“Pipeline deals for post sales CRM”

OverallOur company uses Pipeline deals for Post sales CRM. We have a lengthy post sales process which includes customer installation of our hardware, online training for customers, subscription renewals with customers and warranty follow ups with clients. In order for us to make our product successful for each customer, it is very important that our team proactively reaches out to the customers regularly to help them out with our product. With each customer attended properly, it results in subscription renewals and product success. Pipeline deals made it an easy task for us. We can schedule our follow ups and add activities in the activities tab every time an interaction takes place. We can also add our custom options and update them on pipeline deals (e.g warranty dates, training status, customer satisfaction level etc). It is easy to see which customers need to renew each month by applying filters.
Pros-The ability to create custom filters and tabs and then search for customers depending on those. -Ability to quickly add activities and then review status or import the entire thing to an excel sheet. -The support has been very helpful. When setting up our helpdesk on Freshdek, we needed all our deals and data organized for us. Pipeline deals support helped us on getting the data in the right format and at the right time.
ConsOur helpdesk is running via freshdesk. We are unable to link freshdesk tickets to our deals on pipeline deals.

“Great for Small Business Sales Teams”

OverallMy company has used Pipeline Deals since around the time they started. We were a very early customer. I started with one sales person and have moved up to about 10 today. The system works great for this size sales team. It's not cumbersome to use as a central system for a small team to stay organized. I highly recommend it to anyone with a sales force in that range. I can't speak to it's scale above that as its my experience up to 10 active reps. They have taken what was a massive set of things reps would need to do in some of the other online systems (lets call it OVERKILL) and boiled it down to activity, opportunities, and centralized performance measurement. Its got all the bells and whistles you need... while not overwhelming you (as the sales manager/owner) or your reps with tons of required extras that clutter their ability to move fast and keep selling.
ProsThe BEST small biz sales relationship management tool we've used (7+ years now every single day) Very intuitive interface. Amazingly powerful API (if you want to code connect it to your own systems) Great customer support team (you talk to real people, in the real office) Extremely powerful list filtering and saved reports tools Constantly adding new features and enhancements to make it more powerful without more "clutter"
ConsThe actual "finished" reporting built-in for sales performance, historicals, trending, etc is lacking quite a bit as far as "management" type reporting goes [its almost all list based reports, no roll ups, etc... you can see everything, but its not presented in any customized executive way, reason I think it works well for smaller teams. But without better aggregation, I dont think it would be fun to manage 25+ reps on something like this]. (It can be done with outside graphing and custom tools using their API but not everyone can do that). Real-Time, Customizable, Formatted Reporting for "summary/trend management" would make this thing a 10 out of 10 !

“It's a bit manual but does what it says on the tin.”

OverallOverall, PipelineDeals works well as a manual CRM system, however, it is very easy for the system to become a mess of conflicting information as third party integrations and automation for menial tasks are close to non-existent. This means that unless users are incredibly reliant on quality control of their data and input, which as human error comes into the process becomes difficult to manage effectively. A suggestion would be to have the system pick up and associate new client contacts with the business domains and suggest in the system where the person should go, rather than defaulting to creating a company that doesnt exist which then has to be manually edited to the correct company.
ProsJourney mapping throughout the deal process was clear and easily traceable throughout the sales cycle. Clear indications of the health of leads as well as the ability to integrate events and notifications into your workflow were definitely a plus point.
ConsIntegration with third-party applications and software is minimal, support is unfortunately only localised in the US so international clients will have significant delays in customer service. Automation is also severely limited, forcing users to be very manually focused in their day to day tasks where other service providers have the ability to automate menial tasks through the platform to increase the time spent on productive work.

