### "Wonderful Product Amazing Support"

Pros

Since we started using Buildertrend we have taken control of our business like we had not had previously. It is an amazing resource to keep all client info in one place, and the amount of time it saves daily is invaluable. There was an initial learning curve but we were assigned our Client Service Manager and he held my hand through it all. We started out with weekly, sometimes twice a week, meetings until I was up and running. Now I reach out to Anthony regularly with any questions that may come up. The system has been a lifesaver so far, and we are only utilizing a small percentage of it. Once I master one aspect I take on another and with each new function I am so thrilled. It if wasn't for Anthony, and the client support team, I would have been lost. To many times people are sold a product and once purchased, the customer support goes by the wayside, not with Buildertrend.

Cons

There were some issues with the functionality that did not fit with our business model. I expressed this to the support staff and he took my concerns to his developers to work on adding these items in the future. Primarily having the costs feed directly into the owner invoices. The system is set up for flat rate jobs but Anthony and I were able to come up with a work-around in the meantime.

Can't say enough positive things. It's a foundational part of how we run our business.

Pros

Robust set of features reduces the need for other software and provides a single place to run all operations.

Cons

The estimate module needs work, as does the messaging features.

### "Great crm tool tool for construction"

I have no problem using Buildertrend, there is no issue. This is not the first CRM I have used. I had used many great CRM tools in the past 20 of my career in other industries. Buildertrend is my first in construction.

Pros

It's ease of use, I can access Buildertrend at the office, home or on the road via my iphone. However, on the ios. system i alway use the full site feature so the interface looks similar to the desktop at work. Great access to customer information to use during permit applications

Cons

This may be due to lack of knowledge in Buildertrend. Sometimes, there are files or photos originally entered when first met with the client are missed place one the client become a customer. I have to go back to the original enter data entry to find those files or photos. Please advise, thank you

Pros

Gathers all discussion in one locationKeeps all paperwork for each job in one location.Excellent reporting tools are provided by exporting data while utilising filters.The option to save many filters is fantastic, and filtering is done nicely.

Cons

Montly cloud service is much more expensive than Microsoft projects, and the application is only available online. No separate customer support for priority clients. Many features available in the pro version are absolute and un-necessary.

Co-Construct has been a valuable tool for our custom home building business. The software is very user-friendly and easy to navigate. We like the job costing features, how it streamlines the bidding process, and that it integrates with our accounting program. Our customers like being able to make their selections, see their budget and communicating with us all in the same place. And Co-construct tech support is quick to respond to any issues and take note of features that would be useful to us in the future.

### "CoConstruct Rocks!"

I'm hoping in the near future to work with tech support to get our Quickbooks integrated with CoConstruct. I realize I've only scratched the surface of what this amazing software can do. Speaking of amazing...instead of the many years of having a static schedule that needs constant managing and reworking, but to have CoConstruct's interactive schedule that alerts trades when their work is coming up, and alerts my project managers of when to order materials, etc. is fantastic!

Pros

What's not to like?! Everything you could possibly need for each project: Financials, Schedule, Specs & Selections, Change Orders, Files & Photos, To-Dos, Messages, Job Log, Warranty, etc) is right at your fingertips 24/7 from your desktop, laptop or phone. Not only a kickass sales tool for wowing potential clients, but a super user-friendly tool to manage your jobs day to day. And on top of all that, their tech support is the best I've ever worked with. Thanks CoConstruct!

Cons

Truthfully, I haven't found anything I don't like yet. The only negative I can point to is that I haven't taken the time to take advantage of all that CoConstruct has to offer. If I could actually set up my work day like the example given in Donny's demo video, my life would be paradise!

The support team was great and understanding of our issues. I'm glad we tried CoConstruct as it helped us figure out what was most important.

Pros

I really liked the functionality of CoConstruct on the desktop version. The estimating piece was something I had been looking for and was a main reason for selecting the product.

Cons

The Specs & Selections piece was important to our team. Being able to access that from the mobile app wasn't easy and my team wanted something more accessible. The cost was also more than we wanted to spend for not being exactly what we needed.

Great. Organization, efficiency, and scheduling. Job cost tracking for both materials and time clock labor.

Pros

Efficient, everything all in one place and excellent phone app. The customer support is great!

Cons

There have been a few "bugs" over the past couple years causing some minor short term issues but probably to be as expected with most platforms but BT was on top of resolving these fairly quickly and always followed up with an email once resolved.

We are all able to access our active job leads from our phones. Our guys in field can take pictures and keep daily logs. Our customers can see everything that is going on daily, they can send messages, comments, concerns and pay online through Buildertrend if need be. My files and my books are all kept through Buildertrend. I send out invoices and change orders and it lets the customers know what is due and when. We are still learning new tools on Buildertrend daily!

Pros

Their customer service is amazing! We are always calling needing guidance and if our coach is busy any other technician can help us.

Cons

It is a little costly for our type of construction. We turn projects over pretty fast, so we wish they had a price for remodeling contractors or smaller projects.

Buildertrend is entirely adjustable. Their staff are exceptionally mindful of help solicitations and they are eager to dig to find an answer for what we are inquiring.

Pros

it as the ability to see when employees punch in and out from, with the swiftness of the consumer support and the project management is just explicit.

Cons

the expense of utilizing the product is high.

We have developed better schedules, bidding, communication and many other processes, by utilizing what BT has to offer. We have attended BTU sessions and learned best practices from the trainers. We have more to learn and can't wait to master everything our Buildertrend software offers.

Pros

What I like most about Buildertrend software is the accessibility and share ability. BT helps us communicate and document every crucial piece of information needed, from start to finish, to help our projects run like silk. It's awesome!

