And the vendors can log in to see if we've marked the purchase order as work complete. Cons When selecting a purchase order to open it, it takes too long for each page to load. Always thought I'd be a devotee to MYOB and programs similar but there was only so much that MYOB could do and when my boss introduced me to BuilderTrend, it just makes sense. Everything an be done from one program and the fact that our clients can comment, make selections and see how their builds are going, is fantastic. Builders can upload daily logs and photos of each build from the handy app that we have installed on their phones while they're on site. From my side of things with uploading quotes, purchase orders and maintaining the info is so simple and I love that when a client or supplier who doesn't have access to BuilderTrend calls to find out the progress and were a job is, it's a simple click away for me to fill them in. January 25, 2017 5.0 Can't say enough AMAZING things about CoConstruct! It has finally given our company the feeling that we are in complete control of all our jobs. From start to finish CoConstruct helps assist our company with organizing schedules, keeping up to date on change orders and well as so many other features! Pros CoConstruct has the best staff/customer service department. They will always work with you on any issue you have not to mention the extensive. Support Portal that everyone has access to. July 3, 2014 4.5 Pros The team at BuilderTREND provides excellent customer service and walks you through any questions or difficulties that might arise. The two best features are the online interactive calendar that allows the owner to understand the construction tasks and impact on the schedule and the change order feature that allows a client to review and accept/decline change orders without a face-to-face meeting; both save a huge amount of time. Cons I don't have any negative feedback. I would love to see a cost coding feature or time tracker feature to record employee activities for payroll purposes and job costing purposes. August 23, 2018 5.0 I have looked at other systems and always come back to cocon due to the features and ease of use. Pros I can keep all information for each project in one place. Including contracts, specifications, variations and all communication. Our clients love the fact that they can access the info anywhere and at anytime. We love it because there is little or no confusion resulting in less disputes. Cons Its expensive for smaller jobs. I would like to see a contract period reconciler to keep track of the contract period, extensions of time and variations extensions of time. We currently do this manually. Review Source DT David T. Keeping the line of communication open with the client has proven to be a great success for our company. Co-construct also helps to keep record of all the comunication for the client throughout the entire project. Co-construct helps with scheduling and keeping the cleint up to date on any last minute changes or updates. A quick picture helps to let the cleint know if any situations arise and if the schedule is "bumped" because of an unforseen item. The program has proven to be fairly easy to use for my cleints as well. They seem to pick up on it quickly and say it's similar to using email. December 20, 2016 5.0 I think we've been able to integrate the program in a relatively short period of time with the combination of co-camp and the help from the co-construct team. We've already seen a significant improvement in communication among the different parties involved in our projects, and are very much looking forward to the benefits of a more streamlined process as we prepare for what we expect to be a very busy year ahead. Whether you're strictly a custom, semi-production, or production builder, Co-Construct offers the tools to manage schedules, selections, communications, and much more through a user-friendly interface. What may be even better than all of that is if you have a question, a comment, and/or a suggestion, the Co-Construct team is there with open ears and answers. The level of service is outstanding; I would highly recommend Co-construct to everyone. I did the research, sat the through presentations with several companies, and Co-Construct has surpassed the competition by thoughtfully and creatively combining all the tools you need to keep your company organized, on track, and on schedule. The reps, techs, etc, are all extremely knowledgeable and I appreciate that they are so responsive. The program itself is user friendly and I have yet to come across anything I would consider problematic. The training videos they provide are informative and answer any questions that I may have. The Tech people get back to me in just a couple of hours with the right answer. Pros Flexibility - can do virtually everything we need. And what it can't do, there are work-arounds. it is simple to use and allows you to navigate easily through the system. They consistently take our advice, field our questions, and make it better for our clients. Most of our clients are remote, tech savvy, and demanding of the details. This stystem allows us to stay connected and serve the client in all those fashions. The new budgeting component will only make the system more efficient and beneficial to our clients. It has proven to be an equally important marketing tool. We initially got the system to improve our operational efficiency but we soon realized that it could do so much more to sell the professionalism we wanted to convey. Our communication has been able to be streamlined from pre-construction all the way to warranty work. I could go on and on about all the amazing benefits of this software. This has been as important as blueprints are to build a house. Pros Email, Change Order Tab and payments, Online Selections, Tracking costs, and schedules. When compared with other systems the training overhead is low. Cons We have found that subs have no way to alert us that warranty items have been completed other than text in the notes field. A few years ago we transitioned to apple products which has greatly reduced our IT support needs. This product reminds me of that transition. It seems every time I've asked a question to support or during implementation the solution is readily available or is in the engineering queue to be resolved soon. Cons We have a wide range of Customers. My biggest problem is when I have a small project that goes through the prospect phase then eats up one of my billable jobs when I make it active. I would like to be able to roll a job that I will never add a client to from prospect to no-client. We don't set up a no-client job until we have a commitment or contract so at this point we only use these jobs for existing projects when we started using the system and for small handyman service calls. January 18, 2017 5.0 Reached out to software advice for the recommendation for two production management software. Researched both for several weeks and chose BuilderTrend after watching their instructional videos and talking to their customer support personnel. Recently attended the International Builders Show and walked into the BuilderTrend booth. Out of the 100 people they had on the floor, the first person I talked to was my customer service rep. Before we even sign a contract, clients are amazed by everything we can offer now with the help of BuilderTREND. My personal experience has been amazing! I am the sole 'care-taker' for the accounts on our BuilderTREND site. I am a very detail-oriented person that demands organization at work. BuilderTREND has offered a place with limitless space to store files, images and other information that can be accessed very easily. The staff at BuilderTREND is always helpful and very, very polite! November 12, 2018 5.0 I have not reached out yet, but I would like to be able to run reports from the program, ie. closed files, deadlines to file warranty claims. Pros The program was easy to use with the help of our personal Representative to answer any and all questions we had. After having the program for 9 months we still have not had an opportunity to utilize all the features it has to offer.