“Experiences With PipelineDeals”

OverallMy job as the Marketing Adviser is to schedule appointments for my team. I have only used PipelineDeals the past 4 months. It is an absolutely terrific way to keep on top of deals falling through the cracks, calendar schedules, my tasks and agendas. They even have a phone application. I know once we get all our calendars synchronized my job will be much better. PipelineDeals is a great asset to have to carry on my work, as I work remotely in Minnesota for my team in Southern California.
ProsI love the communication part of the services because you are able to share deals and the tracking capabilities are awesome For instance If I add a Person it will let me automatically create a Company and then from there I can create a Deal and track the progression. The reminders of task, agendas and scheduled meeting calendar reminders allow me to have a flow of business throughout the day. I have so much more to learn - PipelineDeals has training at least two or more times a week and they also supply all different training modules. I have a terrific contact that is a live person for a Success Coach who is more than willing to assist our team.
ConsOne area would be better is that now I know to create the Person 1st and the Company will be created right then, however not all the company information shows and so I need to create and retype all the information again, like the address, phone number, email etc. Then two addresses show up. It would be nice when you create the person you create the company, deal with all pertinent information at the same time - then when you add a new person to the deal all that information populates for them that is attached to the company and deal. Also the ability to isolate the deals lost so they do not show up in the whole list-but they are there so your percentages of win-losses are calculating.

“Newbies Look at PlDs”

OverallExcited to know that this tool is part of a continuum that can save time and improve accuracy. Hopeful that layouts will improve to the point that information is easy to find and easy to read.
ProsCustomization Column selections under the "Agenda" tab allows for flexibility in the "look." Very useful when looking at work in cue. "People" tab provides same flexibility and makes it easy to find leads/contacts for various needs: Status, Source, Activity. etc. For the visually oriented reader the "Calendar" is a great organizational tool and contains all the right information in an easy to read format with optional "Month, Week, Day" layouts. Once one distinguishes the difference between "Contact" and"Lead" the power of the link is tremendous time saver. The "Activities" field is flexible and allows for cutting and pasting data from other sources such as emails. Great tool to track past conversations and to document activity. Many other great features: Search tool, report options, and scheduling feature to mention a few.
ConsThe layout in the "Contact Info" box is awkward and unclear. Contact, Owner, Company (Funeral Home) information is interspersed in an illogical way. The layout of data fields under the "Custom fields-other" bar is massive and difficult to navigate when looking for a specific item. It is a jungle of data fields without a clear path. It appears that to learn how to use specific features of this package you have to leave your current page. It would be helpful to have hint/definitions {drop-downs] embedded with critical fields similar to the "Status:" field. Ex: "Type"-Contact does not link to Digicon, Lead links to Digicon. Takes a lot of time to master the basics.

“Overall PipelineDeals Review”

OverallWe use PipelineDeals to manage incoming new business leads / potential clients. We typically get new requests and then input the information all at once into each category (which is cumbersome-i would love to be able to open person/company/deal as one step, as i have lots to copy/paste into the forms-it would help to have all that possible at once as I get the information piecemeal from emails, linkedin, etc.)
ProsI do like the way I can split out my incoming client roster by deal, person, or company. I appreciate that I'm able to create upcoming tasks based on any of those categories.
ConsI find the way deal/person/company is split out into tabs (and otherwise into a table view) to be cumbersome. I think some deep, clever, interesting, strategic user experience based on how real people would like to use this kind of tool would be key for bringing PipelineDeals to the next level. I also do like that i can bring in LinkedIn bios into PipelineDeals with a Chrome extension, but I do wish two things: 1) i could do that for companies as well as individual people, and 2) i could be offered a way to edit the info quickly before i submit it into PipelineDeals. Example: i use Evernote, and the plugin allows me to choose a page to grab, but before it's done it allows me to change the name of the note, add tags, etc.

