I'm such a believer of the software that any chance I get to share the benefits of PlanSwift with a subcontractor or vendor I do; many have purchased the software because of my enthusiasm for the product. Estimating has gotten quicker and easier using this program. There is no second-guessing if an area was included or not. I have been using it for the past three years. Before that it was pencil and excel. Now that I have applied Plan Swift to my take offs, my efficacy and productivity have increase over 35% year over year. " April 2, 2015 5.0 Our company has been using PS for 3+ years now and by far it's the most intuitive software for performing take-offs that I've used. I've used competing products since the late 90's and the ease of use and the length of time to train others is minimal. Before PS, all of our estimating / take-offs were done by hand. The customer support is great, they respond quickly to email questions and have easy answers. The estimators in the office are looking forward to having the ability integrated plan takeoff with estimating software. Sales Used the software for: ### "Great take off tool!" April 3, 2015 4.0 We do a lot of estimating for residential housing for people, and we needed something to do it faster. So we started shopping for a take off tool instead of doing it by hand. PlanSwift has been that tool for us. It takes time to get it set up, but once you do it is well worth the cost. April 8, 2015 4.0 We purchased Planswift last year and find it very helpful in completing accurate and timely estimates. We measured everything by hand utilizing a scale ruler which was not as accurate as Planswift. The software is so very easy to use and understand. With just watching a few videos on how to get started and a few clicks of my mouse, I was on my way. It was very easy for me to make them. I have been amazed at the joist tool and the way the assemblies work. I would like the hip tool to generate materials like the beam tool. Estimator Used the software for: ### "PLANSWIFT is top notch" April 2, 2015 5.0 PlanSwfit as a whole is the best takeoff system out. It is very easy to work with and learn. There are only two cons that I can think of for PlanSwift: 1. No cloud 2. Not compatible with Apple. Of course there are other systems out that have either one or both of the two cons, but it still doesn't compare or even come close to the PlanSwift. Review Source MB Melissa B. I love that it's so easy to switch back and forth when doing certain take off whether it's an area , a linear length, a segment , etcetera. I would recommend it to anyone who needs takeoff software. It is powerful to build the formula you want. There are lots of training videos on YouTube and very good online forum. Cons It cannot show more units on Report. Pros Easy of use for lower level functions. Quality graphics and great plug-in (add on $ features such as Google Map Takeoffs. Overall excellent product that I would purchase again. Cons Customer service is hit or miss. My experience has been wonderful (A+) on some interactions, but other interactions with customer service have not been as helpful.
