Comments: Overall a good program and definitely a good value for the money. The company is responsive and pleasant to deal with. A moderate learning curve. Worth looking at yet as with any software you have to figure out how it may help or hinder your workflow. I give it a 7.5 out of 10. With the improvements the company is working on it may be better in the next few months (or not).

Pros: Easy to see summaries of patient information and to pull down test results. Very nice company to deal with. Company dedicated to improving the software. Patients can see lab results that come into the program in "real time". Often they will beat me to seeing the results. Patient portal. Although we didn't use it, the program will call your patients 2 days before their visit to remind them. (We prefer calling on our own-yet this can be a big labor saver) Likewise we didn't use the practice management tools yet they are available and integrated into the program (this includes billing).

Cons: Task manager/results review section needs improvement. I could not send comments either to patients or to my staff without going through 3 screens. I found this time consuming and since I like to feed back on results to patients it was just not helpful. In addition, in the task manager you have to go through 2 screens to clear it from the task manager section. Ordering labs and consults and xrays was initially a chore, yet once I spent a Saturday night looking up all the CPT codes and then saving them into different sections my staff and I became pretty proficient at it and actually found ordering easy to do (so actually a PRO as well as a Con, with the con being I had to figure out that shortcut on my own). Prevention section is nonexistent. You must create it yourself which I found difficult. I did not understand why the company did not at least load the US Preventative Services Task Force recommendations based on age and then let you edit from there. It would be much more helpful.

Past patient evaluations easily incorporated into a new visit and management of allergy patients is a benefit.

Comments: Satisfactory EHR system but needs improvements.

Pros: Cloud based, easy to adapt and develop specific templates for a global visit to include CPT and ICD-10 codes.

Cons: Does not incorporate the referring physician so that letters to referral MDs are hard to send out. Need to update the fax numbers of all the physicians in the referral area which requires administration of the team to perform. The instructional videos are out of date with the newer versions of the software.

Comments: We are stuck with this product! Customer support is non-existent. If you put in a support ticket you are not likely to get any resolution. If you are told it has been sent to "Development" that is a black hole and you will never get a solution or an answer. The Clearinghouse they are using for electronic claims is horrible (PhiCure). We have experienced so many problems with billing. WRS is not offering any support. WRS billing is horrible. We had so many unpaid claims, I complained. Do not do that. When I complained they dumped us and I had to find a new biller. We still have unpaid claims that will never be paid due to untimely filing. The product is very rigid. You cannot make any changes to templates. The templates available for our specialty do not meet the criteria for the E & M codes. The changes in more specific ICD10 codes are not accepted in WRS.

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Everything

Recommendations to other buyers: Worst EHR. Stay far, far away.

Comments: Our office has just converted to EMR/PM and WRS has made this a very pleasant transition. Software Advice did a superb job narrowing the choices for us and listened to our practice needs and the top recommendation was WRS Health and as a whole the practice is very happy and so are our patients.

Pros: The self guided help as well as the online assistance availability. The combination of PM and EMR in one package. The ability to speak to actual physicians that are using this in their practice.

Recommendations to other buyers: Don't wait with MACRA at the door step...switch now!

Pros: The system is relatively easy to use but it is too rigid. The templates are not in compliance with current E & M coding

Cons: Poor technical support. There is no tech support phone number to call. You have to put in a "support ticket". More often than not the answer to your problem is "No one else is having that problem" or you get no response at all.

Recommendations to other buyers: Take your time and do not rush into anything. Obtain references and talk to the providers who use the software. Make sure that the software meets all of your needs for your particular practice and specialty. Find out who and where their technical support is located. Determine if it is available by phone or just putting in a ticket (this is not a viable option). If you choose to have them do your billing find out what level of training they have completed and do they know how to use the Clearinghouse.

Pros: Overall it's fairly easy to use compared to other EMRs: NextGen, MicroMD, Digichart

Cons: #1 No up-to-date online self-training info and not easy to get to someone to ask a question. #2 As with ALL the EHR's I've used - there's the usual not-fully functional lab interface --- this is VERY hard for any practice to get to work 100% as you practically need a full time IT person working on it. #3 Email & Patient portal need to be more user friendly and functional. #4 Should be able to get into a chart from all Tasking, email, labs, etc - you have to close out of one are and open another, then reopen what you closed - takes a lot of time. Need "Page UP and Page DOWN" buttons to maneuver more quickly on the templates. Need more individual functionality (e.g. my phrases, individual email from the portal) for practices that have multiple users. Need to be able to ERROR notes made in ERROR.

Recommendations to other buyers: From what I understand its pretty inexpensive compared to others - if money is an issue, you can squeek by with this one as it's pretty basic.

Pros: it is pretty intuitive. the support has been great in getting set up

Cons: With many of the training sessions they tell it will be 30 mins, but takes an hour. I think the training could be more structured. Also many of the self training videos seem outdated

Recommendations to other buyers: Take your time. Speak to users and read reviews. Make sure you understand how long it takes to train in and set aside enough time.

Pros: It's web based and I can access information from my phone or anywhere there is a computer. The ability to do billing and EMR all in one.

Cons: Have to log a new ticket with every question and then check the support section for response. Reports are complicated.

Recommendations to other buyers: See if someone you know uses it and watch how it works. It's not perfect but for the price and features, it is a good product.

I have been using it for over 7 years. It has made many improvements and these have been good.

Comments: Web based and always accessible. You can do most anything needed. You can always log a ticket for any problems. Sometimes it takes awhile to get an answer on billing issues but they have decreased my AR a great deal from my past billing person.
I wish there were a few more customizable features - like making notes that fit my practice, automatically putting tasks/emails for patients into their EMR "file", and like a real chart, allowing notes to go into separate files - like phone messages all in one section, OV notes in one section...now it just runs on and after 7 years it is sometimes hard to find a particular note.

Pros: Salesperson was very nice. Even tried to help personally when we were dissatisfied

Cons: The product is terrible. Simple functions like eRX and lab interface do not work properly. The patient portal is terrible. Support is abominable. Billing is bad and the reports make no sense.

Recommendations to other buyers: Stay AWAY. There are problems with every aspect of the system. The sales team tells you it was designed by doctors and billers. After using the system for 4 months I cannot believe that is true. I am looking to switch to a new EHR.

Comments: WRS is very easy to use. We were looking for a program that would give us more options since our old EHR was not really going in the direction we were heading. WRS was definitely much more affordable and gave us options that we really liked and felt would benefit our practice. WRS allows patient to message you through the web portal which is nice, however it does go into everyones inbox and you sort of have to find out if someone has replied to a message since it will not let you know that. Order & tracking is a really nice feature as well. we also like the printout screen in the program. Its nice to be able to view the pt Hx all in one screen. Being able to fax imported items, results, referrals all at once by checking off a box and sending is a real time saver as well. There are a lot of great features in this program. Of course there is no perfect program but this program does work well for us!

Comments: Registering new patients is so much easier, especially if the patients have an email address so they can log into WRS and complete their medical history. Billing is a breeze, with a few clicks I have all claims that need to be sent to the clearinghouse.

Comments: The only complaint about ease of use happens with all software......it's a pain and takes a while to make it specifically for you. However,: that being said, once you do set it up it's a breeze. With your own templates you can point and click; plus add extra to personalize that patient visit. My office staff loved the scheduler and my biller never complained. I would recommend this EHR to anyone, without hesitation and actually have.

Comments: We are a psychiatric practice. Psychiatry is very different than any other specialty. We were promised the sun, moon and stars. That never materialized. We have been with WRS Health for over 3 years. Lots of promises to make improvements for our specialty but no follow through. It is fairly easy to use. We do have slow downs during the day and sometimes it will automatically log you out in the middle of something which can be frustrating when you lose part of a note. E-prescribing works on and off. We get a lot of calls from local pharmacies and mail order that they did not receive a prescription even though our logs show it went through. Customization by the customer is not available. If you have issues you must put in a "ticket". We have tickets, I finally closed out because there was no action on them after months, some even were open over a year. It may work well for family medicine or internal medicine but I would not recommend it for psychiatry.

Pros: Although new to this program in the last 6 months, it already is much easier to use, and it streamlines many functions compared to our old EMR software. Navigation is simple, and customer service is fantastic. I have reached out multiple times for assistance and have been very pleased with the help I have received.

Cons: The only complaint I have at this time would be with building templates. It seems a bit more difficult than with our last software, and doesn't it have the same options as what I am used to.

