Medical Practice Used the software for: ### "Excellent Product!" September 9, 2014 4.5 Pros I was a little skeptical when choosing an EHR product. I was worried about cost and how user-friendly it was. I have been very satisfied while using NueMD. I had a trainer that worked one-on-one with me to answer any questions; they have a great chat support, and my trainer is still willing to answer my questions. It has been a great choice for me! Cons There are a few little things that would be nice to add, like being able to print a patient statement within a certain timeframe even though the insurance company has paid. It allows for easy charge entry by the billing service or directly by the provider. Batch claim submission is a "one-click" process. ERAs integrate into the system with ease. With the full electronic capabilities, claims are submitted and paid very quickly. It has great functionality with patient statement submissions. Cons Some of the reporting features could have more abilities by allowing for more details in practice trends. Default reports and statements cannot be changed to suit the practice. Technical support is good also. But their customer service is unacceptably NOT helpful. You will always be put on hold for way too long and once you actually talk to someone they are not helpful. There seems to be a disconnect between this department and the rest of the company. I guess when you have software this good you do not have to nice or helpful. The clearinghouse is built-in. It's easy to navigate through patient accounts. The information to follow up on accounts is on one screen. If we had a question or an issue the response time was quick and problems were fixed. The product itself is very easy to navigate. I love how you can easily transition between tasks. The ability to utilize tech support at the click of a button is a great function. This is hands down the most user friendly software I have seen. Cons I do not like how when typing in a diagnosis/CPT code the program starts to auto populate. We have claim denied because we did not catch the fact it was populated with the wrong code. Every time we call customer support, when they decide to respond, they tell me it's our internet bandwidth so nothing they can do. We're dropping this company as soon as the contract is over. We have been with NueMD for over four years now and could not be more satisfied. Anytime we have a problems, which is rare, the customer service team is awesome at helping us get the problem fixed. I was not formula with this software NueMD and after my first day on the job with this product, found it to be user friendly and was able to maneuver and learn this software with ease in one day. Its a great tool to have in a billing office and would recommend this software to any new and upcoming office. I like the fact that the information is available to me when i need it and do not have to open a number of different screens to get to the information i need ... Thank you. This program has colorful icons that are very helpful in selecting reports. Cons The financials summary page could be presented in a way that is easier for the patient to read and understand. Administrator Used the software for: ### "I have used Nuemd Practice Management for over 10 years." November 3, 2015 5.0 Pros: User Friendly, Convenient, Reliable and Affordable. I love the fact that you can check your schedule on your IPhone/IPad or Android device. Training a new employee on Nuemd is quick and easy because the software is very user friendly. Nuemd is consistently available and we have not experienced downtime unless it is scheduled maintenance and even then it is during times you are not usually using your system. Nuemd has a terrific ICD10 crossover making coding so much easier! Cons: I would like to see enhanced features with custom forms. Nuemd can print custom forms for you but the features are somewhat limited but still useable. Their system was really easy to learn. It didn't require any software downloads so it could be accessed anywhere. Customer service was excellent. They prices are very affordable. It provides efficient and professional record keeping that is environmentally friendly. We can customize the software to meet our needs. It's much easier to learn than I expected. It reduces demands on the clerical staff for scheduling clients' appointments since every provider can do that from their office. The system is easy to learn and understand. I have used other systems in the past for documentation, but prefer the ease of NueMD. I have had an issue with a glitch in the system, but customer service was willing to work with me to figure out what happened and to resolve the issue. I would recommend NueMD to anyone who asks. MD Used the software for: ### "Awful customer service- don't use their billers!" April 7, 2016 3.0 We switched to NueMD solely for ease of use with PracticeFusion and have been sorry ever since. We use their billing services and have gone through 2 billing companies so far, both of which are disinterested, slow to respond to email and full of excuses as to why claims are not being followed up. We had a FANTASTIC biller when we were with Kareo- will be switching back. Trying to call customer service is an exercise in futility. I wish there had been a platform for reviews when we signed up so that we could have been spared what is going to be another huge project in switching billers yet again. Review Source EK Eve K. I also love having an app to review my schedule and my co-workers for upcoming days. Cons Unable to double book in slots is possibly my biggest complaint which really isn't a complaint!
