Pros: When I started working, I was first introduced in using "Business Link" whenever we have client calls or conference bridge calls, and I thought that is already a great application used for conferences. However, when I transferred to Conduent (formerly known as Xerox) from Convergys, I now use WebEx Meeting Center whenever I do client calls, and conference calls with team members spread throughout the globe, and it surpassed my expectations.

I or we (in the company) never had any problems using WebEx Meeting Center. WebEx Meeting Center is an easy to use software that lets you connect with people all around the globe at once without any worries of line interruption, inconvenient dialing-in process, and downtimes.

WebEx Meeting Center lets team members record conference meetings and training, and this is very helpful since it provides us a video or file that we can cling to just in case we want to review what transpired on the call.

Its video capability is also beneficial for me as a workforce manager since I can assess non-verbal cues of my clients, subordinates, and bosses.

Cons: This software is very convenient to use, and I think I can't ask for more, and I never had any problems using this software so I guess this is N/A for me.

Overall: WebEx Meeting Center is the best software out there that is good for companies with 10,000+ employees. It is seamless and is easy to use. Never had any issues using this software!

Pros: What I like most about Webex is just how generally good it is. Of all the business applications that are used in my organization, Webex is one that I've come to trust that it will always be working, and working well. It is easy to use, and the quality of the calls are top notch. Our organization uses a number of web conferencing services, including some that we host internally on our own infrastructure, and I often recommend Webex over our own internal service as it is just that much better in terms of quality. Despite the fact that it lives outside our network, I have never noticed any bandwidth or performance issues, and this is saying something considering that our internet link is notoriously inadequate. Of the variety of external services that we do use, I've found that some are often finnicky or don't work, but Webex works 100% of the time. It is my go to for large scale meetings where quality and reliability are of the utmost importance, because I know that it will deliver.

Cons: One gripe I've always had with Webex are some of the quirks surrounding audio. For one, the functionality where call in users are linked with their web sessions is pretty weak. While you can certainly do that, I've found that people don't really understand how it works, and we typically end up with about 75% of call in users who are not linked, which can make it really difficult to figure out who is speaking. Improving that process would definitely enhance the experience. Also, integrated audio and teleconference audio do not seem to link, which is a bit odd and annoying,. it would be great to bridge those two audio services, so that all users can hear each other, regardless of which audio option they are using.

i found Cisco webex meeting centre a wonderful tool, it is very easy to schedule meetings.

Pros: it is awesome tool. it is very easy to schedules meeting with this . we can integrate its plugin with out outlook and can schedule meeting in one click.
we can.we can record the current meeting going on which is very good option. it provide screen sharing option on single or extended desktops as well. Voice quality is good as it consume very less bandwidth. We can chat with the meeting participants to everyone and individual as well.lightweight software.integrated audio, video and content sharing is awesome. it can be installed on multiple platforms i.e. mobile, pc tablet, mac etc.

Cons: there is limitation like if we have large number of user wanted to join the webex meeting room then it will restrict us and also when we have a big team and persons start joing the meeting then initially we get disturbances from software and face difficulties in hearing them clearly but yes after some time it will became smooth.. Lack of emoticons and smileys. it is little more pricey as compared to others like slack or zoom. and license renewal as is costlier.

Overall: i can schedule my meeting in One click using this. We use WebEx daily for meetings with potential customers, vendors, and for support.

Pros: WebEx Meeting Center is a feature complete webinar solution that integrates well with our various tools. We use it in conjunction with Outlook, Cisco Jabber, and our Cornerstone LMS. The interface is pretty straight forward for most users and their audio communication tools are robust. We have very few connection issues and have found user adoption to be very good. Because of our integrations, we do not use the WebEx Meeting portal often, as everything can be setup in the other platforms. With that said, I have used the portal before and it allows users to access everything they need. Overall, it meets our web meeting needs.

Cons: I have two issues with WebEx... First, the user their own proprietary file format for meeting recordings. This makes it incredibly difficult to convert videos to a common .mp4 or .wmv format. They provide users with a conversion tool, but it is incredibly slow and confusing for end users. I have used other meeting tools that record in .mp4 and download easily. I wish WebEx would do the same. Second, browser plugins are a pain. Each browser requires a different add-on or plugin to launch a meeting. Once installed, things work well, but it is troublesome having to download these prior to launching a meeting.