Recommendations to other buyers: This is an all-in-one software. It combines everything we need, even our website. Have the billing incorporated also saves our office time. It takes a bit to get used to, but once you learn the software, it is an easy, user-friendly program.

Pros: I demoed 10 programs before deciding on this EMR. It looks easy to use. It has tutorials. I liked that it had coding assistance. It is only good for coding assistance in an office setting. If you happen to practice outside an office setting, such as in a nursing home or in individual home, you are out of luck, as this feature is not functional, even after I have asked for this for five years. However, it does have a professional look when you print out your progress note.

Cons: I would not purchase this again. I requested a drop-down scheduling system and was told this would cost me a considerable fee. I asked for the company to coordinate with my phlebotomist so I could get labs uploaded automatically. This was another fee. The company has not strived to continually improve itself. These are simple programming issues that have not been implemented although they could make my life easier. Customer service has been slow to respond to 90% of my needs. Spellcheck was added after several years of me asking for it. Spell check still does not work for capitalized words or titles. They need additional programmers to fix problems as they are noted by every doctor. Years is a long time to wait for improvements.

Recommendations to other buyers: Choose a system where the customer service is responsive to your needs. If you want the system to improve with you, this system only slowly improves. I have been patient for years. I have given multiple tickets for improvement of this system. Every request for improvement has proven to be a battle. I'm very disappointed at the customer service here. I'm disappointed most with staff reactions to improvement requests. Instead of trying to implement improvements steadily, I feel ignored.

Pros: I like the ease of use. We use WRS for our scheduling, billing, and EMR charting; everything works great. There are so many features that we didn't even know were available until we switched over. We are in California and tried programs that are based out here just so we would not have to deal with a time difference, but they were way off from what we needed. Switching over was great and easy. We have not looked at other programs since.

Cons: No complaints. Seriously, I do not have even one. WRS confirms our appointments for us. How easy is that?! Plus, every person I have spoke to has been wonderful every time. I love them.

Recommendations to other buyers: Schedule a demo and give them a shot. Their customer service is better than most. They strive for perfection and are always there to help.

Pros: It is very well-organized.

Cons: Entering injections one at a time, I usually can only put in different injections with the same date, and when new child/teen patients come in, they usually have a long record that I need to input, so it takes a while.

Recommendations to other buyers: It's pretty much very simple. Once someone teaches you, you get the hang of it.

Pros: I like that the product is easy to navigate through and simple to input information. I also like that we can upload pictures of our patients.

Cons: The only issue I have with this product is that sometimes I am not able to find a specialist when I am entering a referral into the referral tab.

Recommendations to other buyers: Make sure that the layout will work best for your office, but I think overall it is simple and good for all offices.

Pros: You can save documents, and it's really easy to locate. For example, when scanning a patient's insurance card, you can save it to the system, and it is easy to access. Most importantly, it is saving the trees because it's paperless.

Cons: To put in a request for any change, you must submit a ticket. It would be better if you could call someone and make the change.

Recommendations to other buyers: Make sure the system really saves the information that is put in. We are not a primary doctor's office. We don't really use all the other categories, but for the ones we use, we always have to double-click save because it doesn't save the info all the time.

Pros: It's faster and friendly. It's also very doctor-friendly. The doctor does well-organized charting, and then billers do their own work. If you like, you can do your own posting or WRS biller is also available, which can help you

Cons: When we saw it the first time, it looked like it was harder, but whenever we started to work with it, it was easy. It's user-friendly, and the billing is very doctor-friendly.

Recommendations to other buyers: No other software is as good. Some have a few good things, but they also have things that are harder than WRS.

Pros: WRS is web-based and has virtually 0% downtime. Start-up is quick.

Cons: We were told that the product was highly customizable. We found that customizing is not that user-friendly. Technical support requires opening a ticket and spending a lot of time typing back and forth.

Recommendations to other buyers: We have found we are basically on our own with this product.

Pros: I spent two months researching EMRs and picked this one as the best one for the price. I have been very happy with it. Their support people are top-notch. It is very customizable. They continue to improve it all the time.

Cons: I can't generate an INR flowsheet. There is a workaround. Systems that would do this cost a lot more.

Recommendations to other buyers: Take your time to understand how an EMR is going to work in your practice. View demonstrations of multiple systems and try to think about patients you see every day and how that EMR would work in your practice.

Pros: It used to be a simple, intuitive, and fully web-based system.

Cons: We felt they were not listening to users.

Recommendations to other buyers: The system suffers from haphazard development. The priority of developers is to achieve MU2, ONC, etc. certification. This is at the expense of system response time, longer screen refresh time, and ease of use. Make sure that you demo the system online. Do not fall in the trap of the fully-integrated practice management system; it only works if you use other WRS services (e.g. billing). Otherwise, practice management is a messy collection of features provided by contractors. The system used to be inexpensive to implement, but we felt we paid the price later.

Comments: I am so thrilled with WRS Health. The system is working well. There are a couple things I can¿t do, but overall it¿s excellent. We have five locations and used another system years ago. We¿ve been with WRS since November 2009 and we are very happy. I would absolutely recommend WRS Health to other physicians. Our only hesitation was that it wasn¿t MAC compatible, but the customer service was so incredible we agreed to sign up and wait for them to develop the compatibility. The forward thinking and customer service made us stay.

WRS Health helped my practice because it¿s a well-organized package. We have implemented all aspects of the system. The adaptation of WRS for each individual site is a real drawing card. It streamlines a lot of processes for us so we are not doing redundant tasks. The tracking mechanism is working great for us. The patient education that¿s attached to the diagnosis is a very a useful feature. I¿ve noticed improvements in practice workflow and efficiency. Meaning Use has worked well for our medical providers.

I am happy to give the WRS Health¿s customer service team kudos. They are upfront and honest with us and I appreciate that. They assured me that once we got where we needed to be they would focus on Mac compatibility. They kept their word and I would like to say thank you to the entire WRS team for making WRS compatible with Mac. You folks have made an enormous amount of improvements throughout the year and I was pleasantly surprised when I logged on and got further through the system than the patients names. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Comments: I have been working at Dr. Dan Vatev¿s practice for eleven years and changing to EMR with WRS Health is the best decision he¿s ever made! We started with WRS Health in October 2013, and we began seeing improvements in our workflow immediately. Once you start with WRS Health, you don¿t need to look any further for an EMR.

We have two locations, and WRS has helped our practices function with ease. Rather than having to pull charts and medical records, we can go into the system and find everything in one spot. The system also allows the doctors to customize templates. All they have to do is look into the system, see what patients are in the office, and they can tend to them right away. All the information entered at the front desk is at their fingertips immediately. They can refer to the patient¿s chart and help them instantly, eliminating multiple steps in the typical process.

WRS Health¿s billing system is working really well for us right now. WRS populates the form automatically. In the past, we would send claims to insurance companies and have to wait to be accepted or denied. Now we know what changes need to be made before we send a claim. WRS notifies us right away and tells us what we need to fix before we can proceed.

We are currently working between two systems. We were attempting to do reports with our other system, but it was far too complicated. I¿ve been working in the other system since 2006, and instead of making improvements over the years, it seems as though things are becoming more difficult. They were even losing the claims we were submitting! We would call and they would say it was never received. I can¿t wait to complete the transition to WRS Health.

The customer service team at WRS Health is very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. We call them and they get back to us right away. We don¿t have to wait. Mike Smith is the best. He is so attentive and prompt with his responses! When I send an email, I find that he has replied before I even think to check my email. He follows up after training and calls to check in. Before going live with the WRS Health system I was afraid. I couldn¿t imagine going live without more training. But the WRS Health team offered to help us right away.

Overall, things are running much smoother in the office from the front desk to the appointments with patients. We are very happy with this EMR.

Comments: WRS Health has helped our practice run a lot smoother, and I would definitely recommend this system to other practices. We no longer have to worry about making confirmation calls, and from a scheduling standpoint, this has made things a lot easier. Our patients are able to confirm appointments on their own. We love that! It gives us more time to take care of messages coming through the phone. Everything at the front desk is running a lot smoother.

We are currently learning WRS Health¿s billing system and the process is fluid. I can easily drag and drop information to the system. I really appreciate the customer service team. They have helped me and my coworkers get acclimated with the program. When I have questions, they get back to me very quickly. I really like working with them. They are so supportive!