“Envizi PD Review”

OverallOverall, PD works sufficiently to meet 80-90% of what we need. The lack of logging of data on field changes do make some reporting difficult.
ProsUI is very intuitive, the excel style dashboard on companies/ deals/ people is great. Its a solid CRM that does most of what you need from a CRM.
Cons1. PD does not log changes made on the fields, and on some part that it does, it is not easily accessible / extract-able to build a report from. I.e. Qualification status at Company level, can be "To be Qualified" -> "1st Qualification Meeting Done" -> "Qualified in" or "Qualified Out". The fact that PD does log field changes, makes it difficult to report on overtime progress. What can be reported on is limited to the current snapshot. 2. No automatically calculated field for Enforcement. i.e. Deal amount is equal to $X from product A + $X from Product B + $X from product C, it will be great if deal amount were to be changed, PD can prompt a message to enforce that the $X from Product A/B/C is also updated and sums out properly. 3. When creating an Agenda, there is an Agenda Type. Once the Agenda is completed, the Agenda Type detail cannot be retrieved, PD will only show the Agenda Title and Description.

“Love this software, VERY handy and useful”

OverallGreat for getting up and running with leads and sales and a database of info. Super fast to respond to training question, etc. Really like these guys.
ProsThis software is very user friendly. You can easily fumble your way through it, and even those who didn't grow up with computers ("pre-millennials"). The functionality is VERY customizable. It is fantastic that the software is cloud based and can be used everywhere, and the customer support is truly an awesome team. I have worked with Pipeline Deals for over 3 years, and I managed an entire team on it. It really is a fantastic sales software and a fantastic company to work with.
ConsThe negative is (which is not super negative these days) is the pricing model of a monthly charge per user. This makes is a little challenging for newer companies to afford it. However, I think they have various pricing models today and some that are more affordable. There is nothing free about this software in the world of free "intro" accounts.

“Pipeline for Commercial construction customer followup, relationship building, and new Clients”

OverallBefore we used Pipeline Deals we were using paper and pen to keep track of our client relationships. These notes were easily lost in the shuffle and we had no hard reminders for us to follow up with our clients. Now we are able to keep our office focused on the needs of our clients and to pursue new business.
ProsThe ease of integrating pipeline into our daily routine when making calls and following up with our clients. With the preset notation in our activity feed it is just a couple of clicks with the mouse to fill out our notes for that client. The ability to share "Deals" and to follow up when one of us is out of the office on a business trip or vacation. When we are on a trip having the app available on our phone is also a very nice feature. There is peace of mind knowing that the hard work to manage relationships with our customers does not end if an employee is fired or quits working for us.
ConsPipeline is not ready to sync with our Go Daddy email account, so we continue to push our emails to our home page in Pipeline Deals. Then we have to make sure they are entered into our activity feed for our customers through the home page.

“A powerful tool for planning sales activities”

OverallOverall I find it a very good tool - my challenge really is just to utilise the full range of features. i.e. I'm sure there are even more great ways I can use it still to be discovered!
ProsIs fairly easy and quick to master the basics, with plenty of extra power available to dig into as you get experienced with the platform. Has allowed me to keep much better track of contacts and my communication / activity with clients and prospects. The ease of setting up different filtered 'lists' (e.g. opportunities, pending proposals, commissioned projects etc.) and easily adjusting filters 'on the fly' is one of my favourite features.
ConsWhen we first imported our data from a different CRM system we did experience some difficulties - with some accounts people associated with different (wrong) staff members. So, I think this is something to talk to the Pipeline Deals support team about proactively UP FRONT - i.e. to maximize your chance of the switchover going smoothly

“More Bang for the Buck!”