Cons

I would like a manual, that I can refer to. However, the video training, phone calls, live chats and BT webinars are really helpful.

CoConstruct listens to their customers and works to improve their system, with the customer's needs/requests in mind. We have been with them for almost 2 1/2 years and we continue to be impressed with the continued improvements of the system. I have recommended CoConstruct and will continue to do so.

Pros

The CoConstruct team is very knowledgeable and responsive. The software is user friendly. We are able to keep all of the details of each job right at hand, wherever we are. Integrates with QuickBooks. Great experience for our clients.

Cons

App isn't as fully functional as the desktop experience, however the CoConstruct team is constantly at work to improve this, as well as their other features.

There is nothing that I do not like about this product!

I had tried a competitor for 1 project, and had to go back to Buildertrend right away, otherwise I would not have been able to to run the projects as easily as I could with Buildertrend.

It is amazing how helpful this software has been to me on a daily basis. I am able to view my projects, determine upcoming material needs, schedule contractors, communicate with the customer, make notes, and keep each project separate and organized. My customers enjoy seeing the progress on their project. It eliminates a lot of unneccesar

It is time consuming to set up a new project but well worth the effort for the end result.

We transferred thousands of contacts from ACT when we switched to BuilderTrend. We were only able to transfer 50 fields of data, which left a lot of fields not transferable. Then when we got the transfer done, the new Customer Contact module was rolled out, which BuilderTrend interns had to hand code a lot of the clients into the system (and we did too). It would have been much easier the custom fields were able to accept data straight from our Excel download (that would be my first recommendation - to be able to import into custom fields). You can look at our account notes as to the issues we had. The representative has been a great help to us and has taken the brunt of our frustrations. Each of us has our own issues that we would like to make better. Another improvement that would be nice is to be able to delete standard fields that we don't need (or rename them), and to move the custom fields up to where we don't have to click on the "custom +" to see them. We also have a lot of Leads from the import that could be changed to SOLD but have to go into each one and do that. This is taking a lot of time.

Pros

Scheduling and ease of making leads into jobs.

Cons

Not being able to hide or delete standard BT fields. Not being able to move our custom fields up with the standard fields (we think our custom fields are pretty standard).

It helps us keep our office and field connected with job information. Works well on smart phones and tablets. Allows for good job lookup after the job is complete.

Cons

I would like for the contracts to prompt the customer and the contractor for a signature. Currently it only asks the customer for the signature.

I don't know how I would have managed without the constructive co-construct support that was always very responsive and patient!!

Pros

Tracking time is helpful, but mostly getting invoicing and change orders issued are critical in my job.

Cons

Its a bit tricky going back and forth with in the specifications/options to change orders.

We at Greenstone Homes are a medium sized residential home building company in New Zealand. Our core business is the design and construction of residential homes. Previously we had engaged the use of several file formats and processes to hold and update information. There have been several options explored by us in the past to align our team and customers in a single tier to aid in the transference and uplifting of information conducive to the construction process. Although many of these options would have given some benefit, Our decision to run with BuilderTREND was the most fruitfull. The ease of use for both client and contractor makes for fast start. The learning curve is short and therefore no issues with a drawn out data input process. The platform is fully opptioned to cater for any specifics and the ability to input and retrieve data by any party is seemless. As our focus is on one off custom designs, clients have an unlimited scope to develop the home they require. This process required a level of detail not found within generic group builders and this is where the BuilderTREND software really gets into its stride. The client feels more entrenched in the project from design through to completion. The uplifting of additions from the client side are requested, costed and accepted with clear and concise records of each specific item. With the use of a touchscreen electronic devise and BuilderTrend software, clients feel the best of todays technology that is quick and easy to grasp. The level of control and input is valued highly as it gives all clients a unrealized perspective on how homes are built. BuilderTrend is a tool that will give any construction company more value than any single piece of tooling or equipment can. It is one of those things that makes you wonder how you got things done before. Thanks again to the Team at BuilderTREND.

Great experience, we have been using for 3 years and have added features every year to make it better for us.

Pros

Customer support is great, always helpful and very responsive. Their videos get you very far along and someone isn’t far via email or phone. We wanted to customize some features and they helped a ton with getting us set up.

Cons

There is no “undo” feature on schedules.

Tech support is the best. Always answers my calls when needed and has always gave me the help to get me back on track. They also keep adding new features without all the extra fees.

Pros

The benefits of using this program strongly out way the set up time needed to function to our contracting format. It helps us stay at a very professional level.

It forces me to do what I should do anyway to be fully organized.

Currently I am a team of two and I love being able to communicate with my colleague and assign To Do's for him and we can message and comment back and forth right here in the software from our desktops or on the buildertrend app while out in the field. Our rule is, if it's not documented in Buildertrend, it didn't happen.

Pros

I like that you can link a PO or calendar event together. It makes my life easier when an event comes up in my daily reminders and I can click on it to check it off as complete or have the flexibility to move it forward in the schedule, as we all know construction schedules can change from day to day.

Cons

I get a lot of notifications that don't pertain to me and I don't have the accessibility of an administrator to limit these notifications. My team is working on editing these for me.

I'm focusing my company on changing the way construction is done. In this day in time, there's better ways of doing things. There needs to be a level of understanding in the fact that these projects are more the customers homes than my job sites. There's also no reason why technology can't streamline the process. Co-construct helps me to accomplish both.

Pros

There's a lot of good things but overall, the focus on creating better communication for everyone and a pleasant customer experience is what makes this work. That often has not been the focus in construction even thought they are two of the most important aspects.

Cons

The user interface is great. I think any improvement that can be made there is always good. If I could, I would make everything even more simple and fail proof for users. Example: the last upgrade on emails was a good improvement.
