Pros A-System JobView allows us to have all project information in one place. Once set up the software is easy to use. This makes it possible to Job cost multiple projects in real time. Now our team members have access to the right information required to make quick informed project decisions. Cons Would love to see an App for collecting information onsite. Accounting Construction Used the software for: 2+ years ### "A-System is Fantastic" March 28, 2023 5.0 We LOVE A-Systems and would recommend to anyone that needs a good system to use for Construction projects! Pros A-Systems is fantastic overall. We use this system for a Construction and Service. We have multiple jobs set up so we can keep track of all the cost (time and materials) for each individual job, along with the breakdown of the services side too. We use the payroll side of this system which figures all payroll taxes along with keeping track of all hours worked per job. Cons We have quite of few customers that like to add PO numbers one we process invoices. If we could go back and add that PO after posting the invoice would be great. " March 20, 2023 5.0 A-systems JobView helps us pay attention to every little detail allowing our company to easily identify mistakes or possible issues prior to them occurring and resolve them quickly. Also, by being able to easily integrate with other programs it has dramatically decreased the amount of time it takes to do things such as payroll processing, budget importing, and bank statement reconciliation. Other products don't even come close. Pros This software is a huge asset to our company! Beyond the ease of accessibility, it is very customizable, and you can make almost any other program integrate with JobView. With just a phone call or email there is an engaged team that provides professional assistance. A-System JobVew consistently demonstrate that they care about their clients as a client of 10 plus years there nowhere else I'd rather have my business. Cons Occasionally there are glitches with the system that make certain reports hard to read, but with a quick phone call it is usually resolved right away or the next day. Office Manager Utilities Used the software for: 2+ years ### "My Jobview Experiences" March 20, 2023 5.0 I have been using A-Systems for just over 3 years and I enjoy learning from the annual user conference and be able to work with the most up-to-date changes that are mostly suggested by users to make our jobs easier and more efficient. Pros I am the only person in the office that uses A-Systems and I was able to switch over from another software and have managed to learn from the system about details for job costing that I never thought I could handle. Payroll is simple and easy once it is set up. Reports are my biggest challenge but I am getting there. The staff at A-Systems cares about helping you & most of all listening to your needs and or wants. Cons Reports are my biggest challenge. It is me learning to set all the right selections to get the most out of the data to show breakdown cost on each job. Reason for choosing A-Systems JobView After a complete walk through demo of the software and the capabilities, decided it would be the best fit for job costing and how the business is run. March 20, 2023 5.0 A-Systems JobView was a very cost effective software that handles all of our AP, AR, Payroll & Job Costing needs. Every interaction with A-Systems personnel is a positive! Pros I have been through multiple software implementations and this was by far the smoothest transition to a new software! Set up was easy to understand and I didn't feel like I was rebuilding the wheel. A-Systems JobView "makes sense" to the users, so the training was quick and painless!I also LOVE how responsive A-Systems is to suggestions and requests! Cons My only complaint is that the certified payroll piece of A-Systems JobView is not the best. The certified payroll reports it prints are great. However, the programming that tells the payroll module what rate to pay employee A for project ABC, is lacking. I acknowledge that this is a very complex issue and can have many different moving parts and I have never had a software that could handle it from start to finish to my satisfaction. They all handle one piece or another very well but not all combined. March 20, 2023 5.0 We are celebrating our 50 th year in business and JOBVIEW makes business "fun" as it takes all the number grinding out of accounting , leavin managers more time focus on quality work and customer satisfaction. Our CPA of over 45 years loves our JOBVIEW software for the multitude of reports he can call up from P/R, A/P, J/C, G/L and many more data files. Pros JOBVIEW intigrates all functions of our construction operation enabling us easily to print accurate 10 page monthly financial statements. Cons they are located in Salt Lake City 2 hours behind our time so we can not get support until 10 AM our time for the occasional times we need support. The flip side of this is they are open till 7PM eastern time to answer any questions and they almost always pick up on the first ring and always a clear english speaker, unlike some other suppliers who outsource service to foriegn speakers to difficult for my constuction noise damaged ears to even understand barely a word. March 20, 2023 5.0 The support team is amazing and very quick to respond with the solution. Often time, taking note of the issue at hand and working on a permanent fix with the next update. Software seems very active/current at all times. Pros A-Systems is a complex construction accounting management tool that we use as a general contractor. It tracks all our vendors, clients, projects, payroll, and finances. The software has the ability to hold A LOT of information. Cons The least attractive feature is the lag time when there are multiple users trying to operate different functions at the same time. Pros I have used Jobview for around 20 years and I would highly recommend it. I started with the small builder and upgraded as my business grew. It does everything I need it to do and more, and the certified payrolls save a lot of time. I also use it for several other small businesses that I do accounting for and it works in a number of industries. Cons I don't have any problems with JobView. Any issues I have had have been easily solved by their wonderful tech support. My company personnel are not the most tech savy, so advanced apps would not be a help to me. I like it just as is. Payroll is easy to track and complete the reports needed including all union items. Payables, Receivables, General Ledger are easy to use and give me the reports I need for my financials. Job costing allows accurate invoicing and tracking of jobs. Pros I have used JobView for 19 years now. I find it easy to use and provides all the information we need to manage our jobs and for me to process work daily, monthly and at the end of the year. Cons I can't think of anything I would like improved. Over the years they have listened to their users and tweaked a few things making it better. We have used this system for 15+ years and with all of the new technology and programs out there, I have no desire to switch to a new platform. A-Systems provides support that builds their program to fit our needs. Pros Since we job cost, A-Systems keeps everything streamlined from data entry to job cost reporting. The company had used the old system for forever and did not like change. The A-Systems folks assured me their software was user friendly. Getting set up was easier than I thought and the support system is awesome. Now that I have been using it for over 3 years I love it. All aspects of the software we have used to date are great for accounting, project managers and the owner. I hope to go to a conference to learn even more and meet the wonderful people that take care of me. I love the fact you talk to the same people when you call for help and not just a call center.
