### "Marketo You'll Either Love It or Hate It"

August 28, 2015

4.0

Pros

I loved that the product was so in depth. It was engineered well and had the flexibility to integrate easily with almost any platform. This could be done pretty easily if you are familiar with automation platforms and CRM's.

Cons

I like least about it, the same as I like most about it. The in depth engineering of the product made the design functionality underwhelming. The landing page and email creation tools were clunky and not as intuitive.

### "exceptionally"

June 10, 2017

5.0

Pros

Workflow adaptability that is unmatched by different stages. Building complex information administration, lead scoring, and authoritative procedures, (for example, lead directing) is exceptionally achievable in Marketo. They fundamentally give you each capacity they can code and let their clients sort them out as they prefer (more on this in #7). 2) The engagement programs, principally implied for lead supporting, are genuinely best-in-class. It's a tiny bit of a modification at in the first place, however it truly streamlines complex supporting tracks and spares advertisers from placing prospects into numerous tracks without a moment's delay (which happens more than most concede) 3) The vision is great. Marketo has a reasonable, long haul vision that they ceaselessly convey on. Cases being advances in personalization, ABM, ect. I'd wagered on them to lead the way (or purchase the way by means of Vista ) to whatever is next in showcasing robotization, for example, AI or machine learning.

Cons

I discovered Marketo somewhat hard to learn at to start with, despite the fact that my endeavors were well justified, despite all the trouble. I might want to see Marketo invest somewhat more energy making a stage for taking in the usefulness and UI.

### "Best Marketing Friend"

August 9, 2016

4.5

Pros

The best feature is that it is easy to use it doesn't require you to have any development skills. Analytics you get on the lead bases is very defined. The Lead Life Cycle and Scoring is one the of the best feature it has got.

Cons

The older your instance gets the difficult it gets to manage

### "Campaign Management Made Easy"

May 28, 2019

4.0

Pros

Spark helps you manage your marketing campaigns and for a small business this is extremely important. What I love about this software is that once you become comfortable it really makes your marketing smarter.

Cons

The time it took to get comfy. Marketing department struggled in this area but with guidance form Marketo and from our IT/Marketing POC it became easier.

### "Alright analytics"

October 30, 2018

3.0

Pros

If you are looking for basic analytics, then Marketo could be a good option. It is very easy to use. Adobe is also planning to acquire Marketo. I’ve always been very pleased with Adobe, so it should be a good change, hopefully for the better.

Cons

Unfortunately, the analytics is one of the things I like least about Marketo. They have a lot of other great features which does help make up to for.

### "A Strategic Approach to Managing Leads"

April 18, 2015

5.0

My overall impression of this product is highly favorable. For those who don't know, lead management is the process by which marketing acquires, evaluates, nurtures and hands off leads to the sales team. Our marketing department at Ross University has used this product extensively to generate new outreach to various markets around the United States in our effort to recruit new medical students. The best feature of this product is their seemless integration with SalesForce (another product used extensively at Ross University). You are able to track not only your emails, but develop sophisticated campaigns to drive engagement in a particular market or across a broad spectrum. Above all, Marketo gave you the flexibility to develop an idea and execute on it successfully. Perhaps the one downfall is their smart lists which are difficult to upload. I'm confident that issue will be fixed in coming versions. Overall, I highly recommend this product.

### "Highly recommend using Marketo"

December 10, 2016

5.0

Marketo has been great tool for us for email and online marketing. It really does the lead generation and lead management part well. We have been very impressed by its functionalities. It is specially very good and adaptive even if you have huge volumes of data. We were in this situation (fortunately) where we had tons of leads to be worked and Marketo really helped us sending the right type of deals over to Sales! We also had moved over from Pardot to use Marketo and it turned out to be a good decision.

Pros

\* Email Marketing \* Lead Generation \* Handles huge volumes Of Data

Cons

\* Needs specialists to manage \* Advance features are not intuitive

### "So ok, I almost don't have an opinion"

November 10, 2016

4.0

Marketo is very slow, super frustrating, it almost overshadows the functionality. But the mail deliverability is satisfactory and the platform provides what we need. Sorry for the brevity, I just needed to get this off my chest and I feel much bettter.

Pros

It asks me for the organization name so I can't act a fool for Starbucks gift cards

Cons

Your "Tell me abut yourself" form asks for a lot, though it is optional, so I can't stay mad at you

### "Marketo - A Great Marketing Automation Platform"

December 5, 2016

5.0

Overall, Marketo is likely the benchmark in marketing automation technology. The software itself is fully featured and almost limitless in its potential. Where other competitive packages may promise the functionality of what Marketo offers, they often fail to truly deliver. On the flip side, one of Marketo's best benefits (its seemingly limitless potential), can also be overwhelming for more novice marketing users, making it a challenge to implement at scale. Looking back, our organization was not at a place where implementing a marketing automation solution at the enterprise level was set up to be successful and, in hindsight, I would have appreciated the folks at Marketo recognizing this and advising a different course of action. Of course, this is not an indictment of the Marketo platform itself and for companies with a detailed plan and roadmap for long-term success will be thrilled with what Marketo has to offer.

### "Good for what it is"

October 23, 2019

4.0

It is a very useful tool, but it is very clunky and complicated to set up with limited support access.

Pros

It is great for sending mass emails and tracking. Also very flexible for the workflows you want to support.

Cons

It is very clunky and can be hard to set up, looks like it's from 2004. The UI needs a major facelift.

### "Marketo comes highly recommended"

October 28, 2018

4.0

Pros

Drag and drop features makes Marketo very easy to use. Integration with social media tools like Facebook and CRM tools like SalesForce make it particularly great.

Cons

No free trial and you need to contact them for a customised quote. This makes it difficult for smaller businesses that are looking to find a proof of concept before investing in a tool like Marketo.

### "Marketo for Publishers"

December 13, 2016

4.0

Marketo is a very powerful content marketing tool, and this can help publishers solve their content consumption question. If you need to know who in your subscription file is ready, engaging with what specific types of content, when, then Marketo can help you answer these questions. When moving to Marketo as a publisher, within the first year we were able to see our whitepaper, ebook, webcast, and site traffic increase significantly, and continue to grow into year two of the investment. It is a really powerful tool and connects to some amazing partnering technologies that can only improve your audience development and content amplification efforts.

I enjoy partnering with Marketo because it seems just that a partnership. I consider Marketo to be my other coworker. The software once set up allows you to step back from the day to day email needs and runs for you.

Cons

### "This Marketing Automation Tool Does the job!"

December 10, 2016

4.0

Marketo has definitely been a great value add to our company. The Lead Nurturing and Lead Scoring are definitely its strong suites. Its integration with Salesforce is also very robust. The Sales reps enjoy the Hot Lead functionality that it provides. It handles the volumes pretty well. We have Marketo forms on our website and they integrate into Marketo. We really get good quality leads back into Salesforce which is then taken over by our Sales teams to follow up. Their customer service is good and reliable.

Pros

Lead Nurturing, Scoring, Tracking, Content tracking, Email Marketing

Cons

No complaints overall
