While there are areas that could be more user-friendly, the insights and operational control I gain outweigh the frustrations. For anyone serious about fleet management, it’s a solution that earns its place.

Pros

Verizon Connect has given me real peace of mind when it comes to managing vehicles and people in the field. I can see where assets are in real time, track routes, and quickly understand what’s actually happening day to day instead of guessing. The reporting is detailed and makes it easier to hold drivers accountable while also improving efficiency and safety. I appreciate how reliable the GPS tracking is and how much control it gives me over operations without needing constant check-ins.

Cons

The biggest challenge for me has been the learning curve and overall complexity of the platform. There are a lot of features, which is great in theory, but it can feel overwhelming and not always intuitive at first. Some reports take time to customize, and I’ve found that making small changes isn’t always as quick as I’d like. Pricing can also feel high, especially for smaller teams, and customer support responses can be inconsistent depending on the issue.

Overall, our experience was mediocre. When trying to reach support, it was very difficult and took weeks to get a response.

Pros

I liked the ease of tracking vehicles. The main screen made it super easy to track a vehicle's route.

Cons

Overall, Verizon Connect was more expensive than other companies'. Support became a huge issue as well.

terrible, have been trying of a month now to get our account rep to call us about problem, so far nothing. dont get tangled up with this company.

Pros

only pro might be they do have a good computer cloud base program. easy to see tracking assets when they sometimes check in.

Cons

we have 14 asset trackers on semi trailers. have been trying to get this to work for 2 years now. But their trackers stop working at about 20% per month. They just dont read anymore. talk with customer service and go thru the trouble shoot procedure and then they send a new one., in which you have a 50% chance of that one working. and they just keep charging you every month if it works or not.

Overall 7 out of 10. Their installers are horrendous, leaving wires dangling, but they are 3rd party and not Verizon direct. The desktop site makes tracking and IFTA easy

Pros

Ease of use with the desktop version combined with the app allows us to track assets. It also integrates directly with TruckerTools and TruckBase

Cons

The app is sometimes glitchy and does not show all changes made in the desktop. This can lead to confusion

Verizon connect is overall good software, a HUGE improvement over J.J. Keller software.

Pros

Live Map view is a very useful tool, great for monitoring driver locations.

Cons

The mobile app. The app works but has a lot of issues accurately displaying information to the driver.

Verizon Connect is a ok ELD, GPS Tracking, and Dispatch system. The price after your promotional rate is great. But once you are out of your promotional rate the product is over priced for what is offered compared to other platforms. The key is customer service and the tech support is not good, they are not fast to fix or correct issues within there system or products.

Pros

The platform is easy to use, user friendly, easy to set up.

Cons

The customer support, tech support is not the best and they are not in a hurry to fix issues once there is a tech issue or issue within the system. There system has a lag in the GPS tracking system.

TRACKERS WOULDNT WORK. WOULD NOT CONNECT TO SATELITE TO TRACK VEHICLES. THEN THEY WOULDNT CANCEL THE CONTRACT

The product itself wasn't too bad, but dealing with the support team was a nightmare most times. Our "dedicated" account manager, wasn't so dedicated to our account. I had to go back and forth with issues with them over the course of 5 months.

Pros

The layout of the Portal is the most user friendly portal I've ever used. Everything is so accessible and organized.

Cons

Customer Service. When something goes wrong, they take an eternity to respond, and sometimes, they will close your trouble ticket before they remedy the situation.

Poor customer service. Changed sales person every three months. Hard to get a tech on the phone to fix problems.

Pros

Their reports are detailed and easy to run. Connection to vehicle is great because the device is hardwired into the unit.

Cons

Their pricing is a little high. The years required for thte contract is a lot. Also when you order more equipment it starts a new contract.

Pros

The fleet monitoring was excellent and combined with its other features such as environmental protocols, and asset tracking.

Cons

I felt that the Workplan software had issues but they usually were resolved fairly quickly. It could be a hinderance for some.

Unsere allgemeine Erfahrung mit Verizon Connect war enttäuschend. Obwohl das System viele moderne Funktionen und ansprechende Dashboards bietet, war die Zuverlässigkeit der Informationen mangelhaft. Fehlende oder fehlerhafte Daten machten die Nutzung oft ineffektiv und führten zu erheblichen Schwierigkeiten im operativen Einsatz.

Pros

Verizon Connect bietet viele moderne Dashboards und Ansichten mit zahlreichen Möglichkeiten, die grundsätzlich positiv sind. Doch all das wird unbrauchbar, wenn der Inhalt fehlerhaft oder unvollständig ist, was bei uns definitiv der Fall war.

Cons

Während unserer sechsmonatigen Zusammenarbeit gab es erhebliche Probleme. Die technische Beratung war extrem unzureichend, da bei jeder einfachen Frage Rücksprache mit Experten in Holland gehalten werden musste. Diese Rückfragen betrafen keine komplizierten oder wissenschaftlichen Themen, sondern grundlegende technische Details. Besonders besorgniserregend war, dass uns in dieser Zeit drei Bagger gestohlen wurden. Trotz installierter GPS-Sender konnten diese nicht wieder aufgefunden werden, da die Geräte zu einfach demontierbar waren und die Störmeldungen nicht zuverlässig übermittelt wurden. Erschwerend kam hinzu, dass die Funktion der Störmeldungen völlig unzuverlässig war. Schon bei kleinsten Funk- oder Stromunterbrechungen erhielten wir innerhalb von 60 Minuten über 120 Störmeldungen, was eine sinnvolle Überwachung unmöglich machte. Die Installationen wurden zudem von drei verschiedenen Subunternehmern durchgeführt, deren Monteure weder Deutsch noch Englisch sprechen konnten. Dies führte zu erheblichen Kommunikationsproblemen und beeinträchtigte die Qualität der Montagearbeiten erheblich. Insgesamt eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung.

Horrible customer service. They will charge you for equipment you never received, and when you terminate your service even after contract is up - it will take up to 6 months for someone to finally take care of it. I would never use or call Verizon Connect again for anything. Sales reps are unresponsive unless you are buying something and customer support has no clue what they are doing with out someone giving you a call back and waiting on hold for 30-45 min. Horrible.

Pros

Verizon makes it so easy to view our fleet status at all times. Especially working at a coop, this has been a game changer for efficiency and real-time updates for the coop and our members.

The customer service has not been the greatest compared to other vendors we work with.

Pros

We love the real time GPS tracking its a very useful tool. No downtimes so far and its been very user friendly .I'm not that tech savvy so that i need all the help that I can get.

Cons

My distracted driving tool alerts sometimes when I'm not actually distracted .I don't really have any complaints about the Verizon connect.

Pros

The app was pretty convenient. I could check in on things even when I wasn’t at my desk.

Cons

Honestly, the biggest issue for me was the customer service. It was really hard to get timely help when I needed support, and sometimes the reps didn’t seem familiar with the system.
