Pros This app works well with the project task app that I also use. I like that I can use time management per project and submit to the payer in easy to read invoices. This also allows the project manager to delegate projects to other team members if necessary. Cons The invoices that I need to submit on a monthly basis are quite cluttered. I just hate putting in hours so it's not Harvest's fault Pros I like how there is a chrome extension for it so i can keep track of my hours without a problem. Too bad I don't use it regularly enough and i end up spending an hour putting in information to harvest before I need to submit at the end of the month Cons It's timeconsuming. For a company it can probably be a decent investment if used effectively. Pros I think it is easy to use and thus very useful in tracking the hours spent in each project. Clear and useful for the management to see those numbers. Cons There are probably plenty of features that are not so easy to find, that could provide even more value for the money. Maybe the fact that every worker counts their hours in their own way can still be an issue if not carefully discussed. Harvest made the regular chore extremely easy and allows me to very readily cross-check my invoices with 1099's as I prepare taxes. My first week using it I tracked 80 hours in one day. Pros Very very easy to use. Harvest has a simple interface so almost anyone can get the hang of using it. Pros Simple tool to manage project time. It works for any person or agency that needs software to keep track of the time worked. Harvest easily displays the detail of the time invested and you can generate reports. Cons In our case we could not continue to use it since we needed a software that would be integrated with our workflow (which is a bit complicated). Currently we use JIRA to take control of project incidents and although Harvest has a plugin that integrates with JIRA, we were not able to generate reports as we need it. Very use to use and to learn. Pros It is super easy to use. The jobs you are assigned are prepopulated, so no searching for job numbers. Makes time tracking easy and worry-free. Pros Ability to track time from my desktop and devices works quite well. Ability to track by client, project, and task also helps be understand where my time is spent. Cons I wish you didn't have to use a browser to see and print reports. I typically enter my time manually but I love that I can start the timer and go, and that they'll let me know if I've forgotten to turn the timer off. Pros This product has may options and is at most time customizable for my needs. They call you back and you get a real person who really tries to fix your issue. Cons You have to buy individual licences for each log in and they are pricey. The technical support has to take over your computer which can be a pain, for hours at times if they do not know what they are doing. the other problem, they will spend hours on your computer trying to figure out the issue instead of asking for help which again can be frustrating. Originally, I was just using it to track time, but I love being able to send invoices and bill clients through Harvest as well. The UI is slick and the integration with my other programs has been seamless. Cons I haven't had any issues and it seems like each day I discover more features that make things easier and easier for me.
