### "Easiest way to get custom market research quick"

Feedback is vital in today's world. Qualtrics enables a simple feedback loop for employees and customers alike.

Pros

Incredibly easy to build a survey, send it out, and start getting insights from your target market... within hours.

Cons

There is some advanced functionality that takes some getting used to. It's an incredibly robust product, but it takes some learning to understand some of the deeper features.

### "Robust, Yet User-Friendly, Online Survey Platform"

Pros

As a researcher, I've built my fair share of surveys. Qualtrics makes this process incredibly easy. With some minimal time invested, I was able to create surveys with complex skip logic, mixed variable inputs, and more. What's more, I was able to monitor when people were filling out the survey, how many surveys were currently open but incomplete, and I could automatically schedule surveys to open and close on certain dates. Once closed, I can download all of the survey results as .csv or .xls I can't imagine research without this tool.

Cons

This is a minor nitpick, and one that isn't entirely fair, given what Qualtrics set out to do. They aimed to create a simple, intuitive, user-friendly interface for creating and distributing online surveys. But the cost of simplicity is complexity - some more imaginative survey options aren't available. Further, Qualtrics, from what I've seen, doesn't offer descriptive statistics or rudimentary analysis of survey results. However, exporting the data into Excel, SPSS, or any other statistical software makes light work of this analysis, and Qualtrics never billed itself as an all-in-one tool.

Pros

I absolutely love using Qualtrics when I collect data because it seems like I can be as creative or complex as I'd like in my research/survey design and Qualtrics has the options to match. This software is also what I consider to be "intuitive" which makes developing and administering surveys so much easier (I don't have hunt down advanced options in multiple sub-menus). I also like the (relatively) new data and analysis options to do some quick/simple analysis within Qualtrics.

Cons

Sometimes the software lags and has "error" messages. This can be a bit annoying; however, it hasn't caused any true issues with my usage of the software.

As a new researcher, the Qualtrics survey software has not only been a valuable design tool, it has also contributed to my understanding of what I am doing with my project. I am not the most IT-literate person getting around, but the user interface is intuitive and simple to use. Those features that I was unable to use properly could be figured out using the tutorial information that is available. When I couldn't figure it out, the support staff you can ring were amazing - not only did they help me with the more complex programming I had to do, they first had to decipher my questions which were not always well communicated. They did all this with a sense of humour and a great attitude. I cannot recommend the software and the support highly enough.

Pros

Right from the start when I was learning to use the Qualtrics software, the design of the interface was intuitive and the ability to program a basic project could be understood in very quick time. The customer support has also been excellent.

Cons

At this stage of my usage of Qualtrics (i.e. still quite early), I have not found anything I dislike about the product.

scripting wise, it is very "handy" , i dont need to have enough scripting skill to produce a survey! comparing to other tools, i consider this as an end to end tool, all in one tool

I like the library, very easy to use. seems like all info are there easy to navigate, don't need to export the data and run the analysis to another software

Cons

cannot apply weights in crosstab (data and analysis tab) cannot customize/adjust the label size in reports

I would highly recommend Qualtrics. It's a great program, but the learning curve itself could be better for newbies.

Pros

I really like how comprehensive my questionnaires feel when using Qualtrics. It does an excellent job of separating my questions according to their topic/area.

Cons

There is definitely a learning curve for first time users when you pick up Qualtrics. It took some trial and error on my part to get it to where I want.

The technology is user friendly and the customer service is world class. I have colleagues and individuals from other industries always asking me about this technology. I have been able to increase my productivity and the quality of work deliverable with Qualtrics. My team has been able to accomplish much more than we could have imagined in such a short amount of time.

Cons

I'm a tough customer but this is one of the few products that I couldn't find any cons. I'm impressed.

Pros

This service is very comprehensive and can be customized to gather the specific data that you need. It can dig as deep as you want.

Couldn't recommend high enough.

Pros

Software has a lot of capacity and capabilities depending on your project's need. Simple enough for gathering scheduling information, to more complex question formats, including forms, ranking systems, etc. It has been incredibly useful on a number of projects and the tutorials are very helpful! additional note--Reports and Data visualization are incredibility helpful and time saving

Cons

There is a bit of a learning curve and sometimes have to use work arounds when gathering specified information. However, I think its built in a way to get you data that is reliable.

I was trying to import data from one survey to a copy. The support staff quickly identified the issue with the import (it was just a matter of getting the data structure from the copied survey instead of the original.) It took the support person a matter of 3 seconds to know what I was doing wrong. I was very happy to know it was just a user error. :D

Pros

It does exactly what I want. It's easy to identify how to implement the steps that the support person helped me with.

Cons

I couldn't figure out the issue myself.

### "Branding Research Survey"

I used Qualtrics for branding research where we needed to find over 200 participants to complete a survey. We had issues with questions being spelled wrong and we were able to go into the survey and change it quickly with no disruption of the data we were collecting to the software.

Pros

I liked how easy it was to create a survey, but also go in and change it once I have already submitted, published, and had survey participants. We had a couple spelling errors and missing questions that we could easily add in so that was helpful.

Cons

What I like least is the inability to format the survey to make it easier to read, the survey looks a lot longer than it is because of the design restriction which can make it hard to get people to take the survey we create.

It is easy to use and very intuitive. I also like that updates are made to the software based on feedback from the users. I have been told before when I asked about a feature that it would be turned in for future enhancements.

Pros

The software is easy to use and very intuitive. I love the library where you can learn to use any functionality within the tool. When I can't find answers in the library, the tech support area is available to help. The techs are always easy to understand and have always been able to resolve any questions that I have. I have used both email and telephone methods for tech support and have had superior results both ways.

As an end user I have answered many surveys. It’s easy to use. In some cases I have gotten the results instantly. My job also requires me to do surveys and I’ve not had a problem with the program. A seamless program that gives you results.

Pros

I’ve been using Qualtrics as an end user for my work and for others and it’s easy to use and the results have been quick.

Cons

I can’t think of anything to be honest.

Overall qualtrics has been easy to use and provides the basic functions, and more to conduct my research.

Pros

Qualtrics is really intuitive. I was concerned about it’s ease of use but generally every link and option In qualtrics either provides you with more information, allows you to test the option, or you get an opportunity to remove and try again. I like knowing that my survey questions are going to display properly for participants.

Cons

Qualtrics generally has served its function for me but what I think can be improved is its use with other software platforms. I just started using it with biometric software so I’m hoping that the trend between qualtrics and other software companies continues.

I really want to talk up the ease of use. I didn't even do the training videos and I was able to figure out the software works. As you continue to use the product, you find that you can use Qualtrics for more sophisticated, complex surveys

Cons

We used Qualtrics on a project and we were getting feedback from those that we never sent the survey to, which hurt our results. We thought that something was hacked