Comments: My practice is in Miami Florida and I specialize in Neurology. I would recommend WRS Health to other physicians because it¿s easy to use. I find the system to be helpful and accommodating. The Meaningful Use analysis is wonderful. I am able to seamlessly send all of the required information to obtain the funds. WRS Health EMR e-prescribing is another useful feature as it helps patients get their medications quickly. This feature also allows me to record the prescription information and provide clear evidence for Meaningful Use government incentives.

I¿ve noticed significant improvements in work flow and it continues to get better! This cloud based system possesses all of the attributes necessary to ensure efficient work flow. I switched from a different EMR system as it was not user friendly. We were able to move forward quickly with WRS Health. At first, I had no idea how to navigate through the system, but the customer service has been great and helped put us in the right direction.

Comments: I absolutely recommend WRS Health. The web-based system enables me to get the information I need when I need it, whether I¿m at the office or at home. WRS Health has helped my internal medicine practice by allowing me to keep my patients well informed. During a visit, we can view their chart together. This allows the patient to keep track of their health history for the entire year. The feature I find to be most helpful is E-prescribing because refills can be done electronically and accurately. My patients love this feature! Not having to pull paper charts really improves workflow. I save time and get more done in a day.

I did my research before choosing WRS Health. I used an EMR at a previous practice, and as I worked through that system I noted the things I thought were missing. I was looking for a web-based program so I would have 24/7 access, and WRS Health provided this. I¿m an organized person and WRS allows me to track the important things.

I only have good things to say about the customer support and training team at WRS Health. I¿m currently continuing with training, and it¿s very informative. They are very patient with me and answer my questions in a timely fashion.

Comments: Optimal Health Physicians is a 13-year-old integrative internal medicine practice in Rockville, MD. When we started looking for our first EMR, we knew that we needed a way to create an accessible database for the purpose of analyzing treatment and therapies. We were seeking an EMR system that would enable us to gather data about our patient care. We wanted to find out what happens to a patient over a period of time. Most of the EHR systems are created to gather information for the purpose of coding and reimbursement. After evaluating about 12 EMR firms, I choose WRS Health EMR. Our patients can enter their history information in the WRS Health Patient Portal. We can send requests to patients asking them to log in and fill out questionnaires or encouraging them to give us more information about how they are doing between their visits. We are experiencing a closer relationship with patients via WRS Health Patient Portal. Physicians benefit from having a database. With WRS Health EMR I am able to get a 100% download of database files for every single element in the system. WRS Health EHR system is valuable because it will enable us to get the data to inform other physicians about what¿s wrong with patients and how you can take care of them, as well as how to communicate with patients so that they are compliant with their medications. WRS Health EMR permits me to export all of my data from their servers. Another advantage of WRS Health EMR is that it is web-based. We want to be able to work from any place, 24/7. WRS Health EMR is cloud-based, so it¿s secure. It¿s not necessary to back up several servers in order not to lose our patient data. Yet another advantage of WRS Health EMR is that the system offers e-prescribing and connectivity to large laboratories. These features were also on my must-have EMR wish list. In addition, WRS Health EMR system is integrated with Dragon Naturally Speaking, which allows our physicians to dictate information that turns up as text. Finally, our staff is very pleased. WRS Health EMR is a very good system.

Comments: I am the owner of Quality Express Clinic Family Practice in Texas. I previously used another EMR and didn¿t have a good experience. When I started looking for a new EMR I asked for references from people who were using WRS Health's web-based EMR. Three of my colleagues were using WRS Health EMR, and they were very satisfied. I visited my colleagues¿ clinics and viewed how WRS Health EMR works. The system is user-friendly. That¿s what I wanted. The previous EMR I used was not user-friendly. It was very complex and time consuming. I wanted very much to cut my time using an EMR so I could devote more time to patients. I really like the speed of WRS Health EMR. I never have to wait any length of time for things to load or download. It¿s amazingly fast. The lab interface has also been very helpful. With WRS Health EMR I have the ability to create templates so that the EMR looks the way that I want it to look. I had many billing issues with my previous EMR. WRS Health offers training, so from the beginning, I was sure that billing issues were not going to be a problem. WRS Health provides many choices for training. There is online training on the phone with an expert person in your field. A provider, who works at WRS Health taught me the EMR. A billing expert from WRS Health trained our biller. Our front office person receiving training from a front office staffer. That¿s a major plus. There is also self-guided training available online. That is advantageous if you forget something. You also don¿t have to call someone and wait for a call back. You can look at the module and learn. WRS Health Team is responsive to all of our questions and they take you through everything. This training experience exceeded the training that we had with our previous EMR. Our practice workflow is smoother with WRS Health EHR. It enables me to concentrate on providing patient care. I don¿t have to write things and that saves me a lot of time. WRS Health Family Practice templates are great. I only have to point and click. Instead of being tied up with the medical records and documenting everything, I am free to respond to more questions from patients, and that improves patient care.

Comments: Our practice is called Okeechobee Family Practice. We are located in Florida. We had used an outside billing services firm since 2007. They didn¿t have the knowledge to help us get paid what we were supposed to get paid for. At the beginning of 2013, we choose WRS Health Billing Services. Now our revenue is on the upswing. Our rejection rate is 1.34 percent. WRS Health Billing Team holds Billing Analysis Meetings with us every month. We review what we have done, and they suggest ways that we can improve. We are collecting more copays now that WRS Health informs us exactly what the patient¿s copay is several hours prior to their visit. WRS Health offers checks and balances so that we know that money is coming into the practice. We have control of our finances 24/7. We can view our finances whenever we want. We don¿t have to worry about money being siphoned from the practice without our knowledge. One of the stresses that WRS Health has lifted is having to hire and train billing staffers. If an in-house biller gets sick, your billing is put on hold. With WRS Health Billing Services, I don¿t have to worry about our billing coming to a halt. WRS Health helps us to get paid fast for all of the services we provide. If the doctor performs an office visit and simultaneously does a screening, WRS Health reminds us that we can bill for both services. Finally, WRS Health provides us with enormous communication and input. Billing is a breeze since WRS Health is doing the billing. When I have any questions, they are very responsive. Furthermore, the doctor has more time to concentrate on providing care to his patients.

Comments: My practice is called Rheumatology Associates of South Florida. I see 12 to 16 patients daily. I offer non-interventional pain management, including conservative measures to control pain, pain Rxs, muscle relaxants, and injections. I evaluated several EMRs, including Epic and eClinicalWorks, before choosing WRS Health EMR. I learned about WRS Health EMR via a referral and I¿ve been very pleased since. WRS Health acommodated all of our requests to modify the template to suit my needs. The template is above any others that I¿ve looked at. WRS Health is willing to alter things if you have suggestions. For my practice, the Physical Examination is key. I was able to include joint anatomy, muscle anatomy and service anatomy (drawings) to the Physical Exam. This is unique to the system. The template I have is very complete. I needed my neurological template to have a motor responses and a sensory component. I can modify my templates on the spot, and having that freedom is great. I can add any components under a category to my template. For instance, for muscular skeletal for head and neck, spine, pelvis, etc., I can open up the window and add different parts. For head and neck, I can add if there are trigger points. I can also add certain tests and discuss the post elements. WRS Health Billing Team was very instrumental in speeding up my reimbursement. We previously relied on paper drops and mail. Now, when we code, we get guidance as to whether we are under-billing or over-billing. This is very beneficial. I can do the claims smoothly. When I see the patient, I submit the codes into the system on the procedure and system template. My staff pulls it up and they view that the form is populated. They ascertain that it is correct. They scrub the claim and submit it. I¿m getting paid much more rapidly. My claim denials places us in the top 1%, which is above the national practice average. WRS Health EMR e-prescribing helps patients get their medications quickly and has also helped me to attest for Meaningful Use government incentives. When I e-prescribe, that information is recorded. I¿ve already been the recipient of the first MU payment. WRS Health EMR Appointment Reminders and Scheduling as well as WRS Health Fax Queue enable my staff to be more efficient. The Fax Queue also helps us keep a record of faxes that have been sent. Finally, WRS Health EMR is comprehensive and it is very easy to use. The WRS Health staff responds very quickly. I¿m very pleased with the service.

