Used the software for: ### "" March 29, 2013 5.0 This software is the ticket. We are a medium sized homebuilder building roughly 30 homes a year. We have always had good processes, inspections, spreadsheets, etc., but never a place for it all to be housed and saved. We found BuilderTrend at the International Builder's Show in Las Vegas, and I can tell you we now have what we need. The ability to customize our needs within the system has been huge, and it has made our jump to BuilderTrend much smoother. In our market, we are ahead of the game using BuilderTrend, and we feel like it will give us the edge we need with new clients. I would recommend this software to anyone. Review Source JT Jan T. It takes a little of time to learn, but their customer support team is great at answering any questions you may have. We love having so many features synced together. It is also a great way to have everything on file (communications, quotations, selections, etc.) and all in one place for both us and the clients to reference. Cons It is more difficult to fully customize the product for our company than we initially thought. There are some parts that we don't need and other things we would like to add but cannot. Great support and training to acclimate to the program and very accessible and helpful representatives. A great selling point to using us as a builder is this program for our clients. They really look forward to being able to see the progress of their home being built. Clients using BuilderTrend is such a great way to get them familiar and comfortable with their subcontractors, which is key to great way to provide excellent customer service. April 6, 2015 5.0 Pros The product closely resembled an already existing business process for us that was being carried out over 4 different programs. Their product allowed us to easily streamline our process and was quick to implement. Their product really allows us to elevate the services we offer to our clients and help give us a competitive edge when bidding on contracts. Cons The only down side I can think of is the mobile app. It works great and has many of the same features as the desktop version, just no access to the contact list. Last year we completed two homes and eighty-three remodel projects of every size and scope. Managing information with email and spreadsheets was a difficult task, and Co-construct provides a good sense of where each project is to our team members. The scheduling is awesome. Support is among the best we have ever worked with. Questions are answered promptly and follow up is superb. Cons It was hard to get my customers to log in and see the process of the project. Many didn't have the time to even bother and check the project. Used the software for: ### "" March 28, 2013 4.0 I work for CMG Builders, Washington, DC and Delaware. Our company specializes in innovation and top of the line customer service. When I first signed on with CMG I discussed a project management tool we were using at the previous company where I was employed. I had been trained in project and Base Camp. I have found BuilderTrend to be a much better, user friendly program on both ends. The customer support was friendly, receptive and knowledgeable. After you see a few videos and other products, Co-construct stands above the rest. The ease of use for me and my team is amazing, and our clients love it. It is much more of a sales tool than I ever expected it to be. I am a horrible project manager, so I needed it to keep my projects straight but it has been much more than that for me. Over the years, we have tried different project management and scheduling software with not much success. We were introduced to Co-construct in 2012, and decided to give it a try. It has changed our business. Both our customers and project managers have embraced it, and not only is it a great tool for production, but it also is a great sales tool. We found we were making huge mistakes because of lack of communication or human error. We searched for selections software to make us more efficient, and along the way we discovered Co-construct. It allows us to keep track of client selections, schedules, budgets and helps us to communicate more efficiently with our clients and suppliers. It is a powerful selling tool. Clients are impressed with the level of professionalism that this software provides. They feel confident and secure that all their selections are recorded, that they can follow the progression of their budget and know exactly where they are headed. We love that we can communicate with our clients daily through Co-construct, and they are able to make decisions without going to the job sites. It saves time, both for us the builder, and for the clients (the future homeowner) when we can upload pictures of the process. We have several clients that live outside of the country and looking at moving to the greater Austin area, and Co-construct allows us to communicate with them without having to make long distance calls. Like any other builders, we were using spreadsheets and saving the customer's email. I was introduced to Co-construct about a month ago. Within two weeks, my project managers were using Co-construct for daily reports, and now we are ready to add clients and subs to our network. The help that we have been getting from the support team is great - they go extra miles to give us that support fast. This software is working for us, especially as they continue to improve and add more options.