Overall: WebEx allows us to connect with each other in a fairly simple and feature complete way. Using integrations with Outlook, Jabber, and our LMS, users have rapidly adopted the service for their daily work. It also aids with software support in some instances.

Pros: The UI is very intuitive and great. It doesn't require the client to be installed on the local machine and one can access it simply from the browser. It also provides the feature to record the voice and video calls for the purpose of revisiting later or sharing with the members who could not attend the meeting. It also allows to set up different rooms for different set of audiences for a particular seminar or a conference. It also gets integrated with Outlook through a plugin which makes setting up Webex meetings as easy as setting any other meeting using Outlook.

Cons: It requires a very high bandwidth for presentations and content sharing to work effectively. This is a little weird as most of the other competitors like BlueJeans are able to provide high quality content sharing even at a lower bandwidth. I have also faced issues with a black screen appearing when someone switches to full screen mode while presenting or sharing this screen. This gets fixed once they exit full screen mode. This type of basic issues are expected to be fixed by one of the oldest players in the industry.

One of the oldest and best meeting tool.

Pros: I have been using Webex since long time now, setting meeting, joining meeting through remote systems is very easy and convenient.
I have also used android version of Webex meeting center, it works seemsless while travelling or working remotely.
Screen sharing quality is excellent.
Webex meeting cloud recording is exceptional too.
Setting a webex meeting is just a click on microsoft outlook, it sets up the link to access, access phones, access codes, passwords etc...
Meeting recording can be auto saved to cloud and intimated the link through a mail or message.
Call quality does not go down even when 100+ attendee are present in call.

Cons: Though it's a very good tool but my company moved to Slack, Zoom and now Microsoft Teams, probably competitors application is not welcome any more.

Need to make it bit more user friendly, new user need to spend more time knowing how it works.
Sometime there is conflicts when remote user join from computer audio and phone audio.

Pros: Employees within the organization can register and have individual webex address created. With Webex address one can easily setup meetings with several folks across and sometimes even outside the organization. The Webex addin for Microsoft Outlook is a very good plugin which allows to insert the webex address easily and also can have personal web rooms created on need basis. In Webex, one can easily record the meetings if the feature is enabled, generate the reports after the meeting. Track the meetings scheduled, join multiple meetings at the sametime.

Cons: Recently the webex has improved a lot, sometimes there will be issues with the Webex Microsoft addin which does not allow one to insert the webex address directly within outlook. Also, sometimes there are cases when even after starting the webex, the room is not opened or we see 'Notify Host' though webex is started. also, rarely there are little disturbances during the meetings.

Pros: GetApp's list of features on this product is WAY off. This is a fantastic product. My List: - Button-click when scheduling a meeting from within Outlook. Handles recurring meetings effortlessly, even changes to a single occurrence. Also handles moves to an existing meeting seamlessly, and totally in the background. - Automatically inserts out Web, and conference line info - Users can join via Web, then call in or use VOIP. - Mobile apps work well - Allows pausing what users see. - Recording and can sending to recipients, download and convert, etc. - Sharing others' screens so you can see them. You can request to drive their screen; great for remote training. - Whiteboard feature Support includes Phone, Online , Knowledge base, and Video

Cons: - I with the mobile app would know about any Webex meeting to which I've been invited, not just my own. Go To Meeting does this, even if you're not a paid subscriber.

I use WebEx to join business meetings remotely.

Pros: The way the conference dial-ins are structured make this conference line easier to use than any others I've had experience using. The conference service gives you a specific unique participant dial code and a leader code. It makes it so easy to set up and launch conferences. Other services switch up the #s every single time so you lose consistency and can only have one meeting live at a time. It makes it tricky when meetings bleed over and people are still chatting but you need to launch your next meeting.

Overall: The ability to dial-in to any conference and lead virtual meetings easily - even for those on the road!
The assigned dial in codes make it easy to put the codes in meeting invites with the number format as such: xxx-xxx-xxx,,xxxx#. This is a trick for those using the conferencing service internally and dialing in from a smart technology such as a phone where the dial in can be used as one link and the phone automatically follows the prompt. Easy driving and dialing with just the push of ONE link. It's amazing!!!