Comments: My practice is Southern California Pain Consultants. We are located in Torrance, CA. I have a partner, who is an anesthesiologist and pain specialist. My credentials include double boarded in pain and psychiatry. We are experiencing growth. We serve a total of 60 patients a day. One of the things that most impresses me about WRS Heath is the superb customer service they provide. These days, customer service has been on a downward spiral in all areas. We¿re always on alert when it comes to technology, so I was really awed by WRS Health Team. Melissa, our WRS Health account representative was attentive from the first day we did business with WRS Health. I previously had a solo practice, where I used WRS Health EHR. The cloud system aided me in quickly attesting for Meaningful Use funds. We were able to send all of the information that was required in order to obtain the funds. It is a pleasure dealing with WRS Health. There are several features of WRS Health EHR that really stand apart from competitors. WRS Health EMR is web-based. The unlimited access that WRS Health EMR affords is really awesome. It enables you to access the system at any time, from any place. That¿s fantastic. Another capability that is very commendable is WRS Health e-prescribing. There are many benefits of using this capability, including the increase in office efficiency. When it comes to the cost of an EMR system, WRS Health can¿t be beat. These days, the cost of an EHR can be exorbitant. But WRS Health is offered at a great price that is not prohibitive. The price is especially good for a small or mid-sized practice. WRS Health EMR possesses all of the features that are crucial to ensure a smooth and efficient practice workflow. That¿s one of the impressive things about WRS EMR. In addition, WRS Health EMR is a very organized system.

Comments: I am the office manager at Family First Medical Clinic in Plaquemine, LA. Dr. Antonio Edwards started his solo family practice in a mobile unit. We built our current facility and moved into it in 2006 and now employ two medical assistants. Although we do see both children and adults, most of our patients are over 45 and experience problems such as COPD, diabetes, and high blood pressure. Dr. Edward used an EHR at his previous practice, and he choose MEDTRON for our clinic. When I arrived, I realized the practice needed a more modern system. We looked at seven EMR systems and talked to three EMR software firms before we selected WRS Health EMR. We wanted a simple, user-friendly EMR since our staff is not very computer savvy. We also wanted a reasonably priced system, and WRS Health EMR was affordable. One of the crucial features that impressed me was that WRS Health EMR allows us to bill electronically, to track payments, follow up, and post payments directly into the patient¿s account so that we don¿t have to go in and intervene manually. When we did billing in-house we had trouble with the quality of reimbursement. The process wasn¿t effective. We implemented WRS Health EHR in Fall 2010 and started using WRS Health Billing Services in Spring 2012. There were previously many outstanding claims. We are very pleased that WRS Health is bringing money into the practice. WRS Health¿s e-prescribing makes it very easy for the patients. They ask for a paper Rx, but we tell them that their Rx is already at their pharmacy. Dr. Edwards also treats patients at Baton Rouge General, so a web-based EMR is important. With WRS Health Billing Services, Dr. Edwards takes the sheet that the hospital gives him for the patient, we fax it to WRS Health, and our billing is complete. WRS Health training modules and videos are great. Our staff can watch them if they have questions. If we ever have a problem, the WRS Health Team is responsive. You can go on the website, type in your question or issue, and within 24 hours your ticket gets assigned to someone. Within 48 hours, you have a solution. Finally, certifications were vital in our EMR selection in order to qualify for Meaningful Use. We have applied for and received funds. WRS Health was instrumental in that process. I highly recommend you evaluate WRS. We¿re very pleased with our decision.

Comments: I am the Office Manager of Franks Wellness Clinic in Seminole and Tampa, Florida. The practice was founded in 2000. We offer pain management and primary care services and treat about 25 patients a day. We previously used a couple of Practice Management systems (one for one office and a different one for our other office). After evaluating a few EMRs, I selected WRS Health EMR. I was impressed that WRS Health representatives answered all of my questions immediately. When I have questions, I dislike having to wait for a response. WRS Health doesn¿t make you wait. Their feedback was very positive. I was searching for a web-based system because I didn¿t want to be concerned with maintaining servers and hiring IT personnel. We are using the WRS Health Billing Services and Module, which allows us to post payments and send claims to the insurance companies immediately. Since implementing WRS Health EMR, our revenue has increased by about 40%. With WRS Health Fax Queue, it only takes a few minutes for us to fax patients¿ records to their other physicians. WRS Health patient reminders are also very beneficial. Our staff is more efficient and productive because if they are not on the phone, they are free to do other tasks.

Comments: Park Medical Center is a family practice that was founded in 1972 in Orange Park, FL. We have 3 physicians and 12 administrative staffers and Medical Assistants who use the EMR. We evaluated several EMR systems before selecting Waiting Room Solutions. We have been using Waiting Room Solutions for three years. One of the beneficial features of Waiting Room Solutions is the Billing Module and its auto-posting. It saves us a considerable amount of time. In fact, in ten minutes we accomplished what previously took an hour. Electronic filing facilitates a daily cash flow instead of on a weekly or twice weekly basis. Having an EMR that is always accessible is a big advantage. This is especially critical if one of our three physicians is on call and is treating a patient that has been seen by the other physician. Waiting Room Solutions e-prescribing capability is also an advantage to the practice and to our patients. Physicians can review medications before prescribing and all medications can be viewed before prescribing. Finally, the flow of the medical information in the EMR enables the Medical Assistant to capture the patient¿s medical history.

Comments: I opened Denton Combs, CNP; a solo ENT and allergy practice in Sioux Falls, SD. After using a free EMR for several months, I decided to look for a new system because I was having difficulty with billing. The system wasn¿t integrated and that was a problem. I looked at almost a dozen EMRs. I wanted a system that was customized for my type of practice. WRS can be customized to ENT, but I also care for patients with diabetes and cholesterol issues. WRS is also beneficial when I treat these patients. WRS is a completely integrated EMR, meaning that everything is connected, which is very convenient. I am extremely impressed with WRS Billing Services and Billing Module, which are also integrated in the EMR. I have very few claims rejections. WRS informs me if I have missed any elements of the exam, which is beneficial when entering codes. WRS e-prescribing capability enables my staff to save time. They can send Rxs without having to make phone calls to the pharmacy. Patients are happy with getting their prescriptions fast. Because we are located in South Dakota, where inclement weather is a given, having accessibility to patients records when we are out of the office was crucial. WRS offers unlimited accessibility. My Nurse and Medical Assistant access WRS from home even when the weather isn¿t bad. They are able to log onto WRS Patient Portal to see if patients have any questions or messages. Another advantage of using WRS is that in the evening, I can prepare for the patients I will be seeing the next day. When I am at home, I can look at their lab reports and charts and be ready for patients. WRS automatic Patient Reminders are advantageous. Patients receive calls or emails prior to their appointment. This capability also gets the staff away from being on the phone so they can provide more care to patients and answer their questions. This is helpful since I add a lot of new patients every month. WRS is very user friendly. It was simple to learn how to use the system, and it's also a very affordable EMR; not to mention the WRS Team is very responsive.

Comments: My practice, Southwest Sports and Spine, was founded in 2010. It is situated in Tucson, Arizona. I specialize in interventional pain. The number of patients I treat each week ranges anywhere from 80 to 100. I treat patients who are over 18 years of age who have sports injuries as well as worker comp injuries and automobile injuries. Many of my patients have osteoarthritis. I evaluated several EMRs. Some of them were very expensive. WRS was extremely affordable, and was very easy for my staff and I to master. I spend a lot of time with my patients. I have customized my templates for the exams I do - such as neck, head, knee and shoulder. The templates are beneficial because they enable me to perform my exams and procedures more completely and efficiently. WRS e-prescribing feature is also helping me to practice more efficiently, and my patients are very satisfied with the speed in which they can get their medications. I also like the warnings the system provides, which alert me to potential drug/drug interactions. I was very impressed with the fact that WRS was created by a physician who can empathize with my challenges. WRS also has the certifications which enabled me to successfully attest for Meaningful Use incentive money. I received MU funds and that was very helpful because I had many expenses starting a new practice. I recommend WRS to my colleagues. I haven¿t encountered any problems with the cloud-based system. Prior to opening my own practice, I used an EMR that was server-based. That system crashed and we couldn¿t work for a day. With WRS web-based EMR I don¿t have to worry about the system shutting down. WRS also has Dragon Dictation integrated in the EMR which has been a huge benefit. It hastens my workflow. I don¿t have to take work home with me. I¿m able to do a faster and more complete exam and can complete everything when I¿m in the office.