OverallHaving used SalesForce.com in prior sales/marketing roles, it is hard to deny SF's dominance and superiority in the CRM space. However, it is equally hard to deny that SF is the highest priced solution available, especially when you factor in the investment of time and consultation fees required to tailor SF for your specific needs and preferences. Given this we began a diligent search through the CRM jungle to determine if there was a CRM solution that offered most of the same capabilities as SF "out of the box", for less money. Our matrix of candidates winnowed down very quickly to Pipeline Deals. PLD provided all of the SF type capabilities that we needed, such as email tracking, mass email tracking, account & deal history management, remote access via iPhone App, Deal stage tracking, customization, and excellent customer service. So, all of the attributes and capabilities that we admired about SF were present in PLD, but for much less money, and with a much easier set-up process, and with a much better and more accessible customer service team. PLD has been an exceptionally good CRM for our needs and expectations at a more competitive price point.
ProsEase of use and capabilities. Customer service. iPhone App. Email Tracking. Email interface.
ConsCalendar doesn't sync with my Outlook or iCal calendars. There is no 'Click to Dial' VOIP option. Historical view under a contact or deal is a little cumbersome and wonky. Does not have SF's capability in customizing the historical view, Person view, company view.

“Good but not Great”

OverallWe used Pipeline deals for both Pre Sales and Post sales operations. The good thing was that it was able to connect to the sales team through emails and telephone thus reducing the effort put in creating deals and leads. The only issue was that since our helpdesk software was from another provider, we could not connect pipeline deals with the helpdesk for post sales operations because of which had to shift out to another platform.
ProsCustomization of fields is very easy and can add as many as you like. Support team was available via chat so no need to call and ask for assistance everytime. Timing was prompt and issue resolved within minutes
ConsSearching for the data became a headache since most of the data was in the customized cells. When exporting data, repeated requests had to be made in order to get data of choice which took week or 2, not good if working on a deadline. Many settings are hidden and require technical support if one cannot find it

“Excellent CRM for sales teams”

OverallWe love it. The API is very robust so anything that can't be done in the app can be coded to integrate and work for our own custom reports and integrations. We were one of the earliest customers and have been using it for 8 or 9 years very actively.

ConsThe morning coffee report lacks data that would be useful for actionable items. Wish it could be personalized and customized to show the data I want each morning. Can't easily see a company's "last activity" in a report if said activity was not directly on the record (example on a person or deal attached to the company... in company list views it would show incorrect "last activity") Permission controls would be great to be more flexible (its all or nothing per user)

“Best fit for our Small Business”

OverallOverall, I like PipelineDeals. It's a good combination of utility, value, and good customer service.
ProsAfter trialing 5 different CRM providers, we found some to be complicated. Others required too much manual entry. For me, PipelineDeals met our requirements because it is straightforward to use. In our experience, PipelineDeals' customer service appeared superior with response time and support. Many CRM companies require you to use their knowledge base and do-it-yourself, but Pipeline Deals offers live chat, email and live support (no automated attendant, you call and a live rep answers!) For our small business, great support and quick answers to our questions encourage us to use Pipeline Deals consistently and use it better.
ConsWish there were more integrations that made it easier to connect to other programs. I also think the mobile app could be better.

“There is NO other option than Pipeline Deals for CRM as far as our company is concerned!”

OverallWe have been a customer with Pipeline Deals for many years. We are extremely pleased with the quality of customer service and continued growth and development of the application. Pipeline Deals is such a useful tool that we not only use in our global ministry, but also our Christian Resort and multi-national corporation. We have NEVER had any downtime or experienced any inconvenience, so Pipeline Deals has EARNED our 100% trust as our preferred technology tool to manage all of our contact data.
ProsFlexibility, accessibility, ease in use, automation, simply import/export features, mobile use,
ConsIn next release, I recommend having a user-defined access level for Executive users to ONLY have access to certain work-groups assigned to them for certain projects, and not limit this feature to Managers with users that work directly under them.
Recommendations to other buyersThis is the BEST CRM product that I've seen on the market its a powerful tool. Make sure you use ALL the features that are offered to you to maximize this awesome application.