Pros: WebEx is a reliable tool which we use to collaborate and to move projects forward faster, it helps us to work as a team from in real-time sharing of applications, files etc. A feature that we find helpful for WebEx meeting is that it offers integrated audio, video, and file sharing. What impresses me even more with WebEx now is that with its last update it now allow users to call through the computer in itself, as opposed to having to dial in with a phone or landline, very good upgrade. And I like that it has an app for your android phone you can setup and use

Cons: The file transfer can be a little slow at times, be patient. Ensure that you proxy is allowed to have users access WebEx, may require that a port is open to access WebEx voice chat as some VPNs and proxies may deny access without proper setup. Try to use chrome it works better with chrome in my opinion.

Pros: Excellent application to give lectures and presentations, good management when you have many people connected, you can record the entire presentation, it is fast, the connection for the attendees to the meeting is simple. When used as a remote support application, after granting permission (conrol of the session) there is no need to refresh the session and it remains until the support is closed, the entire remote support session is recorded.

Cons: Depending on the scanner and the internet speed that the client handles, it can be slow, there are old computers where the application although you manage to enter the green screen is shown and you can not take control of the equipment.

Overall: Excellent support application, allows the client to leave and observe everything that is done. At the level of application to make a conference it is excellent programming the activity and taking control of the whole presentation.

Pros: WebEx is the most widely used presentation software on the market today. It's very user friendly and you don't need a technology degree to figure out how everything works. I've never been kicked out of an meeting or had issue with getting and staying connected. With the Cisco brand behind it, WebEx is the 900 pound gorilla and it shows. Very reliable.

Cons: Sometimes if a customer using an outdated browser and has to download software to get WebEx working can be frustrating and time consuming. I've also found that Google Chrome works the best with WebEx and Firefox isn't bad either. It's Internet Explorer that can be a pain and I've never had really great success will people using Safari. This is a CON for all presentation software systems like this, but I've found WebEx's software and user experience can be more troubling to install then the other competitors out on the market.

Overall: I like WebEx and you will also. It's reliable and backed by Cisco who makes sure everything is running smoothly. WebEx helps me close business and helps me do my job quickly and more effectively. WebEx helps me prequalify candidates before my sales team books a trip to a potential new client site and this process helps my company save money. It's more expensive then the others out on the market, but you get what you pay for.

Pros: WebEx makes it really convenient to schedule meeting. It has options to also record a meeting with persistent access which makes it convenient to review a meeting after it has finished. The sample interface to share screen and dial in to the meeting along with proper shortcuts in place make the interface really intuitive and easy to use. The options to either syncup up audio through laptop or call in using a dedicated line also make it very useful. The mobile app also helps is attending meeting remotely.

Cons: When we share the screen, there are no options to pick the screen to share when you are extending displays. In a work environment, invariably I use multiple monitors and the restriction to only have the sharing option available through the primarily display make the experience restrictive.

Overall: Very convenient meeting organizing and web sharing application.

Pros: * It gives the user the flexibility to use it from a smartphone a PC or a tablet
* From your home or wherever you are with a smart device and internet connection you can create your video conference or voice call through one of the most secure network platforms in the market (created by cisco networks).
* The options of sharing contents, screens, files and even applications through the cloud with any of the participants of the meeting is incredibly useful and easy to use.
* It can be prevented from accessing or giving access to specific participants.
*It has multiple forms for the use of video on the screen. Complete, average, screen, different types of pointers allows to divide the screen into video and files.
* Wbex has a large number of external applications that can be integrated depending on the version purchased if it is premium or not

Cons: is an excellent application for remote conferences with incredible utilities like file sharing and apps in the cloud, but most of these functions are only available for premium packets

Overall: Thanks to this application I have been able to maintain an efficient communication with my clients and with my work team regardless of my geographical location.

Pros: Cisco WebEx is one of the popular collaboration tools which is around since long. The hosts of the meeting can record audio and on screen presentations. All participants can use the chat feature. At the time of the meeting, the host has the option to share desktop, a file or video. Virtual whiteboard feature for sketches and notes is also available. All the features can be used simultaneously with the video.
The hosts can protect the meetings with a password. When compared to other similar services video conferencing has many advanced features and seamless. Mobile apps are available for Android, iOS, Blackberry, Windows Phone, Apple watch and other android wearables. Microsoft outlook plugin is available to schedule meetings from outlook directly.