Comments: I opened Vital Signs Medical Associates in Middletown, NY with another physician almost three years ago. I specialize in preventive medicine and nutrition. We knew that we were going to use an EMR in our practice. We didn¿t want to use paper charts, because we didn¿t want lost and misfiled charts to decrease our practice¿s efficiency. WRS Billing Services enables me to keep track of all my billing and it¿s very convenient to view it. In addition, it is not expensive. Everything works in sync so that we achieve the maximum coding. WRS ensures that I have the right codes. Our practice is running seamlessly because of WRS. WRS Fax Queue is also very beneficial in keeping the practice organized. It eliminates the problem of lost faxes and charts that may be misfiled. Having a web-based EMR is advantageous. When I am home or if I¿m away on vacation, I can log in and view my patients¿ charts. Patients express that they feel confident that their information is secure and that it won¿t be lost. Another great benefit is WRS e-prescribing capability. It definitely increases my efficiency. I am able to see what medications I¿ve prescribed and to quickly send prescriptions to patients¿ pharmacies. I never spend time searching for dosages because the system provides a list of dosages and I can see what¿s available. This prevents me from making a dosage error. WRS also helped me achieve MU incentive funds. If I have a question, the WRS Team is very responsive. WRS automated Patient Reminders free our staff from making calls to patients. They also reduce our no shows. Finally, WRS EMR system is very easy to learn and to use. Our practice is thriving, thanks to WRS.

Comments: I am the president of Kuraoka Clinic, an Internal Medicine and Family Medicine practice. We looked at a few EMRs, but we selected WRS because we liked the fact that it is web-based and that billing is integrated into the EMR. WRS cloud EMR is very easy to use and WRS offers training videos that you can view online. That made it very convenient for me to learn about the system. I am an interventional radiologist. I was doing the billing until the Office Manager took over that responsibility. She was able to use WRS after I provided the training because the system is so easy to master. I don¿t believe that with any other system she would have been able to handle the billing so effortlessly. The Office Manager finds it very easy to use WRS Billing Module. Based on the note, the system automatically populates the (CMS) 1500 claim form. WRS performs the work for you. WRS provides alerts when you do your notes, informing you about any issues that may have arisen. It will supply the information for the CPT codes. This helps to keep the claim rejection rate low. I am also very satisfied with the numerous reports that WRS generates. I can find out how my company is faring versus previous years. I get the information instantly. It¿s crucial to see how you are doing financially versus previous years. Our A/R is very good and we¿ve shown improvement. WRS has reports that help us to keep track of claims that are pending and find out the reason why they are still unpaid. For example, whether it¿s because the patient didn¿t pay or the insurance company hasn¿t paid yet. Finally, we are very satisfied. WRS EMR works very well. WRS offers ease of use and it¿s fast!

Comments: I began NP Health Services, LLC in Toms River, NJ in late 2009. I am an Advanced Practice Nurse as well as a Certified Wound Specialist, providing weekly wound assessment at four different skilled nursing facilities in Ocean County, NJ. I treat about 40 to 60 patients on a weekly basis. I implemented WRS in 2011. I selected WRS because I was very impressed with WRS ease of use, and the fact that the system is web-based and very accessible. It is also very affordable for nurse practitioners. WRS e-prescribing capability is excellent and it enables me to receive a yearly incentive from Medicare for e-prescribing. WRS helped me to achieve this incentive. WRS Notes are also very advantageous. The note is written well, easy to read, and highlights the most important aspects of the physical exam. I treat the same patients weekly. If something arises that I need to change on their chart, WRS allows me to make changes very easily. I don¿t have to waste time. WRS allows me to review patients¿ medications, and make necessary changes to their medication lists. I can indicate that change in WRS instantly. Finally, WRS training was superb. The Clinical Director, who is a Nurse, is very responsive. If I have a question, I receive an answer immediately. She helped me to use WRS exactly the way I intended and to make the changes to fit my practice. I highly recommend WRS to all providers.

Comments: I founded Greater Carolina Ear, Nose & Throat in 1997. I have three offices in North Carolina where we serve 200 patients a month and specialize in otolaryngology, allergies and sinus. Before I implemented WRS, I was using another EMR. The system wasn¿t easily accessible and it didn¿t offer Meaningful Use management. After looking at five EMRs I chose WRS. WRS is user friendly and it offers robust billing capabilities. WRS also has the certifications that enabled us to qualify for Meaningful Use incentive monies. Having a web-based EMR enables me to access the system from any location and wherever there is an Internet connection. The system is also really affordable. One of the many perks of the integrated system is WRS E-prescribing capability. It provides me with a list of medications and I can keep track of the medicines I prescribe. E-prescribing also lessens the potential for medication abuse, which can occur with paper scripts. The ENT Note Templates in WRS are very comprehensive. There are a variety of ENT templates, and my providers have customized the templates to the exam that they do. I added a skin section to the ENT template since many of my patients have complaints about their skin. I am able to define if their skin is red, inflamed or swollen. I can compare these conditions the following visit. This shows me if they have improved or not and if there are new conditions arising. I also like the pediatric ENT template. It¿s very helpful when you see children because they can¿t always verbalize their complaints. WRS Automatic Patient Appointment Reminders are extremely beneficial. I have seen my staff¿s efficiency increase because they aren¿t spending time making phone calls to remind patients that they have an appointment. Patients get an automatic email and a call reminding them of their appointment. Finally, what differentiates WRS from other EMR companies is the superb customer service and support. Other EMR companies walk away after a couple of training sessions, but WRS provides continued support. The WRS Team is very responsive.

Comments: I am a Practice Administrator and Billing Manager at Connecticut Behavioral Health Associates in New London, CT. Our Psychiatry and Behavioral Health practice has three locations in CT and we have over 20 providers. We went live with WRS in August 2012. Since using WRS Billing Module our revenue has increased. We see very few claims that are rejected. We did not have an EMR prior to WRS. We had a billing and practice management system. I was part of the search team for an EMR and we felt that it was not practical to have two separate companies¿we needed an integrated system. One of the benefits of WRS is that when our providers create their note, WRS creates a claim automatically. We can view the claim, all you have to do is just hit a button and the claim is sent out. Auto posting is also a plus. Having a web-based system instead of a server-based system is very advantageous. I can access WRS when I am at home and I need to do work. It¿s a great benefit to have the convenience of accessing the system from any place at any time. Finally, the WRS Team is excellent. They provide assistance when we need it. They are also very responsive when we need to make an update or we make a request to them to create certain reports for us.

Comments: When I opened my solo family practice in Upland, CA, I wanted a fully integrated EMR and Practice Management system that included billing capabilities. I looked at several systems. WRS was the only software system that offered all of the capabilities I was looking for. WRS is an affordable, web-based system that is accessible from any place at any time. I can access a patient¿s record if they phone me with a problem or question. If another doctor needs to learn something about a patient, I can look in the system and access the record immediately. My cash flow is very good. We have very few rejected claims. I have already received Meaningful Use funds for two years. WRS offered the tools to help meet MU criteria. When I have a patient in the hospital, with WRS Fax Queue, a patient¿s fax can go directly to their chart with ease. I am also performing better documentation with WRS. WRS e-prescribing capability is excellent. The prescription goes directly to the patient¿s pharmacy and the Rx is ready when they arrive at the pharmacy. They don¿t have to wait in line for their Rx. WRS e-prescribing feature enables me to keep a record of the medications that I prescribe. WRS Appointment Reminders are also extremely beneficial. Patients receive an email reminding them about their regular appointments and healthy check ups as well as tests that they need to take. These automatic reminders also save my office staff time so they can perform other duties. Finally, I recommend WRS for its ease of use. WRS has exceeded all of my expectations. It is a truly integrated all-in-one system.

Comments: My solo practice is called WeCare Family Clinic. It is located in Elk Grove Village, IL. I treat approximately 30 patients on a daily basis. The majority of my patients are children. A few years ago I began looking for an EMR. We wanted a web-based system. We felt that a server-based system can have problems. It has a tendency to shut down and updates have to be made. I was seeking a system that would increase my efficiency. WRS is a user friendly, web-based end-to-end EMR. It is very easy to master; my staff found it easy to learn how to use WRS. I am very impressed with WRS lab integration. The labs come directly into the system. This feature helps me increase my efficiency. With WRS I can view the patient¿s lab results immediately. If a patient asks me a question, I can see the test results and answer their questions rapidly. With WRS e-prescribing capability, patients can pick up their prescriptions at the pharmacy almost as soon as I am finished with their exam. All of the Rxs and the date they were written and sent are in the system. I don¿t have to document the patient¿s medications and keep track of Rxs separately. Being able to access WRS from home is extremely beneficial. Patients sometimes call when I am home, in the evening and on weekends. Many times they require a medication refill. I can see what medications they need and instantly send the prescription to their pharmacy. Finally, WRS staff is very supportive. If we have a question we send an e-ticket and we get a prompt response.