“Pipeline Deals Fan”

OverallI manage a global sales network. I use PLDs to manage their sales process across many time zones and geographic locations. This tool has helped greatly to understand what is happening and where.
ProsI have been using PLDs since 2010. It took me about two days to set up a custom sales tool that meets our specific needs to manage the sales pipeline, and I am not particularly technical. Sales Force told me that I would need a consultant and about 2 weeks to get this done. Over the past 8 years PLDs has implemented many refinements and improvements and new features. Underlying all of this is the excellent support provided in the form of the knowledge base, video tutorials that are byte sized, and support agents who are knowledgable and personable. I can buy software from anywhere. My choices are based on what happens when I have a problem. Pipeline Deals excels at providing great support!
ConsThis is not really a PLDs-created issue, however I use LinkedIn to generate leads by importing a contacts picture, email address, phone number etc. Around 2014, LinkedIn has changed their code and PLDs was unable to support this feature. I really miss that feature.

“A Great CRM Tool for Small Teams”

OverallOverall, the service has been invaluable to us as a small organization. Especially in a small company that experiences turnover with apprentices and interns coming through in sales roles, it has been extremely easy to make sure conversations are not ignored or missed.
ProsThe ability to cc the service on emails and have the contact immediately integrated and updated in the Pipeline dashboard is extremely helpful to track not only yourself but the rest of your team and progress on past and current conversations. Additionally, the ability to add contacts directly from LinkedIn makes it very easy to add contacts with extra steps.
ConsIt is easy to get unorganized on the platform and once that starts, it can be a challenge to get everything back on track. Because the search bar is very exact in its search results, it can be easy to miss targets with different potential spellings or with apostrophes and other symbols in their names which can lead to creating duplicate profiles that go unnoticed for some time.

“Enabling your salesforce without bogging them down in process”

OverallPipelines solves the issue of providing the reps with an easy to use and quick solution to account and deal management whether in the office or on the road which provides no excuse for not adding relevant data as it happens or shortly afterwards resulting in more time to sell and more available data for management.

“Modest tool that offers great support”

OverallWe could personalise Pipelinedeals enough to suit our needs as a company, specially in terms of sales information management, we did not acquire the CRM tool yet . We are able to manage our deals and leads in a centralised way. I strongly recommend this tool, it is modest but effective. I strongly believe the team behind it is passionate about their jobs. They are releasing new functionalities every while and customer service is excellent. I think it is the perfect fit for small/medium companies.
Pros-Great support service, friendly, fast & effective -Easy to learn, it has a lot of potential to personalise it depending on the company needs -Great value for the price, specially if we compare it with other software, much more expensive and in which the learning time it is a bit longer
Cons-Constraint in terms of reporting, they have developed an API for excel to export personalised reports, however I believe more functionalities around reporting should be developed -Tutorials and webinars are mainly focus for beginners, it would be nice if you develop some more customer support for those who have been using the tool for a while, I believe the tool is a bit lack of this kind of material

“Pipeline Deals is a Great CRM!”

OverallPipeline deals has been very accessible, it's very affordable compared to other products, and now that they have their new app, there's not much to complain about. Customer service has been great, and it doesn't have many glitches.
ProsHere's what I like about pipeline deals: First, it has a very intuitive user experience - it makes sense. Second, It is very customizable so that you can tailor it to exactly what information you're looking for. Third, it integrates with Mailchimp which we also use. Fourth, you can easily search companies, people, and deals as separate items.
ConsI wish that it would have a little bit more integration with other programs. It has some integrations, but for instance, it does not integrate with our project management software so we can't automate certain functions that in a perfect world, we could.

“A great, simple CRM”

OverallHaving used some of Pipeline Deals competitors, including one of the biggest names in the CRM field, I find Pipeline deals to be a perfectly suitable CRM option with great user support.
ProsPipeline Deals has a clean interface. It's easy to use, and from the perspective of a manager, it's the sort of thing that somebody who isn't too technical (or organized) can still use efficiently. At the same time, for people who are excited about CRM functionality and drilling into client data (like me) there are some powerful tools to really target exactly the set of clients you want. I also like the fact that when you call user support, a real human being answers the phone who is able to resolve your issues for you on the spot.
ConsThe only real issue I have with Pipeline Deals is I'd like a way to set priority on tasks either by colour code, or being able to drag and drop their order top to bottom on the calendar and agenda.

