protract is a computer software program for warehouse personnel staff. Aka forklift drivers. The software when you walk into it. It will check how many items are stocked or are put away. In 8 hours day time. It then takes a average or percentage based on your daily performance if you are 0 percentage or higher than apparently you are doing their job correctly. If you are at a negative percentage it gives the supervisor a chance to go over it with you. The problem with ProTrac is it only shows you the time you clock in to the time you clocked out. Then it give you a percentage of the work needed it done versus the work you did do. Problem with these computer software efficiency program is it doesn't take into account the reality and the real facts of life. These software program should be done away with to keep track of delivery warehouse forklift driving any type of activity that involves a moving vehicle. The ProTrack provides no activity tracking whatsoever. It only offers a percentage of what the work says you could have done.