Comments: I am the Practice Manager for Heart & Vascular Clinic. We are based in Newark, Delaware and we recently opened an office in Middletown, Delaware. Our two physicians were using two separate systems, an EMR and a Practice Management System. We did not evaluate any systems other than WRS because after a few meetings with WRS we were convinced. WRS was very helpful training us to use the system. WRS customer service is great. When we had questions, they answered them very promptly. We also have a representative and when we email her she replies instantly. WRS Cardiology EMR and Practice Management System increases our physicians¿ efficiency and workflow because we have various templates for the medication notes, cardiology notes, as well as the procedure notes. The ability to customize WRS templates increases our staff¿s efficiency. For example, the technician enters her information when we perform an echocardiogram. The clinic staff performs Coumadin checks in the clinic, and they can enter the information their way. The templates can be customized to meet everyone¿s needs. Our patients are using WRS Patient Portal and reporting that it is user friendly. They enter all of their information, including their social and family history and their medications. Our privacy forms are available on the Patient Portal too. By giving patients access to the patient portal, our staff is free to spend more time with patients at the clinic. WRS Appointment Reminders are advantageous to us and to patients. Patients give us their email and we send them a reminder. By pressing a button, they can easily confirm their appointment or let us know that they can¿t make it. Finally, now that we have another location, having a cloud EMR allows us to look at a patient¿s record simultaneously from the two locations, so that we can talk about everything concerning the patient.

Comments: My practice is Mid State ENT. My partner and I have two offices, one in Hendersonville and the other in Gallatin,TN. We also work at a couple of hospitals and a couple of surgery centers. Every week we each see about 90 patients and our nurse practitioner sees about 40 patients. We had used many different systems over the past ten years, but we were not happy with any of them. We were very interested in obtaining Meaningful Use financial incentives and WRS helped us to meet all of the criteria. We recently received our MU monies. We previously tried to e-prescribe, but with our previous system, it was labor intensive. E-prescribing is integrated into WRS, so it is not difficult to e-prescribe anymore. E-prescribing is convenient for our patients and it enables us to better track their medications. WRS training was superb. We had one-on-one training. WRS tutorials are extremely beneficial, especially the tutorials about templates and how to create them. One of the many benefits of WRS is the Fax Queue. I no longer have a bunch of papers on my desk. Everything comes into our queue. One of the greatest perks about WRS web-based EMR is that we can access it from anywhere. We often get phone calls in the evening from patients who may need more pain medication. It¿s easy to access their records and ascertain whether they underwent surgery and if it is realistic that they need more medicine at this time. Our ability to treat patients at night or on weekends, instead of sending them to the ER has increased patient satisfaction. Finally, I highly recommend WRS. I¿m very satisfied with the templates and the quality of my notes.

Comments: I founded Mental Health Alliance in Alliance, NE in August 2009. I am an APRN and I work with four therapists at four additional locations. I am the sole prescriber. Almost two-thirds of my patients are Medicaid patients. I treat between 15 and 17 patients on a daily basis. I travel back and forth to all of the locations, some of which are 60 miles away. Prior to Waiting Room Solutions I had many problems with my EMR. Their customer service was terrible and I had severe billing issues. After evaluating five EMRs, I selected WRS. WRS customer service is absolutely outstanding. Whenever I have a question, WRS is available. I don¿t have to track anybody down. They respond immediately. Our revenue has increased since using WRS Billing Module. I am getting paid for what I do and I¿m getting paid very quickly. WRS was able to straighten out all of my billing problems. Having WRS web-based EMR enables me to see patients¿ charts from any location at any time. Even when I¿m at the hospital or the emergency room, I can look at the patient¿s records. Waiting Room Solutions' e-prescribing capability is helping me to provide fast service to my patients. It is also helping me to track prescriptions. I can view the day I wrote the Rx, the date it was refilled, and which pharmacy received the prescription. Another beneficial WRS feature that enhances patient care is WRS Patient Portal. My patients receive their test results via the portal and that makes it easy for us to review their test results together. Charting with WRS is very easy. WRS enables me to provide accurate documentation. When students do their rotations at my practice they use WRS customized Psychiatry templates. WRS EHR is very easy and flexible.

Comments: I specialize in chronic care and preventive medicine at my family practice in Maysville, KY. I evaluated several EMRs over a two month period. I was searching for an integrated EMR and practice management system with a billing capability. One of the things that impressed me was that Waiting Room Solutions is easy to use. It¿s very intuitive and it is not difficult to learn how to use it. I also like the way that I can customize my Health Maintenance templates. This feature enables me to work more efficiently since I perform many procedures and I do a lot of joint injections. Waiting Room Solutions' Billing Module is excellent. I started using it in April 2012 and I received my Meaningful Use incentive money four months later. That¿s incredible. I am providing better preventive care and documenting more efficiently because of Waiting Room Solutions. WRS's web-based EMR also allows me to access patients¿ information when I¿m home or on vacation, so I don¿t have to call the office to have someone pull up the patient¿s chart. WRS helps me to get paid for the numerous wellness and health maintenance exams that I perform. It ensures that I code for the appropriate level of service. Finally, if you are searching for an EMR, I recommend that you evaluate WRS. The WRS Team provides excellent training. If you have a question, they answer rapidly.

Comments: I opened my solo cardiology practice in 2003. WRS offered a lot of value for the most reasonable price. The value includes being able to customize the EMR and the ease with which you can chart. I perform a lot of hospital procedures in the afternoon, so being able to finish seeing patients in the clinic in the morning is important. WRS templates help me increase my efficiency. With WRS, I finish my work at my clinic at 1:30, two hours earlier than I did before. Because WRS is web-based and not server-based, I am able to store the stress tests, ultrasounds and EKGs on WRS and I can access these reports whenever I need them. It doesn¿t matter where I am. I can even be out of the country. Having a web-based EMR is very convenient. When I am doing hospital procedures, the hospital nurses can access my clinic records and the patients I¿ve scheduled. If I¿m performing a heart catherization I can get into WRS and see what the stress test showed. This is a huge time saving advantage and it helps to enhance patient care. WRS e-prescribing capability is another perk. I didn¿t know that it was going to be so easy. It takes a lot longer to write prescriptions than to e-prescribe. There¿s also a risk for medication errors with paper scripts as a result of poor penmanship. Finally, WRS has certifications that are trustworthy. Last year I received Meaningful Use Incentive money. My biller uses WRS Services and Billing module. WRS billing staff provides excellent customer service.

Comments: I am the Office Manager of Express Care. My husband is an NP. When we opened Express Care in Texarkana, TX three years ago we wanted a paperless office. We specialize in urgent care, primary care and occupational medicine. Our motto is, ¿If you¿re sick, we¿re quick.¿ WRS is making us more efficient. WRS helps us treat 30 to 40 patients daily, while providing quality care. We evaluated a few EMR systems. Price was a major consideration because we were opening a new business. We were impressed that WRS is affordable and because it is web-based we can access the system from anywhere and at any time. WRS is also increasing the efficiency of our front desk staffer. The EMR is a time saver. It helps us check patients in and keep track of authorizations. It also informs us what the patient¿s copay is and it checks the patient¿s insurance eligibility. WRS templates help us get through the day efficiently. For our weight loss patients all we have to do is click on a follow up and use the outline in the templates. WRS templates for medications, new patients, and women¿s wellness check-ups are also aiding us in increasing our efficiency while providing documentation, which is crucial. Finally, since this was a new business, being able to bill without worrying was a necessity. WRS Billing Module is very convenient. Our billing company can access WRS Billing Module from their office and our staff can easily view a statement to see what has been billed out. We recommend WRS. It¿s a very flexible system and WRS customer service is excellent.

Comments: I opened MBA Physician Services in Huntsville, Alabama six years ago. I have been a hospital CFO, multi-specialty practice controller and an administrator of a cardiology group with 27 physicians. I have evaluated and used numerous EMR and Practice Management software programs over the years. WRS is the best that I¿ve encountered when price is a determining factor. Three of my clients are using WRS. The reason that I recommend WRS so highly is the great value it offers. CPT codes, diagnosis codes and the Medicare fee schedule are preloaded. The NPI database is accessible. The inclusion of search drop-downs within WRS is an advantage as well, rather than having to manually load all of these items. The included practice website with a secure patient communications portal is a tremendous bonus for smaller practices that do not have the resources to develop a website. Integrated Internet faxing is another cost and time-saver for practices. WRS affords one the ability to create reports in-house, without having to involve an outside support team to design and generate reports, saving time and money for the practice. The integration of billing and the EMR is also a great advantage; the physician¿s chart note passes directly to billing. I am impressed with the integration of the EMR and Practice Management because it eliminates the need for third-party proprietary interfaces linking one company¿s module to another. WRS implementation staff is wonderful to work with, usually fielding questions by e-mail without having to submit a ticket to support staff. If I seem overly enthusiastic about WRS¿s product, it is simply that I have endured so many shortfalls of other programs and WRS addresses so many of those issues. And WRS offers a tremendous value financially in addition to its product. There is rarely a day that I do not marvel at the features packed into this application.

