Having a robust yet easy to use platform to collect and manage user insights is key for any business to make data driven decisions. Not having to worry that the business decisions or changes made in the company are just lucky guesses is huge. Having a solid platform like Qualtrics makes it easy. Pros Easy to use yet robust. Always works. New functionality always being added. Cons There needs to be more open API integrations. Not many plan options for startups or small businesses on a budget. Pros Not only makes surveys but generates extensive and in-depth reports on survey data. My favorite part of it is that it takes out most of the effort involved with gathering and analyzing survey data, particularly market assessment. It also works seamlessly with other Qualtrics survey programs. I no longer struggle with making data based predictions. Used the software for: ### "A Survey Platform I Couldn't Live Without" September 23, 2016 5.0 As a college professor and researcher, I collect tons of data using online surveys, and I've used numerous platforms to do so. However, ever since discovering Qualtrics, I could never use another platform again. The flexibility is outstanding, with the ability to create not just any type of question imaginable, but to intricately structure surveys to achieve exactly what I need for any given research study. Even with this level of functionality, it's extremely user-friendly and easy to learn. My students are typically able to pick it up and design their first surveys after only a short lesson from me, and I find that learning new functions when I need them takes almost no time at all. When I do encounter issues or roadblocks, Qualtrics' incredible tech support team is only a couple of clicks away. Their friendly representatives respond extremely quickly, and offer detailed, personalized assistance for even the most complex questions. I couldn't be happier! The help team is available and ready to reply to complex questions. The data is always there, and does not get lost in the tangle of submissions like some other softwares. Cons This is hands down the best survey software. I do not have any words against it. It works the same as other software in measuring time, so if someone opens a survey and leaves it as a tab on their computer it may seem they took longer than they actually did. Review Source Paul N. Cons The report generation should be more intuitive and more standard reporting offered. Also Vocalise is great at showing people real time responses to your surveys. August 18, 2016 5.0 We use Qualtrics for a self-paced organizational training and laboratory self-assessments that we require all of our biohazardous agents users to take. We set it up to automatically send a certificate when respondents complete the necessary criteria. We use Office 365 for emailing and recently had issues with the email triggers not sending respondents the certificates of completion. Qualtrics Support responded immediately and was extremely helpful. The issue was resolve within the hour. Pros It's flexibility and ease of use. Pros I like that the questions are easy to understand and the rewards offered for taking the surveys. I also like the fact that they have a variety of topics. Cons I don't like the loading times and how long it takes. My cell data and wifi NEVER have issues. I take a lot of different surverys and the ones hosted by Qualtrics never fail to take forever to load and get through. It delivers to the needs of a wide range of users from someone completely new to research designing their first short survey to an experienced researcher programming a complex survey with advanced logic. Technology should be simple and human at it's core and Qualtrics delivers to that. Cons At times the software can be quite click intensive and repetitive. Cons There's a huge learning curve to fully understand how to create surveys due to the complexity of options in creating them. However, it is best used by professionals needing more professional analysis tools. Pros This is a very robust survey tool that can ask questions in a variety of ways and platforms. The analysis tools are far superior to the free survey programs out there. Cons It is so robust that a new user can struggle with its functions. Its very flexible and user friendly once you know how to use the platform Cons The platform is a bit complex for first time users and will require users to take their time in learning how to use it to create surveys and distribute them electronically. September 16, 2016 5.0 This software is easy to use and does just about anything you need it to. If you have any issues with figuring it out, the customer support is the best I've ever seen - easy to get a hold of, everyone is incredibly knowledgeable, they have always fixed my issues, and they even did things for me when I was unable to do them because I did not have access to a computer when my survey launched. Pros There are many options that are easy to use. It's a very smooth software system. Cons My biggest complaint is I can't get the tags to export as I would like them to when I use a matrix question.
