Cons I still struggle a bit with creating reports, but FM University has helpful tips when creating a new one. A change was made to the system a couple of months ago and they FMS support can't seem to fix the problem. Currently as the system right now I would not recommend. Pros I don't have any Pros about the system. It does just enough to get by, but it works slow. I might would not be so disappointed if it was not so slow to use. Cons It is very slow. It is frustrating trying to even assign work as it takes so long for changes to be made. Saves can take as long as 15-20 seconds and even longer at times. It has a very old feel of an interface. There are way to many fields that are not needed that make the interface take up the entire page. It is not customizable. Reports can not be customized by the administrator. Yes you can export but even then if you choose export it exports the entire page of data instead of a way to select. The only reason the product was chosen was because of space planning part and it included the maintenance part and it was the product at their previous location. It was selected by someone who had never used maintenance specific system. The broad model of the application is based on a few fundamental ideas in facilities management, and everything else (including space, maintenance, real estate, etc.) may be added from there. Although the space management system was an excellent tool, it still required certain additional capabilities, such as mobile phone compatibility Pros Single dash board with ease of configuration is the thing which i like the most in this software, Ability to Quickly respond to inquiries about space, such as how much room a particular department has or which departments are housed in a building. When we were using Aperture, it was difficult to extract data from the programme. Cons The reporting was a little difficult to create and customize for the planners, facilities management leadership, and data analysts, therefore that job had to be done inside of MS SQL server. We had an endaevour underway that required a full rethinking of space and how to report and analyze it, and the product support team did not respond to our requests for new reporting and open office templates quickly enough.