Comments: I am the owner and practice manager of Wellness Medical Center in Fredericksburg, VA. Dr. Lisa King is the solo practitioner of this Internal Medicine practice for adults. I have 25 years of IT experience so I¿m pretty demanding when it comes to evaluating EMRs. When I evaluated EMRs I was interested in the systems¿ practice management features. Web-based WRS has a very clean interface and it is very easy to navigate. Charting is so much easier than before and it takes so much less time to chart. Dr. King sees about 120 patients a week. The Physician Assistant sees about 20 to 25 patients a week. Many patients have a wide range of chronic health conditions. We have to send a lot of referrals. We like their inbound and outbound fax capability because it helps our staff perform referral services quickly. My staff is very satisfied with the system because now they can get their work done more efficiently. The office workflow is much more efficient than ever before. I also highly recommend WRS for the excellent training that they provide. Their team is extremely attentive.

Comments: I opened Delavan Pediatrics in Delavan, Illinois in August 2012 after working at a hospital practice for four years. I draw patients from four or five county areas and I am interested in providing patients with integrative, natural and homeopathic treatment options as well as traditional medications. I did a lot of research and I narrowed my search to a few options--Amazing Charts, Practice Fusion and WRS. Initially I was unfamiliar with web based EMRs. I was looking more at the local server based systems. It made more sense for me to keep my start up expenses down. The web based system became very attractive and it made a lot of sense to me. I have a small office and I don¿t have a lot of space to store charts or to have a big server. With a web based system I could login at home. Being the only physician, I am on call 24/7 and having access at home or wherever I am is very important. WRS is a very affordable system, especially when starting out. There¿s just a lot of bang for the buck. WRS was not the cheapest, but it was the best and its features made it worth it. It really came down to an easy choice. WRS was more robust, it had more of what I needed, and it had the flexibility to change if I need it to. I work with an R.N. and one office staffer. I needed an EMR that would make my charting easy. I¿ve used some of the HPI templates that came with WRS and I¿ve modified some of them to my own liking. What I liked about WRS was the ability to customize and build and make those changes while I¿m documenting. Ninety-nine percent of my scripts are sent via e-prescribing. My patients like not having to carry a script and knowing that by the time they get to the pharmacy, the pharmacist has already received the script. There are checks within WRS that pop up, such as warnings, Do you want to do this, there is an interaction? Are you sure about this dosing? I am able to look and make sure that I have everything right. I really liked WRS patient portal and being able to communicate with patients electronically and for them to be able to access the system to update medical information or to schedule appointments. With the portal, they can just get on to schedule their own appointment and send a message for us to see in the morning. I was really looking for an EMR with the ability for the charting and the billing to be connected easily¿a seamless connection and that¿s what WRS offers. I like the integration. With WRS you register the patient and you do your chart and when I go to create a claim it populates the claim form automatically and there are just a few modifications that I have to make. All of the insurance information and codes that I put in the note prepopulate and that saves a lot of time.

Comments: My practice is Orlando Concierge M.D. I launched a concierge patient/physician model of patient care in 2006 so that I would be able to cater to my patients so that they get healthy, stay well, attain longevity and do so while maintaining a youthful, vigorous appearance. Waiting Room Solutions streamlined my concierge model operation, making my practice more efficient. WRS is a patient friendly system, which enables me to provide better patient care.I found it necessary to switch EMR companies three times. When I found Waiting Room Solutions it looked interesting. I went through a few demos and the more I started to look at WRS it seemed to be able to do just about everything that I needed to do. And more importantly, the system was designed by a practicing physician. The templates don¿t look like they need a whole lot of modification because they were carefully designed by a real doctor in the first place. I can go through check boxes and drop down lists and do a history and physical very quickly without having to select phrase by phrase and yet it populates into a note that looks like a traditional physical or traditional consultation note. Waiting Room Solutions also provides my concierge practice with a patient portal webpage in a format that presents a polished and professional image for my practice. The practice patient login page presents a professional and favorable brand image to the patient, to the referring doctor or to a doctor to whom I¿m referring. It gives us a polished look and makes it easier for us to present a polished and professional image to the public, while giving our patients secure messaging, appointment requests, account payment--as well as specialty-specific educational content. WRS will enhance my life because of its interface with Dragon Medical. I have the option of dictating my notes and the notes are machine transcribed, or I can dictate it directly to WRS and elect to have an offsite transcriptionist transcribe it. It comes back to my inbox the next morning for me to review and sign off on. I can put my cursor in the box and start to dictate, and it will automatically dictate to the box, and save the audio file associated with that dictation as part of the record. Customer/technical support couldn't be more helpful: when I ask WRS to explain how to do something, the team responds, `Tell me more. What do you want to do?¿ And if that functionality doesn't already exist, there's usually a work-around available while the function is being added. The fact is, though, that I don't often have to call for support: WRS has a rich selection of "How To" information, both in written form and video tutorials.

Comments: My practice is located in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. When you walk into my office it¿s very quiet. We have soft music playing in the front and you can get a cup of coffee or a bottle of water. There¿s usually not much of a wait time unless there¿s been an emergency and there might not be anyone else waiting there. If you¿re not feeling well, I have you sit in the massage chair, put your head down and turn the light off so you can relax for a little while. We try to make it a calm, peaceful environment. I have been practicing Internal Medicine in the greater Sarasota, Florida area for four and a half years. I care for patients ranging in age from 18 to 103-years-old. It¿s a diverse population comprised of a lot of old and young people with very active lifestyles. I enjoy the breadth of Internal Medicine. My practice has transformed into a hybrid practice where I have some patients who are what I call the `regular¿ patients and some patients who are `concierge¿ patients. I call it my wellness program, because it really focuses a lot on prevention and time. I used an EMR at a previous practice. I had several `must haves¿ on my EMR shopping list. I wanted something that was attainable to get information from home. I was looking for a web based program so that I would have 24/7 access. It was quite important to me with my type of practice to be able to do that on the weekends. Previously, I had a very cumbersome EMR that you had to sign in and have a secure citrix to access it. WRS is so much easier because even if I¿m at home I can pull it up on the computer. I looked at 10 or 15 different EMRs initially based on price and what they had to offer. And then I looked at doing billing, scheduling, and having everything all-in-one, rather than getting different components of a program. I liked WRS initially mostly because of the web based part. I think it¿s nice from the standpoint that I have electronic capability from anywhere and also the patient portal and the billing and that it¿s all tied in together. I tend to like to sit at my desk and talk to patients without typing. The nice thing is that at the end of that visit I can put that information in and I feel that I capture the charges and accurately reflect what the visit was much more than previously with paper charts or with other EMRs. When patients come into my practice I made up an instruction sheet on how to use the EMR to its fullest. They like being able to update their medication list, being able to make their clipboard and provide their history because I tell them to do that if they are going to see other physicians. They really like the patient portal for prescription refills, to request appointments, and to update me with information. A lot of e-mails come in though the patient portal. They like to let me know that they got their reminder for their appointment the next day. Any patient can e-mail through WRS. They can get Rx refills and ask questions. Patients in my wellness program can e-mail me 24/7 through my personal e-mail account. I think it¿s very important that we stay in touch and that they don¿t wait for the annual visit to bring a list of 12 things to discuss. Having that `give and take¿ cuts down on anxiety and also keeps the patient well informed. Now we¿re using the fax queue and it has significantly decreased the amount of ink and paper that I am using and increased efficiency in that we are not grabbing the paper chart, flipping it, scanning it, etc. That¿s wonderful and it¿s so much easier. It has significantly improved the workflow as well as the accuracy of making sure things are put in the right chart. I checked out WRS with a local biller who uses the WRS Billing Module. I particularly like that I put in the charges at the end of the day as I do my note. I can e-mail her and say, `I don¿t know which code to use for this¿ or `please note that this might need to change.¿ It¿s very flawless and seamless without phone calls and faxes. It works very well. If you send a ticket, WRS gets back to you. A lot of the updates WRS has done over the last couple of years have been very useful. Recently, there have been some updates in the medication queue that have been quite useful. I do appreciate those updates. The updates really do help a lot of the different types of provider.

