Pros

The ease of use is the first positive. Working with customer rep made setting everything up simple. We were able to use our own forms to build templates making record keeping user friendly.

Cons

I haven't had any to report at this time. If there was one thing I would call a con is the slight delay it takes to sign in each time.

This is my first experience with EMR and I am pleased to say 6 month out we are doing very well. At first, it was A LOT to take in and overwhelming at times, but with help from my trainer, Sherry Fincher, and the support team at Nuesoft I feel we made the right decision with choosing your company. We have already received our first incentive check and are working on 2014 now. I feel comfortable with all of the changes coming down the pike( e.g. ICD10, PQRS...) because you are all just a phone call away. The product is easy to use and able to be adjusted to ours needs. Thank you again.

### "Good Product, Easy to Access and Use"

Pros

The cloud based application and data storage makes accessing our client data easy and eliminates the need for us to have servers to store data on. There are reports that can be used to drive business decisions and follow up on administrative processes.

Cons

There are a few pieces of data that I wish were more accessible via reports. We're able to search to get the data but having a report would enable us to export the data and split a project among our admin staff. Using a search to find the data makes it a little more difficult.

Pros

Ease of use and reporting. Account manager is excellent and on top of things, and knows the priorities.

Cons

The phone app has very limited use - for example can't modify the schedule or capture payment for more than one unit

I started a solo practise and my biggest fear was billing headaches. An online search and some luck made me stumble on the Neumd site and I thought it was too easy to be true. I spoke with 2 prior users and then started using the system in my practise. Have no office staff and am able to complete the process mostly by the time patient walks out of the office. I have used it now for nearly a year and have had no headaches since the first day !!!

It was easy to learn. The support was great. I would recommend it highly. I had switched from Medisoft (which I would have had to buy a new version with 5010 standards and it was too much) and I was looking to find an Internet based practice management system for my billing company. I wanted an Internet based software system so I could have my father in another state help me with billing. I have a small company with less than 10 providers. I found Nuesoft. I used Nuesoft for 1 year and then I lost a major account due to provider going on medical leave. I could no longer afford it so I had to drop it. If I could have afforded to stay I would have. The customer service was outstanding. Whenever I had a question, I just called and they helped me. I loved the training module and I actually scored high on all the training modules, where Nuesoft was impressed. I thought it was a user-friendly system. It was easy to learn and also the reports were great. I did recommend one of my colleagues to you and she started using you and it still using you today.

Ease of us, less management at the front desk because of reminder features and patient portal.

Pros

I really like the functionality of the program and ease of you. My staff required none of the training provided by NueMD due to how easy it is to pick up! And whenever we have a question, my trainer is quick to respond with instructions. I like how you can have multiple provider columns and manage your individual view per user.

Cons

The only thing that comes to mind if I really think on it is the "reminder feature". I wish there was a way for the system to automatically send a reminder for a patient's first appt if they are doing multiple therapies.

### "Billing / Scheduling"

Pros

We are able to bill and schedule for our patients in one system. We do not have to go from system to bill and schedule.

Cons

After 4 diagnosis codes I wish we could tab or enter and continue on to the date to enter the tickets. Sometimes I only have 4 and it's a little frustrating to stop typing in the middle of a ticket to click to get to the next step.

Excellent product, very recomendable and it is easy to use to someone whom is not an expert in computers.

Pros

It is very easy to use and friendly. Also, have a reasonable price, I mean it is less expensive than others. The customer service is very efficient and answer your doubts quickly.

Cons

I don´t have any issues with this product, maybe some bugs that need to be fixed, but in overall it is a great product

Pros

I like that billing and scheduling can be done on the same product.

Cons

There are some issues with getting locked out of the system and having to restart. Also, there are some issues with billing not being sent to the insurance company, and it has to be resent again at a later date. I have not personally used customer support, but I was told by a co-worker that customer support would not help them without us paying. I do not think that it a good way for customer support to help it's clients.

This product has a very good cost and the training and implementation are very user friendly and intuitive. It has been a very pleasant surprise using this system. I have used some of the most expensive EMR systems in healthcare and in using this system have found the administrative aspect of it to be so much easier than most systems. Customer support is also very friendly and willing to assist. At times calls are not returned same day however when we do get that call back the staff is very willing to help in any way possible.