“Functional and Nible”

OverallWe're better able to keep track of our contacts throughout the City across multiple team members as well as track long term projects and assign various tasks to team members. We're also able to report out our progress which is helpful in making sure we're on target to meet our goals.
ProsThis software is easy to use and customizable. It doesn't cost as much as some of their competitors, but does a ton to track deals and projects. I also very much appreciate the ability of their programmers to incorporate a suggestion fairly quickly and they are always looking for ways to improve the software.
ConsIt can be a real pain to input all the information from business cards we receive. It would be super helpful to have an integration that allowed your phone to take a photo and scan in the information to upload to Pipeline Deals.

“CRM Review”

OverallOverall it's been pretty good. They are responsive when you call and are willing to help you through any issues. They don't always have the answer to the problem....but they do all they can to figure it out when possible. There are probably more thorough CRM's out there......but bang for the buck, I have to think pipeline deals is one of the best "values" out there. Most of the CRM's we looked at had a lot of cool features that nobody would ever use. We didn't want to pay for things our reps weren't going to use.
ProsIt's a great customer data base software. Very easy to use and user friendly. If you know Excel at all....it will be easy to pick up on this.
ConsLacks for producing many sales graphs or tracking demos to specific customers. You have to somewhat trick the system for you to know who you demoed to and when.

“Good Stuff Right Here”

OverallThe only problem I have with Pipeline deals is, there is so much to learn to take advantage of ALL of the benefits of Pipeline Deals. I don't mean in a bad way, I mean I am using Pipeline to the max for what I need it for. I would love to learn more, but time is an issue. Other than that, This is one of the best deal tracking systems I have used. Being in the sales industry for 30 years, that is saying a lot. Oh yeah, your support team Rocks. Our representative is one of the kindest, most attentive person you have working there. You have had her in sales & support, among other things & she NAILS IT every time. This is big , she actually asks if she could call or email back if she doesn't know the answer off hand (which is almost NEVER) so she can give you good information. LOVE HER. She is AWESOME. Pipeline deals is SOOOO LUCKY she doesn't live in the TAMPA area of Florida or I would steal her from you. Even if it meant losing money. Just to have her on my team

“Jeff Abel's Review of PLD (Company - Heating Green)”

OverallOverall, I've had an excellent experience. Their customer service is very prompt and helpful if you ever have an issue. There are numerous plug-ins available from 3rd party vendors if you want additional functionality (eg click to dial).
ProsPLD is intuitive to use and it can be customized to best fit what you need. Console management is great to use, it's easy to set tasks and follow up with leads. PLD syncs with our email (Google Platform) and so it's simple to track emails through the CRM and see the activity history. Logging calls and other manual data entry is straightforward. As with most CRMs there's multiple ways to accomplish and manage what you need, I personally find the "Deals" console (customized to the fields that I want to see) is the most useful, and tasks associated with deals are sorted in chronological order. Deals without tasks show at the top of your console (eg hot deals ready to close). Ability to color code with the status also helps with prioritization.
ConsReporting capabilities are not as robust as I'd like. For example, you can currently only set parameters on a report based on a positive value and not a negative value i.e. "if ___ = "XX" ~versus~ if ___ does not = "XX" " There are also a few minute glitches in the system, and a few areas which efficiency can be improved (eg when creating a deal, have the primary contact on the company auto-fill into the contact field on the deal).

“Perfect for us”

Overallwithout this software, we have no better way to manage communication with customers, we are dealing with hundreds of new and old customers everyday, and we only need 2 or 3 employees to do that. everything is recorded in the deals and we know what is going on (without relying on our memories). Communication between team members is fanstasic, we dont even have to work side by side to communicate.
ProsNice and simple design, easy to use, lots of useful function, easy to customize, great support. what else? almost perfect, our team rely heavily on this software everyday to deal with hundreds of clients and so far it has never disappoint us
Consnot too sure.. maybe cannot 100% customise the function. but this is not an in-house built CRM and so far it works perfectly for me and i believe it will do for many small medium business.

