Integrated capabilities: schedule, reader, procedures all provide a good level of flexibility. Support organisation is always willing to help. Cons Cube limitations on number of entities. Dataview limitations on number of rows. Lack of time out on infinite sessions. Unable to run procedures on the same database when an infinite session is running. The toolkit approach means that for each different business we can tailor the requirements easily and quickly. Being able to create workflow around not only hierarchical submissions but also business processes means the end user experience is improved and informed. BOARD is truly one product allowing us to join up planning/forecasting applications with BI reporting and dashboards with one skillset and one licence purchase. Being all from one source there is never the issue of people seeing different numbers or reconciliation differences. So far it has solved the problems we've needed to solve. I have seen several cases where financial controllers with medium IT affinity were able to start producing their own reports and analyses within a matter of days! June 8, 2015 5.0 We initially wanted BOARD to improve our budgeting process, but after we saw the potential, it quickly spread throughout our foundation. We now use it for Sales reporting, our Planning functions and managing inventory at our multiple facilities. It has become invaluable and the ease of use drives us to continue to seek new places where we can benefit from this tool. Speed of deployment, capability through BI and CPM functionality is second to none which has allowed us to provide multiple solutions for the business and end customers that truly add value. There is inter-company reconciliations and multiple levels of adjustments. In addition, the customer support is exceptional. I have had wonderful experiences with our rep. He is remarkable in how he explains things and his patience. Cons The training and system documentation leave a lot to be desired.
