Pros

Easy to use and I never have problems when using NueMD.

Cons

The fact that it is cloud based and if you use WiFi, you will at times have some freeze up. So, I would recommend that you have your own dedicated internet service to avoid these issues, although it does not happen very often.

Cons

The prices is a little steep for a web based system. We only use two features because of the price.

Pros

The software is fairly robust for our needs both for medical and counseling services. The product has more capabilities than we have used to date but we are growing into it in our Wellness Center! The vendor has been helpful in the setup phase and learning phase and is available for consultation quickly in our day to day work.

Cons

I don't think their manuals are clearly written but the staff is available for questions and directions.

I love the color coding and the ease of use. Usually with just one click of a button you can get where you need or back where you were. I do wish it showed more than just the last patient you worked with, if you have to leave one patient chart to look at another, you can not go back to the previous chart. Sometimes it makes it a little difficult to search by birthdate because the cursor moves on its own, but otherwise pretty user friendly and easy to use

Pros

The software itself is absolutely easy to use and comes with everything our Cardiology practice needs. NueMD contains highly customizable EHR templates, updated ICD's, and simplifies our patient encounter process. Our Cardiologist's take less time typing or dictating their reports and spend more face time encounters with their patient's. NueMD's software has improved our practice's overall efficiency and has added significant value. We are able to synchronize our ultrasound and nuclear imaging reports seamlessly to each patient's record and are able to correspond all encounters to referring MD's with breeze. Surprisingly, the best part about this product, is their support system. They are all very sweet, helpful, and accomodating!

Cons

None. The price is very competitive compared to other EHR software's. I'm amazed how other EHR vendors could charge more and provide less. NueMD definitely has the best value for one's buck!

Pros

It is very user-friendly. I can train a new employee in a matter of hours on the basic usage. I also love the fact that we can use the Claims screen to follow up on unpaid claims without having to print a report and pull up the tickets individually.

Cons

There are some things I would change about the reports. Also, I think the support could improve.

I have worked with many different Practice Management/Medical Billing Programs in the past and so far I have found NueMD to the best. It is very easy to understand and train new employees on. The “flow” from inputting demographics to follow up on a charge is great. The way that the program allows you to immediately locate “overdue” claims or “overdue” patient balances is one of its best features. It really allows me to feel confident in knowing what is still outstanding and it lets me have a good control over the “overdue” balances. Non emergent support questions are emailed to NueMD and I receive a response within 24 hours. Emergent/Urgent support is answered through online chat within 5 minutes. Any support issues that could not immediately be handled have always been resolved within a week. I have been using the product in my Medical Billing Service Company for almost 5 years now and continue to get great support.

Pros

There are several things that really stand out to make this a great product, such as its user-friendliness, the fast and thorough reports, and the training representative, who exceeded our expectations with training and customer service. I like that I can call and get a customer service representative on the phone - in person with very little wait time. The Billing/Financial feature stands out amongst its competitors with clean tracking and submitting claims and reports.

Cons

I would like the capability to fax straight from the EHR and the capability to turn encounters into letters. Uploading EHR files from an outside vendor takes entirely too long. We've been been waiting for over six weeks for the file transition.

I took over managing and billing for a departing employee. With only the book to guide me, I got thru NueMD without too many blunders! It is intuitive. There are things I think they could change, but I always see they are working on items. In addition to live support, there are plenty of videos to watch.

Pros

Layout is very nice, easy to follow thru. Many steps will fill in for you, and you can customize.

Cons

I enter charge tickets a day or two behind, it would be really nice if it kept the date in place so I would not have to remember to keep changing it! Reports take a long time to generate.

Our pediatric therapy clinic implemented NueMD 3 months ago. We were impressed with the personalized support through the implementation phase. Months later we are quite pleased with how standardized and easy the software is to use. NueMD has thought of everything when it comes to software features and user needs. Our therapists are enjoying the cloud based scheduling module and, as the clinic owner, I am more efficient than ever! NueMD has enabled me to focus on the critical few instead of the critical many!

Pros

The many time-saving features and reporting.

Cons

I would like to see the app updated with more of the web based features.

From day one the entire staff that we have dealt with has been friendly, professional , helpful and patient with me and my staff, they are very detail orientated and do what they say they wil in a very timely fashion. The fee they charge is small in comparison to the extra money they have helped us collect, excellent training and customer support!!

Pros

Relatively easy to use, very detailed program for billing and documentation , patients love the statements, and they really do help bring in more

Cons

Redesigning some of the documentation templates are slightly complicated, but gets easier with practice

NueMD was a mistake from the beginning but we kept trying to make it work. Inaccurate promises of thousands of documentation templates, poor customer service, inaccurate billing, poor scrubbing. Then we are blamed for inaccuracies!

Pros

We really did not see any positives at the end of the day.

Cons

Poor customer service. Always on hold or leaving messages. We are still waiting after months for billing to be corrected. May lose our business!

I have been using Nue MD for over 8 years. This program is user friendly. It has many features that meets our office needs. I have not had the chance to use the EHR system, as we had already have system in place before they came out with one. I would recommend this for any practice!

Very easy to learn. I found it to be very practical for use at a front desk. Once you had it down, it was very simple. I loved how you could generate reports easily and effectively.

Pros

The software is very comprehensive covering scheduling to billing to reports. As the primary provider in my practice, I have never done any online billing, so it wasn't the easiest program to learn. However, I find the more I use it the more proficient I become, and hence, the more features of the program I can enjoy using. Customer service is especially helpful whenever I get stuck. They are able to utilize remote access of my computer to actually show me how to operate a particular feature, which I find is the easiest way to learn.

Cons

As I stated above, for someone without a billing background, it takes a good amount of time to learn and easily use all of the features of NueMD's program.

Pros

I love that this software is user friendly. When I started my new position here I was afraid that it would take me weeks before I would know how to navigate NueMD. I was working on my own my very first day. By my third day I didn't need any assistance from my supervisor.

Cons

The system sometimes clocks. Not saying that this is a problem because all programs have their little glitch.

Easy to use but functionality is limited. Requires allot of screen changes to get all the infirmation you need.

Pros

Very good clearinghouse. Easy to learn and to document.

Cons

No easy function to print receipts for patients. Requires multiple screens to post payments from ERA. Very bad customer service.

Pros

Great prices: Priced a lot and this was the best around. EHR and PM Bundle: For that great price we got EHR and PM together. (billing not included) Great sales team, the sales team knew everything about our business and how to use this software with our specific use.

Cons

not so great at implementation not great customer support after purchase. When talking to the sales team they where knowledgeable about my specific line of business, that changed when we got into the implementation stage.

Nuemd system come with a working manual to help you work through issues or learn something about it. If you can't figure out the system by reading the manual customer service is always on hand to answer and help problem solve. The initial set up for your office can be program with all of your referral sources, billing codes etc...

Pros

the system is easy to navigate and customer service is easy to connect with. The system will allow you to register a patient, schedule, check in/out and billing in a few easy steps.

Cons

At this time I am not finding any cons to report.

Pros

This is a very easy system to learn , use ,and navigate around. We use it for our billing company and our doctors are able to sign in and check the status of their accounts at any time. It saves time for everyone! It also is great that there is a support link that you can instantly chat with them if there are any questions or issues.

Cons

to create specialized reports is a little confusing, but the support staff is awesome and always there to help!

The only bad thing is that it sometimes goes into safe mode too fast, but other than that I love it.
