Pros This web based software is easy to use and perfect for me being self-employed. I love how I can track my time, create and send an invoice to my client and myself and then mark it paid. It's much more organized than I would be if I was typing up invoices on my own. All of my projects and hours are at my fingertips. Cons I found it a bit confusing to change my role on my bills, but once I figured that out, it was a breeze. The application is very easy to use from both the administrator standpoint (add users, projects, and tasks) and equally simple to use from the end-user perspective. It's is an amazing time tracking software! Cons \-I wish you can have a pricing plan per project, some times I just need it to a very small amount of time. and the only options are monthly payments. Pros I used the free trial of Harvest and I liked how easy to use the software and app was. Despite not having used the app or desktop version before, I was able to quickly set up my tasks in 10 minutes or less. Cons I would have liked the ability to set goals and focus like in the Forest app, basically, get reminders on how much time I have left on a task since I easily get distracted. Review Source Joe G. Obviously if you're tracking at work as a requirement, there's more of an incentive. If you're disciplined, then Harvest is a great, flexible option. Also syncs to Quickbooks/Xero which is a nice feature. Cons Very poor customer service. I've never had as bad of an experience as with Harvest. Wouldn't recommend to anyone based on this. Pros I like that I can create an estimate, turn it into an invoice, it synchs with QuickBooks and everything is just easy. Cons I wish it had the ability to do a partial payment request. Everything is so easy when using it! I mainly use it for project management but the billing function is excellent as well. It allows you to manage unlimited projects. You can assign employees and contractors and you can track the time and apply that time to your project.
