We also needed something that was preferably designed around the nature of our business, which is mining. Pros Very simple and easy implementation. The modular structure of the software makes it simple to implement in stages without excessive down time. It is also theoretically designed primarily for mining which is the industry in which our business operates. Cons Structurally the software requires a fair bit of customisation if used in jurisdictions with significantly different business rules to Australia, where Pronto was developed. Some of the non-Australian business rules proved difficult to implement.