Cons: For the audio connection, one can use WebEx audio (VoIP), another teleconference service, or none. Cisco WebEx Meeting Center doesn't offer its own dial-in conferencing. If one want to use another teleconference service, one can input the dial-in number, moderator, and participant codes, and any notes one would like to include; all of these will then be displayed in the invitation.

Pros: I work with both the Webex meeting and event center. Meetings are relatively easy to set up and share out the dial in/log in information. I did research on other providers, but we stuck with Webex. It's still my favorite.

Cons: When you have people register for an event and registrations need to be approved; now the number of registrants is hidden. You have to click view status. Since I set up multiple events at the time I have to click "view status" for every webinar and I think it's a waste of time. I asked why it was changed and if they'd consider changing it back to the way it was since it's not user friendly; but the answer was "no". I assumed/upgrades were supposed to make software better/easier to use... apparently not.
I do like to work with Webex; I do not like their customer service. It's not a cooperation like with other companies. Webex will tell you what to do, or apologize if they were wrong; but they don't accept suggestions; they don't really want to hear if you don't like their new feature.

Overall: Not sure which benefits ... We pay for a service and it works. You can depend on it.

Pros: It is a easy software to use. Easy to set up the meetings and share with others. You have functionalities to share the screen (you can select to share the complete screen or a specific program), allow the people to annotate in the screen, share video. If you are the host of the meeting you can mute anyone and the other participants can raise a hand to get the attention. Also has an embedded chat. I strongly recommend this software, it is your best option to innovate your meetings.

Cons: To be honest until now I have not found cons, WebEx meeting has all the tools needed to have a complete meeting.

Overall: + Save time and money.

Pros: Excellent meeting application, when you make presentations of the changes in the system is perfect. It is very good to support, the client feels safe because everything is recorded and you can pass the recording. It is very safe because it is the client who gives you access privileges when granting control of the equipment.

Cons: File transfer is limited. Meeting scheduling is not easy to do. When I have requested some kind of support or information comes from the storage capacity (which may be reaching the limit), the deal is not very cordial.

Overall: The meetings and remote supports are made without much complication because the application responds quickly once you enter the connection, it is very stable and secure. The mobile application works correctly

Pros: I've been using WebEx for more than a decade. It is familiar, recognized, and for the most part, reliable. More than anything, my clients are used to me saying, "let's hop on a WebEx" and there is little trepidation about downloading a plugin or making something work.

Cons: I've been using WebEx for more than a decade and it wasn't until I started to get on calls with other vehicles that I realized how much innovation there is in the space. I started to feel like WebEx has been sleeping on the job. And while security is important, why do I have to jump through so many hoops to get a meeting started, or have a degree in rocket science to set up single sign-on?

Pros: This software can be used anywhere you have a wifi connection -- no cell service needed to connect to your work meetings! They also have a pretty good app so if you can't get onto your laptop, use the Webex app and you'll have almost all the same features including being able to view the presentation! Being able to share your screen and even pass along screen share rights over to another person in the meeting room is very convenient.

Cons: The only issue I have with this software is that if a meeting ends and you don't exit right away, sometimes it will freeze the program and your computer the next time you need to use it.

Overall: Being able to connect with ease to meetings and presentations.

Pros: Simple and intuitive control interface. A good tool for holding meetings within the company and for communicating with clients. In compartment with audio and video calls, allows you to share your desktop, make audio and video calls, share files. The quality of video and audio calls is on top. Pleased with the availability of the trial version.

Cons: Unfortunately this is a paid app and its license cost is quite not cheap. Annoying that you have to install it on your PC, I would like to use a pure web application, well, or the maximum plug-in to the browser. The app requires a stable, high-speed Internet connection.

Overall: We use in the basis for carrying out meetings with clients of our company.

Pros: WebEx has the ability to "call you" based on saved phone numbers you have in your account. The user interface is super simple, nice looking, and easy to use. I also like that it's available as a "temporary application" for customers that can't download the application.
I really like the "Personal Room" option in WebEx where you have a meeting room always available to you, without having to schedule something specific.
In my experience with a handful of competitors, this is the superior tool.

