It has a professional userface but is not unecessarily complicated Pros BestNotes provides an easy to use platform which makes it great for documenting sessions and notes.. Cons It used to lag really bad, requiring me to manually change the times that captured the documentation. I also dislike the many steps in changing ledgers. I love working with BestNotes staff to solve any issues I may have. They are very knowledgeable and patient. Pros I love the simpleness of using BestNotes. There is nothing complex about the software. Other softwares require more complex fields for data. BestNotes is very easy to use. Cons I don't like not being able to manipulate the reports. I would love to be able to pick the fields I'd like to have on my reports instead of calling BestNotes to create a report for me. It is easy to learn, and after using it a few times, you become more comfortable with the system. The steps are simple to follow, and you can find the information you need without too much difficulty. There are a few things that can be frustrating, like information being erased or a signature not saving, but overall, I think the system is easy to learn and use. Pros It is easy to learn, and the access is simple and convenient. The information is presented in a way that makes it easy to understand, even if you are new to it. I like that you do not have to spend a lot of time trying to figure out how everything works. The steps are clear, and you can get to the information you need without difficulty. It also makes it easier to learn at your own pace and go back to review something when needed. Overall, I think the simplicity makes the learning experience less stressful and more enjoyable. Cons I don’t like that when I save and lock a note, some of the information I entered can be erased if I need to go back and add or correct something. I also don’t like when I sign an entry and later find out that it did not save my signature. It can be frustrating because I think the note is completed, but then I have to go back and fix it. I would like the system to make it clearer when information and signatures are successfully saved. The ease of use and reliability cannot be beat for the price. Pros Of the EMRs that I've used, I like BestNotes the best. It's easy to use and very reliable. It's also one of the most affordable options available. Cons The standard reports aren't that great, but the folks at BestNotes can create customized reports based on your requests. I’ve never used a different EHR system so I may be biased, but after my experience with BestNotes I never want to use another system! Pros It’s very user compatible and friendly. Incredibly easy to navigate the system. BestNotes is very easy to teach and train new employees. Cons Some small details like not being to add, subtract contacts from notes after they’ve been checked in.