Pros: When I first went through my training I was forced to chart with paper records, and then I gradually transitioned to an EHR system at the hospital where I did my training. This caused me to review many of the best vendors in the industry. In my search, I realized a web-based system was the only thing that would enable me to access patient records regardless of location when I went out on my own. I came across Waiting Room Solutions and they are definitely one of the most user-friendly, web-based systems that I found. The WRS team is very responsive whenever we are having issues. The companies they partner with help me to improve the care of my patients.

Cons: I do not have anything negative to say about WRS.

Overall: I highly recommend Waiting Room Solutions to anyone who is looking for a state of the art EMR system at an affordable price.

Comments: My practice is called Woman To Woman. I founded it in 1975 in Mt. Vernon, Washington. My credentials are APRN, NCMP. When I signed with Waiting Room Solutions they gave me a lower rate because I am a nurse practitioner. That really made the difference. You can make your own templates. I have an annual visit template and a gynecology only visit template. By using templates I know I¿ll end up seeing more patients. When my checks started self posting that saved me three hours of work a day and it also saved my staff work. Patients automatically get an e-mail and phone call to remind them of their appointments. This saves my staff a lot of time. If I need to understand something the WRS team is great at explaining. I send tickets and WRS is always very helpful. The WRS team is wonderful. The webinars are extremely helpful. If I need to understand something, WRS provides instructions, self-guided videos and free webinars. My prior EMR was not helpful. Once they sold the program you were on your own. WRS is 180 degrees out from that. They straightened everything out. WRS automatic appointment reminder system is a feature that boosts my efficiency. Patients automatically get an e-mail and a phone call to remind them of an appointment. This saves my staff a lot of time from having to spend all day making calls. WRS e-prescribing feature goes the extra mile to help prevent errors and it also enhances the practice¿s efficiency. There are fewer errors. It¿s so easy. All you have to do is ask the patient their zip code and the system comes up with a list of pharmacies. Then you type the prescription. Good old written prescriptions were hard to read. Now they are legible. If I enter the wrong directions, the program stops you and asks, `How many pills?¿ If I put the dosage or number of pills the program considers what dosage. I am a member of the clinical faculty of the University of Washington. My students, who are rather computer savvy, were having trouble using my previous EMR as well as EMR systems at other practices where they are being trained. Since I implemented WRS they remark how good this system is and that this is better than what they are using at other health care practices where they are doing their rotations. They love it.

Comments: In February 2012, I opened AG Pain Management in Simi Valley, California, where I specialize in anesthesia and pain medicine. When you¿re starting as a solo practitioner in the beginning every dollar counts. When I compared Waiting Room Solutions to other EMR systems and what I was looking for, this was the best bang for the buck. Having an EMR with templates that can be customized for a pain management practice has made it easier for me to document my patients¿ crucial initial visits. I wanted to customize the EMR templates for the initial visit and follow up with history of present illness as well as assessment and plans. The procedures, which are based on templates, are universal except for the medications. The visualizations are almost the same for locations and needles, those can be templates. I looked at five EMR companies before selecting Waiting Room Solutions. There are not many EMR systems that have the integrated incoming and outgoing fax. For a solo practitioner, Waiting Room Solutions cuts down a significant amount of time and increases efficiencies without even scanning the paper or waiting for the scan. The incoming faxes get uploaded automatically to the EMR and they can be accessed from anywhere. One of the best things about this EMR is the incoming and outgoing faxes because it has significantly made my life as a solo practitioner very convenient. Especially when I¿m waiting for labs, studies, or MRI's and they get automatically faxed and can be visualized right away. My selection came down to what feels or looks comfortable. I liked the presentation and the webinar session helped in deciding the electronic medical records system that I wanted. The presentation looked very comfortable. As the practice gets busier, Waiting Room Solutions EMR will make it more efficient. It eases the staff¿s workload. They don¿t have to spend two to three hours at the end of the day scanning documents. Waiting Room Solutions EMR helps significantly with notes. If I see a patient, a consult note automatically gets faxed out to their primary care physician. It can be accessed from anywhere and by anyone. That does help significantly. Accessibility was one of my criteria in selecting Waiting Room Solutions. Their customer service team is the cream of the crop. If there¿s a problem I generate a ticket with an email, and we send emails back and forth. I haven¿t had any significant problems. The support system has been very helpful. As a solo practitioner you are always working. When your work ends you meet with other physicians. Having Waiting Room Solutions gives me extra time for my personal life and hobbies.

Comments: I am a family physician and I have been practicing for 30 years. I've seen some really horrible EMR programs and most of their reports are unreadable. I got a report from a surgeon I know and trust who really liked his. I found out which one it was and contacted Waiting Room Solutions and asked to get a demonstration. The quality of the final report was really important to me. Waiting Room Solutions final report is to the point and it gets everything that is needed on one page. It looks more professional when I send it to referring doctors. I looked at six EMR companies. Because Waiting Room Solutions was run by a physician it is more physician friendly. Certifications were important as far as getting Meaningful Use and Waiting Room Solutions has them. The system also automatically calls people with reminders so you don¿t have to have your staff doing it. I had employees who spent all day making those calls. They do other things now that I have implemented Waiting Room Solutions. I like Waiting Room Solutions patient portal. It gives patients the opportunity to put in their information and fill our review systems questionnaire before they come in. That helps our medical assistants.

Comments: I couldn't be more pleased with Waiting Room Solutions. The system is so easy to navigate through. I like the way it is set up. It flows seamlessly. Since I¿m a pain management specialist I needed an EMR with customized templates to make my charting easier. Waiting Room Solutions is a great tool. It enables me to customize the templates to my needs. Waiting Room Solutions is a five star EMR. I am so impressed by the fax capability. I give my MRI facility a fax number, which comes directly into the EMR fax queue, and the MRI gets transferred into patients¿ charts. I can¿t say enough about the e-prescribing capability. It helps me to increase patient compliance and to automatically identify safety issues. I don¿t have to worry about the patient losing a script. The script is already there at the pharmacy. It¿s so efficient, and I like the idea of automatic refills. I can check interactions before I e-prescribe and once the interactions are checked; it gives me a better sense of comfort and confidence. Also, the customer service is impeccable. If a problem arises we file a ticket online and someone responds promptly. That¿s one of the features I really like. They make sure that if my practice has filed a ticket for a problem then they will give a response right away. A lot of companies walk away after you sign up with them. Waiting Room Solutions is truly a great partner.

Comments: We weren¿t looking at EMR¿s unless they had a patient portal capability and there aren¿t that many vendors out there that do. One of the biggest things that attracted us to Waiting Room Solutions was the patient portal because it enables all of our patients to do a lot of things online. Waiting Room Solutions patient portal also offers convenience for patients who need to obtain prescription refills. Patients can go to Walgreens at 7 p.m. If they find out that they need a refill, the pharmacy can send an electronic message authorization. General messaging helps us to respond to patients¿ requests. If people are at home and they have a general medical or billing question and we aren¿t open they can ask the question. The messaging component allows people to communicate, whether it¿s about an appointment, a refill, a billing question or a medical question. At least the question is asked and it will be there whenever we open it. Waiting Room Solutions is extremely user friendly. This system combines electronic records and a lot of sharing of information. It was easy to train the employees and patients. Once they get their user name and password and get logged in its fairly self explanatory to navigate around the website. Patients love Waiting Room Solutions. We hear stories such as, "I¿m so glad you have the patient portal because I work nights." "I do shift work." "I¿m a flight attendant." Having the ability to access this system 24/7 for these people is very helpful. Not every job is nine to five, so not everyone can call when we are open. Waiting Room Solutions has so many functions. A patient can print a three page summary that has their family history, medical history, surgical history, social history and pharmacy information. They can take that printout to another doctor or to the emergency room. The Waiting Room Solutions team doesn't walk away. They are partners for life.

Comments: Dr. Emily Gordon started the practice in 2011. Waiting Room Solutions is a true partner in that they helped us with everything from Credentialing to office setup, workflow optimization and implementation of a truly all-in-one Enterprise EHR / EMR solution. It is a true web-based EMR system. The Waiting Room Solutions EMR system has allowed me to go fully paper based from day one. It has helped improve the quality of life for me as well as my staff. They made it extremely easy for me to receive my EHR Incentive money. Waiting Room Solutions is an asset to my practice.