Cons: There isn't a lot - the web interface leaves some to be desired. It takes a while for the recorded sessions to be available. Mostly - it's a rockin' tool!

Pros: Toll Free dial-in numbers are available just about world-wide. Good integration between browser and phone platform. Excellent screen sharing technology around choosing what to share (or not). Generally very good telephone audio quality. In meeting chat tools allow communication with entire group or just individuals. Easy to pass control around, and easy to set conference call options- mute all, record audio, etc.

Cons: Browser compatibility can sometimes be an issue. If you are using multiple displays with your computer (IE: laptop & external monitor), screen sharing only works with your primary display- this is the biggest complaint we see with out users.

Pros: I like all of the features that are available while you are on a call. We initially purchased the software because it allows you to use screen share really easily which allows us to have a cohesive conversation about digital campaigns because we are all viewing the same information/screen. We initially started using this software because one of our partners would use it to screenshare with us and it was really efficient. There is also a chat feature that is useful for sending links and notes. I don't use the agenda feature here because we share that ahead of time in Google Docs so it is editable, but I can imagine that would be helpful too.

Cons: The thing I like least is the quality of the connection. We do not have the fastest internet and occasionally there is a lag. I usually remedy this by turning off the video feature and using the audio call in. The other downside is that first time users are often confused by the computer dial in for audio- it is the feature I most often have to walk new clients through on our first WebEx call.

Overall: It allows me to meet with multiple clients at a time and share my screen so that we are consistently looking at the same information.

Pros: It is pretty much plug and play (we are integrated with Microsoft Outlook) - I click to arrange a meeting, follow the link to begin/join the meeting.

Cons: The audio can be a struggle - many times the audio quality over the computer connection is poor quality. This may be partially due to the hardware, but we use pretty high quality hardware at my company. Fortunately, phone call-in is an option when that happens, and it has not prevented me from having a meeting.

Overall: I conduct or participate in Webex virtual meetings nearly every day - it is the standard tool for virtual meetings at my company. I find it highly effective, even in global meetings. I effectively work with people in India, China, Japan, Europe, South America and Africa.

Worked great when working with domestic customers (in the US).

Pros: I like having the option of using computer audio or calling in via phone.
The "Call Me" function is also really handy when you don't want to navigate all of the dial-in options.
Screensharing is easy to do, even if you have multiple screens.
Having a "Personal Room" is handy when you have an impromptu call and just share the link.

Cons: International customer struggled to get the audio to work; some couldn't get it to work at all and we had to Skype/call directly.
Less tech-savvy customers would accidentally click on a different tab that showed meeting info or notes, rather than my screenshare, and would cause confusion.
If you had calls back to back and your next customer dialed in early, they would enter your current meeting and cause an awkward exchange and delay.
Like every other VoIP software, there is the unfortunate delay when talking so people end up talking at the same time.

Overall: Somewhat simple and stable software for product demos and screensharing.

Pros: The WebEx tool is one of the best in high level business communication, it allows you to organize digital meetings anywhere, with the number of people you require, making it private or public to your contact list, using the camera if you want it to make it even more personal, you have unlimited connection time so you can meet and talk the hours you want, you can eliminate users that are no longer needed and thus not have a disaster in the contacts and always keep your list clean, there are many the benefits of this software, very useful for companies with several branches as is the case of the company where I work.

Cons: The cost of this tool is very high, perhaps the most expensive in the market, of course it is a top quality service, but your company must have a strong economic support to carry out the expense, in addition you require a very good internet connection to use it optimally.

Overall: The ability to communicate anywhere with people who are in any part of the globe, with a first class service, where I can organize meetings between a group of people, expose projects or propose solutions, something escensial in today's world

Pros: I like the robustness of the platform and the (usually) good call quality. I like the recording ability and that we can have 25 attendees on a conference.

Cons: Support is terrible! Has never resolved a problem. Sales is terrible! Sometimes takes 2 weeks to add a new user. Deployment is haphazard. Admin console is hard to navigate, unforgiving, and frequently loses settings. International support is very difficult for multi-national companies. Sound and microphone are hard to setup. Mac's are well behind PC's in support (sometimes taking weeks to support the latest MacOS). Everyone misses the "connect to audio" selection after connection and so are usually sitting as voiceless attendees in a meeting; this could/should be much easier ...