Nue MD is easy and effective to use. They are always quick on any support issues, and their system is not hard to use. It is easy to upload into their online filing system, to find patients, and to cross reference patient appointments.

After working on a "not-too-user-friendly" system at a large, corporate medical entity, NueMD was a vast improvement. I hit the ground running in a one-support-person office without training from the person who had previously held my position, and never looked back. I have to multi-task all day because no matter what else I have to do, the telephone rings constantly. Being able to check patient balances, appointments, and notes in the system one after the other in rapid-fire succession is a tremendous help, given my hundred other duties. My only issue with the program sometimes shutting down when I switch dates if I need to make a correction on a past appointment time or payment. Working on NueMD is one duty that I look forward to every day.

When searching for the overall best practice management software, your search should end with NueMD. I have used many practice management programs throughout the years and NueMD is overall the best I have ever used. The way in which the program is laid out makes it incredibly easy to use. Claims go out and come back paid accurately and timely. When claims are denied, NueMd has a feature that allows you to put the claim on hold so that it can get the attention it needs in order to get paid. NueMD is simply the best!

we used nue md at the beginning of our practice and it was very easy to use. we like the format of our lab results and how the medical records for each patient was printed.

Cons

the only thing we didn't like was that it didn't have a OB charting.

NueMD is great practice management software. It is affordable as a low monthly fee is charged based on the number of users. It provide security, totally HIPPA compliant allowing a provider to store medical records. Staff is friendly and reliable offering immediate help for problem solving. The only con is the constant update of Java which can be annoying but necessary to ensure the security, and allow for the constant update that NueMD provide for free to ensure regulation are adhered too.

I run a small clinic that was looking for a value-based electronic billing vendor. I was swayed by the sales pitch, but I have not been impressed with the system. The NueMD people are very nice but extremely disorganized. We have also had issues with receiving things as simple as the links to the training programs. The modular training programs seem to be more focused on selling you on the features rather than teaching you how to use those features, and the mastery tests don't test for mastery. Their price is reasonable but you have to sign up for a 1-year contract. We spent the first few months of that trying to make our way through their training, which we did not find helpful. The alternative was to hire their training coach, which is rather expensive. They don't mail paper claims. There is a lot of other stuff they don't do that we would like, but we didn't find these out until later. Everything considered, it could be worse. But you will get what you pay for.

Loved the initial training. Got me started, and was able to help me troubleshoot what I was doing wrong or could be doing better once I had been using it a few weeks. It is very easy to use, and I am able to utilize it to submit claims/post payments/generate statements throughout the day without sacrificing time for patient care. Since I use it throughout the day/week/month, I am able to generate statements/post payments throughout the month, so we have a steady stream of income.

The software is easy to use and very functional. I am not great with computers (I'm an old school therapist), but I can use the software without issues. It was easy to learn as well. The quality is very good.

Cons

Sometimes there are "glitches" connecting (but that may just be my internet provider).

Pros

It has comprehensive tools and and is easy to use. Once the initial data is entered, subsequent sessions are easy to bill. I only recently realized that I could have been saving myself hours on the phone by entering potential clients' insurance data into the system to get electronic reporting of their insurance coverage. Support has always been helpful and available, as promised. Considering the complexity of insurance billing, I'm certain that I would have had major headaches and chaos without a workable system like this one. I have known agencies that had a chaotic billing function, which could have been avoided with NueMD.

Cons

At times, the billing statement function was difficult to access. This was usually resolved with a call to Support.

Physicians, colleagues: Stay away from this company and EMR. They have customer service wait times that are excessive at best, take weeks to months to "review" things and do not fulfill their part of the contract. There are hidden fees and overcharges and you will be surprised each month. If it is working the billing works well, but if providers cannot write notes, freezes and restarts, NueMD will continue to bill you despite the program not working. Their customer service is ridiculously slow. I have been waiting a month for resolution and just today found a helpful person, but for such a large entity they do not respond well at all. Hope to update this review with something more positive but for now I cannot endorse....only warn.

Pros

The product is a great and simple product for those new and old to medical billing and coding. The software is a great product for Doctor as well, though our company mainly uses it for patient and charge entry. Checking eligibility is easy and quick and the services are great.

Cons

It's rare, but sometimes NueMD can be a bit slow. During the transition from ICD9 to ICD10 services were a bit slow for one day, but they picked up right away.
