciate how well it fits into our existing workflow. It is simple for our providers to use, and the time savings for both the physicians and administrative staff make it a valuable service for our office. Overall, I would recommend ZyDoc to other medical practices that rely heavily on physician-dictated letters. Cons One feature I wish ZyDoc offered is the ability to automatically add each doctor's electronic signature to the completed letter. This would make the process even more efficient and eliminate an additional step for our staff. Other than that, I really don't have many cons to mention. ZyDoc is a wonderful product and service.