Overall: Global call conferencing.

Pros: The setup process is simple and quick. If you don't already have the client you can either download it or just use the web client. This makes it easy for users that are behind very restrictive firewalls or do not have the ability to load software to their desktop.

I also like the Call Me feature that allows for the WebEx servers to call you instead of need to place a call from a hotel or customer site.

Cons: The scheduling snap-ins still needs some work but they ae getting much easier to use for scheduling meetings. These can be a little cumbersome to use.

Pros: Whenever we have calls or meetings with local and international teams, we can simply log in to WebEx, enter the host's conference room and begin our conversation there. It is quick, easy and effective for internal and external stakeholders involved.

Cons: We've ran into numerous issues when we were hosting custom webinars through the event center. It's not exactly user friendly and we experienced many glitches throughout the year that was unique to the WebEx Support team and they were not able to replicate the incident and offer insight into what the issues are.

Cons: Poor customer service, rude, and unhelpful

Overall: We converted to a higher capacity version of WebEx a few months ago. They guaranteed an easy transition but ended up deleting our old account and taking over a week and a half to create the new one. The actual software is exactly what is expected. I have had an issue with the recording function. When recording a WebEx it adds a large green rectangle to the bottom of the screen. The only way to view the video is on their video player. You can export but when you do it becomes very pixilated and blurred. To use the video or send it to customers, a clear mp4 is needed. I made multiple customer service requests. I was bumped from support technician to support technician for over a week. Finally, I was sent back to America and spoke to a technician in California who told me the only option I had was to turn the resolution on my computer monitor as low as possible. That was not an acceptable answer. I have to record the WebEx audio on a mobile device and overlay it on a screen record from another software. If we had not signed a contract we would have left WebEx for another company.

Recommendations to other buyers: Don't plan to record it and look professional.

Pros: Webex has ingrained itself in the business market as one of the defacto platforms for web meetings. The interface is a little dated, but we've had success here in using it for our webinars and meetings. Presenting powerpoint presentations is the norm around here and it works quite easily with Webex, albeit with a few catches like no animations. We use it for 10-20 people webinars and have taken part in sales meetings with many more and it all goes off without a hitch.

Cons: As mentioned above, the interface is a little dated, though it would make sense to change in small iterations or else you might alienate your users with a major upgrade. We usually use powerpoint presentations and it has less compatibility with version 2013 and above (2016 currently) and will always display the error saying such when you load it in. It still works for us, but our presentations are fairly basic.

We use WebEx both for internal conference calls as well as external, customer-facing webinars.

Pros: I'm familiar with WebEx so I know how to navigate and am comfortable with it overall. It has most of the basic function that I need, and it works well for internal conference calls with remote employees.

Cons: We tried to pre-record a customer webinar and ran into a lot of issues. We spent lots of time talking with customer support, which wasn't helpful with our issue. We're hoping they update their functionality soon, since we host many webinars and need the better capabilities when playing pre-recorded webinars.

Pros: It is a simple software to use. It works well on different platforms, for example when I used it connected to Mac OSX, it integrates well, the components respond correctly. I was in a meeting where one of the participants was connected to a Polycom communications team and the conference was wonderful. The times I have received assistance from a provider such as remote assistance amplification, has been friendly in its operation, the exchange of views of the session is very clean, allowing a pleasant experience with the software. I like that it is handled by Cisco, because I feel that I am on a very secure platform. I've also seen it work on iOS and it's very similar to the desktop application, so it's easy to locate and use the application.

Cons: It has weaknesses running in some browsers, such as Safari. It is always required that an operating plug-in be installed and usually requires high installation permissions. It is not inductive to create meetings. Record all sessions by default, so you have to be aware of the space you consume in the cloud.

Overall: It allows us to attend meetings and demonstrations of our suppliers and customers easily and quickly. In addition to helping us receive support from our suppliers.

Pros: WebEx is great when employees all over the country need to connect or collaborate on a project. We use it for national campaign calls to include all campaign managers on the same call. We are able to ask questions and make comments while the stream is going which is far more helpful than just a regular conference call. I always prefer the WebEx option to a standard conference call. The record feature is also so helpful because you're able to go back and listen to, usually, important conversations. It's easier than attempting to take notes while it's live because you know you can go back to listen for extra details.

