Overall it has been very positive. It gives me what I need without overcharging. I recently restarted the service and had to call customer support to get it going, but that was still relatively painless.

Pros

Alchemer provides an online survey platform that has all of the functionality you need at a much lower price point than its competitors. It is flexible and intuitive to use. It also allows you to suspend your account without deleting your old surveys.

Cons

There is not a lot I do not like about Alchemer. I was thinking about using the translation feature for a survey and increased my subscription level, but then realized that I did not need that feature and could go back to Collaborator.

It is a solid platform. They deliver exactly what we need. Whenever we encounter a challenge they respond and make it clear they are working on a solution.

Pros

It works. It has the functionality our research shop needs. Customer service is largely responsive. Their pricing model is brilliant - full transparency, one seat - one fee - no surprises, no worrying that a large-scale project will kill your budget.

Cons

I value innovation and I don't see much. I am sure they are doing things, but their marketing is basic and uninspiring. I'd like to hear about big new things happening, offerings that wow, amazing new UI updates, or fun AI integrations. They offer no way for us to offer the platform to our clients - they literally shut the door on turning their customers into partners - zero opportunity for us to be a force multiplier for them. <- That seems shortsighted.

Excellent. Plus any time I needed support (queries) they were on it ....and it was via real people - so was both personal and professional. That type of support is getting rarer....unfortunately. I keep up with, and monitor, all SASS tools...and I use many of them, and this is still one of my favourites.

Pros

Simple to use, unlimited responses, even on a basic plan. There are some features I might aspire to on a higher cost plan, but the basic plan is superb.

Cons

There is no least favourite, it has excellent features, even on over basic plan. I have been using this survey software back to its Survey Gizmo days, and it just keeps improving.

As a researcher, we usually engage market research agencies to run surveys for us. When it comes to in-house research, we tend to struggle with the easily available online platforms like Typeform or MS forms which do not provide good routing capabilities to meet our needs. After exploring a few self-serve survey platforms, Alchemer stood out with its intuitive platform where I can get hands on really quickly and their email customer service is able to respond clearly on the support that I need too.

Pros

The intuitive platform, good value compared to other platforms in the market and the extensive training materials online.

Cons

Would be great to have live support for Singapore / Asia services. Currently we can only rely on the email support which may require a few hours of turnaround time.

After testing multiple leading platforms, both those built for large-scale enterprise and smaller niche offerings, we settled on Alchmere because it offered the right amount of power without overloading users, respondents, or governance.

Pros

Alchmer is powerful and value for money. We use it because it can support the complex needs of a professional insights consulting agency while also delivering an attractive and easy-to-use experience for our respondents, and providing accessibility and integrations that make it efficient in supporting our clients.

Cons

Like other platforms on the market, there is room for improvement in adopting new approaches to question designs that can improve engagement for mobile device surveys and ease of open-text coding for large responses and surveys.

Overall, 10/10. This does the job and has exceeded my expectations as far as range of features goes.

Pros

The ability to customize survey questions with various logic and filters makes a significant difference for our specific needs.

Cons

I can't really say that I have any issues with Alchemer. I think sometimes I struggle to remember how to set up reports, but that's not the largest issue. I guess, I'm not super familiar with the customer support processes that are in place, but I'm eager to learn more. :)

Generally very positive, with the platform being used regulalry for survey management and data reporting, across a wide sector of our organization.

Pros

The ability to customize surveys, and leverage the platform from an enterprise level across the organization allows for easy sharing of analytics and reporting data.

Cons

Some of the user interface and functionality isn't as intuitive as you would hope for with regards to building, monitoring and exporting data analytics.

Pros

Alchemer is super easy to use, and is a great survey tool! It's very intuitive, and makes getting feedback almost effortless!

The simplicity of building surveys is amazing. The interface is user-friendly, and it's not hard to learn.

Cons

I wish they had panel management. From the market research perspective, it's valuable to have a survey builder and a database to store participants' info, track their participation, etc.
