Pros Startups are characterized by chaos and constant change. Brining in an IBP tool helps structure some of the chaos and ensure the company has clean, reliable data. It is very beneficial to start this when the company is small and hence the tech debt is low. However most IBP platforms are very expensive and do not lend themselves to be easily modified and maintained in-house. BOARD provides up with both of these critical needs at an affordable price point. Cons We are at the beginning of our journey with BOARD, working to define our processes and data. Pros User friendly interface, fast report creating capabilities, amazing ease of use, all in one tool and so far the best forecasting and budgeting tools I have seen. Cons You cannot multi-task on one screen, in other words, you cannot read rows and columns at the same time. There aren't enough data filtering options. However, now that we are direct with BOARD, the support has been tremendous and makes us want to master it so that we can fully utilize what it offers. Pros We are early users for the product but the staff and even users are very helpful and are encouraging for how to learn to use it in many ways.