Cons: It can sometimes be glitchy, but that's mostly due to the internet connection I think. Otherwise it's a great product that I like to use.

Overall: It makes connecting with my co-workers and volunteers significantly easier.

Pros: Platform is universal for Windows, Mac, IOS, Android. A rich set of features that include video, virtual workspace and recording options. Quality is superior to GoToMeeting and any free version of conference software (most free will only have ability to make conference that you need to dial in, no video). The ability integrate with other Cisco products make this a must for organizations that need to rely for online collaboration. Direct competitor would be Skype for Business.

Cons: Some browsers have compatibility issues, although WebEx will try to run without install at times can give issues if you don't have administrator privileges. Pricing can be higher than GoToMeeting and about the same with Skype

Overall: Online collaboration with many tools for true meeting space. Allowing video and record options to facilitate features that are superior to competition.

Pros: Cisco WebEx client can be installed for free as add-on to the browser , or standalone client.
It does not consume much memory, does not degrade performance. Even without a client installed, you can manage to join meeting through the browser. Never crashed. Numerous features such as sharing your screen, presentation, white board, allowing or stoping video/voice. Meeting info and URL can be easily shared by attendees.

Cons: Requires fast internet connection for optimal usage. On a slow networks, it is recommended to turn off video for better performance.

Pros: This is a great meeting tool that has all the features you would want, such as white boarding, chat, video conferencing, screen sharing, etc. I use this every week and it gets the job done very well. For the most part, it is pretty easy to setup. It integrates well with Microsoft Outlook, so I usually schedule meetings that way.

Cons: I would say that one out of every four times we start a meeting, there is some sort of error that requires us to close out the application and restart. When we do that, it shows the meeting has already started and then, when we join, there are two hosts shown. This can be problematic when trying to get a meeting going with more then two or three people. We have also had a lot of issues in the past with audio. It's very difficult to get WebEx to keep the same default audio device for each meeting.

I use it on a daily basis and I am very satisfied and pleased with this software.

Pros: It has the facility that allows me to integrate all the applications that I have on my computer at the time of making meetings with other participants, share my desk with other people and organize meetings from anywhere in the world. The white board is extremely useful when collaborating, and call recording is useful when you may need to copy it to someone who could not attend, or just to keep track. It does not matter what devices they use because of their compatibility and convergence with different operating systems, whether personal computers, Macs, tablets or mobile phones.

Cons: The function to search for a member is not giving the right results. There are problems to get multiple screens if we join the same meeting twice. It hangs up and we have to restart the web ex.

Overall: Before WebEx, we would have to rely on simple telephone conference calls for work meetings with remote co-workers. WebEx has allowed all participants to see the same and has proven to be highly beneficial and professional.

Pros: - Call quality is great.
- If a meeting user is connected to more than one screen, WebEx provides a feature that asks every time on screen sharing which screen to share.
- Provides more than one options to get connected to call. Connecting to a call using desktop is the best feature.
- Can chat during on going meeting.
- Best tool to use for Telepresence and video conference.
- Provides ability to record a meeting and mails a recording file to meeting host after meeting is completed.

Cons: For now only issue I have faced is of call quality. Sometimes US toll free number is not available for calls and when connecting through desktop, it doesn't recognizes the audio device connected.

Pros: Covers the basics of what you need and expect with a video conferencing tool. A lot of companies use Cisco Webex for webinars or when you need to speak to a client or need technical assistance. I like that they offer a Google Chrome extension. This adds a level of simplicity to using the program and getting it started. Everything else is pretty standard as far as features and functionality.

Cons: Not much else to it unless your willing to pay and subscribe to their services. Kind of an all or nothing platform. If you need more data, analytics, and logistics you're going to need to pay for the premium version. Also, JAVA is sort of an outdated way to host meetings/conferences. Coupled with tools such as Appear.in and Google Hangouts, note quite sure the advantages here.

Overall: I needed to use this program for a few webinars I was interested in joining or when I need technical assistance with a few platforms we use in our school district. So it enabled me to take part in these things. If I didn't have it I wouldn't have been able to join.
