They're knowledgeable and very patient! Cons There is no spell check. Also, the appointment system separating walk-ins from regular hours sometime makes it confusing to locate a patient. There are always new releases that make it better every day. We have learned multiple software products, and this is without a doubt the easiest to use. I use the reports feature on a daily basis, and it assists me with year-end reporting. The software rarely crashes and is easy to use for anyone. I love their product." July 30, 2015 4.0 The customer support is awesome. If you have a problem they can log in to your computer and fix it. This system is very cost efficient. Being in the cloud it is accessible anywhere. I love the way you can change the colors in the scheduler so you know what kind of appointment the patient is coming in for (initial, therapy-ind and family, med management). Pros Love how easy the system is to use, automated phone reminder, E-scripts,ease of billing Cons Sometimes if there is a technical issues it may take time to get a call back and there has been times where we left messages with them with no return call. I also like that I have a CS rep assigned to my account that I can email, call, or send messages via the software at anytime, and she is very prompt in taking care of any issues or concerns that I may have. I also like that we pay a monthly subscription and that updates are automatic. I have been using this program for several years and appreciate the updates. Their timeframe for response is usually about 60 minutes, which is great! I appreciate that I can access all the information about my schedule on NueMD. It's not too detailed to use, but it has enough detail to complete all our necessary procedures and billing. Cons At times, the response time for technical support can be somewhat lengthy, but that is usually when it references a report or data mining. It is very easy to understand and effortless to use. i would recommend this to any office. Pros NueMD is made for ease of use. I feel the color coding for different types of transactions makes it easier to visually determine what action may be needed next. Such as; insurance updates, payments received, or is the patient ready to be scheduled. I also feel the speed buttons make it faster to negotiate around the patient file; such as: am i updating insurance info, or do i need to add an a service to what was received, or do i need to add a memo. Cons They only thing i find for this product that i don't like about this product is in the financials. If you see a patient many times over the years the financial page can get very long. If there was a feature that once the ticket is closed it can be downsized or fan or cascade close. Giving you the option to review later or skip over intirely. Review Source AF Amanda F. I also like the ability of customization. Overall a good product. Cons I'm a little bit dissatisfied with the training. The problem isn't with the trainer, only wish there was more of it. There are so many aspects/ features that I still have yet to figure out. Also the program tends to freeze every time you hit save. When you are working in a fast pace doctors office, that can be really inconvenient. This product runs on Java and java programs tend to be tempermental. Review Source BP Brandy P. We love that you can access the program from anywhere which makes completing documentation, checking the schedule, and running reports a breeze. Wish the scheduling module would allow you to see all clinicians for a week at a time. Great preparation tool for the transition to ICD10!!! The customer service is excellent and always available. Cons Occasionally difficult to find items that have been uploaded within the specific client's file. It is also difficult to delete multiple appointments at once, which is tedious if a client discharges, moves, or discontinues and all future scheduled sessions need to be deleted. If they have a problem with a claim, they notify you immediately so it can be corrected and paid as soon a possible. Cons There is nothing that I do not like about this vendor or product. Cons After verifying insurance, if changes need to be made, it can sometimes be difficult to ensure the proper code/description if the insurance has changed; everything else is a breeze, though. And if I can't figure it out the help section is a great tool to reference back to. I have used many softwares over my 23 years in the medical field and this truly has been the easiest to move around in. September 18, 2014 5.0 Pros We went from an old program to NueMD and the transition was easy. It is easier to use and teach to staff. It made the transfer from a 13 year old dinosaur software to an updated cloud system seamless, without any lapse in payments.
