Very easy to use, really liked being able to log my hours retroactively and getting to export a detailed report of the project logs. Pros It was very easy to use, zero learning curve. I like how you can input time in several ways (either retroactively or start a timer to track time as your doing the task) Cons There is nothing I can really say I did not like about this software. Although I was a user, logging time on someone else's account, so I have no idea of the cost of implementing it. Switched from [Google Sheets](https://www.capterra.com/p/169718/Google-Sheets/) I did start my time tracking by keeping a spreadsheet of my own reports, and kept it throughout the project in order to double-check my billable hours at the end. The feature was essential, so I went looking for a solution. Harvest fit the bill exactly. When I continue an existing timer, it starts the same timer up again, instead of starting a new one "grouped" with it, like most time tracking software - that quickly becomes cluttered and hard to manage. Cons I would like a rounding feature, up to the nearest 5 or 6 minutes, or more options for rounding in general. Switched from [Toggl Track](https://www.capterra.com/p/247745/Toggl/) Toggl makes a ton of useless timers every time I restart an existing timer. Harvest doesn't - it's clean and easy to manage. It has been great as far as that platform is considered. Pros It is simple to use for employees and management. I love that it tracks by week / month. It is a fun platform in the sense that the comments when you try to go back in time are about time travel. I like that it is interactive in this sense. It is a great way to track employee time for payroll. It also integrates well with other products such as meistertask. Cons The set up at first was a bit confusing when adding employees. Whether it’s something you’ve done before, or a brand new project, managing your time can be tricky—especially when working from home. Harvest allows you to track your time per project and per task. This can be incredibly helpful when you’re doing a few different tasks within the same project or for the same client. Not only will this tool help you better track your time, it will also keep you more organized. It even allows you to create invoices directly in the app. Cons You can only track one task at a time, so for those who like to have multiple timers going, this may not be the best tool for you. June 29, 2018 5.0 This is a great product that makes logging time and creating detailed client reports simple. Pros I'm a big fan of Harvest after moving over from another popular app. I really needed a product with a more detailed report of time logged which Harvest does well. It's easy to set up categories and give detailed descriptions for each set of times logged. I love how easy it is to use and the email reminders for when I've accidentally left the clock running is fantastic. The customer service is also great. Cons My only issue at this point is that their timer is in hours and minutes, but the time is reported as a decimal. So instead of showing 1 hour and 18 minutes, the report will show 1.3. Pros It's very easy to use. We don't have to do any training for new employees. There are some good features such as splitting rates for personnel among projects. Reporting has improved over the years. Invoice tracking is good and useful. I really love how is so easy to use and understand. I love the little quotes and the timer mode. It's helped us quote future projects based on the granular detail we're able to capture using harvest on our current projects. Pros The fact I'm abel to efficiently and accurately track my time against a range of tasks I've previously set up makes Harvest a winner. Honestly don't know how we'd operate the studio without it. Cons Sometimes I forget to start the timer, so it'd be great if the app could give a nudge or something similar if a timer is not running. Pros Easy-enough interface. With the time budget input I can easily input the allotted times each project. My team members can see these and those assigned to the tasks can budget their time accordingly for each task/project to keep work within budget. And the total time worked seen on the time entries for the week is great too as it's real time so there's no need to manually add the times. We're using Harvest together with a project management software and it works for us. Cons Sometimes team members add or start the Harvest app and the times worked doesn't show on the team management platform we use unless the time was started within the integrated platform. So the team and our client who checks in there cannot see any time worked from Harvest unless they check on harvest directly. Otherwise, this is a very good time-tracking tool. Cons I like the simplicity, but it's so simple from the users end that I don't feel like I have any control of what my dashboard looks like. Harvest does exactly what I need it too, and it's simple to use. Pros I love how easy it is to see what invoices are outstanding and which have been paid. The graph that tracks everything is super useful too as it allows me to see at a glance how my financial year is looking. Cons It's a little annoying that the time-tracking portion only works with an associated project because with the free version you can only have two I believe, so I use different software for that. There are fun little sayings at the start of each new day's time sheet which puts me in a good mood. Pros Harvest is an excellent time tracking tool that allows my team and I to bill our clients the time we spend on various projects. It's really easy and simple to set-up and maintain and has made tracking our time and expenses extremely easy. Cons The mobile version of Harvest doesn't necessarily satisfy our company's needs because it doesn't have the features that are available on the desktop version.
