Software Developer Information Technology and Services Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Hassle-free accurate notes" November 21, 2025 5.0 I have used this software for years. The platform is quick to set up and it saves a ton of time editing notes. Pros I can submit audio files from my Philips recorder, and the completed documents look right the first time. Cons When I was first looking at using the software, their website didn't have screenshots or videos of the software and its features. They gave me a one-on-one demo, but I would have preferred to have tried it out myself. Review Source Response from ZyDoc April 19, 2026 Thanks for the positive review! We are focused on our clients more than marketing but we have updated our information. Yes we work with most digital recorders and prefer the HIPAA compliant ones from Olympus, Philips and others but most doctors want to use our smartphone apps and not carry a second device. Many of the doctors now use ZyDoc at the ASC and the office. June 27, 2017 4.0 Pros It is very easy to edit documents and download them and also to print them out the company we used to use before would not let me do that only the doctors were allowed to edit the letters and had to have a password to do that. Cons I wish that there was no time limit on having the screen open sometimes I get interrupted and I have to do something else and when I'm able to go back to the screen it has signed off and I have to log back on again and I loose my place in the que. If I can’t order online or book an appointment online, I’m likely to go somewhere else. I love that I can schedule appointments and/or find new docs through this app. Easy to use, I just wish everyone used it! The patient list of the day IDs also available so I don't have to manually enter patient information Cons Sometimes I have trouble uploading documents and the server is busy. Cons Would love to have a notification system when a dictation is completed, an email or text would be great. I also like how I can access the recording so if their is a word typed that I do not understand I can replay the dictation.