“Success through Pipelines”

OverallVery, very positive. I would not have the success we had without this product. It allows for great follow up on leads. I would always tell people to use this product.
ProsIt was written to be user friendly and effective. It is organized and allows the user to use many different options. This customization is very effective. Since I am the only person which does marketing for my company I need something like this to help stay focused. As you know marketing is a hurry up and wait situation so this software allows me to me very effective when I am in that "marketing mode".

“Good CRM for the price”

OverallI like Pipeline Deals. I think they are a great basic sales CRM. Easy to navigate and search.
ProsI really like how you are able to have all notes and conversations in chronological order from the deal/contact page. It helps you stay on top of what is going on with the individual or deal. The system is not overwhelming like a lot of other CRM systems i have used. I think it would best fit with small-medium size sales teams.
ConsI really wish that there was some type of automatic customer engagement built in. Maybe some a text messaging feature. Also, I wish that we could be contracts in the system that can automatically go out using a signing service. From what I know, these features are offered.

“Using Pipeline”

OverallPrimarily keeping track of leads, where they are in the process, and occasional mail campaigns
ProsPipeline is a relatively easy to use platform for CRM, sending out email campaigns etc. Most of us want simplicity when using these and pipeline does provide that. Has just the features and needs that one looks for without being overly complicated.
ConsI like it but I think colleagues that maybe like features, more tech etc think it is too basic or that one would need another platform to do campaigns like a mailchimp/constant contact. Maybe the platform could be clearer about how that works and whether a company needs to use another mail feature when they can do it all on Pipeline. Im not sure about that.

ProsIt's integrated with QuickBooks Online. Paperwork can be uploaded to deals or people so everything needed can be kept in one spot. The activity timeline makes finding information easy and accessible for everyone. Permission can be given to or restricted for certain users.
ConsThe lack of automated functions. Calendar only gives one color per person (which cannot be chosen by the user), which sometimes makes it difficult to navigate one's own schedule. "Customers" is a bit useless for what we do here.

“Great Program to keep you Organized!!!!”

OverallWe are constantly having to call set appointments and followup calls with our clients and without pipeline I would be lost. The days of the black binder and writing down all the appointments is over. This way when I update something my whole team can see the update so they don't repeat the process I just completed. If you don't have a system in place that keeps your clients informations safe, organized, and easy to manage get this one! If you do, through it out and get this one!
ProsIt keeps everything organized and easy to update. You don't have to go to edit and then save just simple click on what you would like to update and hit enter. We have numerous appointments and we have to be on time, pipeline keeps me on time!
Consthe reports could be a little bit more user friendly, I would like to run a report for a certain entry without having to select the whole field and it doesn't seem to want to do that. other than that it is a great tool for our business.

“Affordable Option with a Few Drawbacks”

ProsPipelineDeals is a fairly full-featured CRM at a very reasonable price. While the interface can be a bit convoluted and reporting perhaps more complicated than necessary, the support team is very responsive and the development team seems to continually work on improvements and adding functionality.
ConsPipelineDeals REALLY needs easier options for finding and merging or eliminating duplicates. This functionality is sadly lacking in what is otherwise a fairly friendly and cost effective CRM, and has been missing since we began using the product several years ago. Discussions with Support Staff have not been fruitful in this being added to the development list.

“South African views”

OverallPipelineDeals has brought structure and order to our sales efforts. We are also easily able to migrate a pipeline from one resource to another if a person leaves. Finally it has given us a very clear view of the size and status of our pipeline
ProsThe ease to setup the software based on our requirements. At the time the requirements were fairly basic, however this increased over time and PipelineDeals could adapt to our growing needs easily. We achieved the end goal of having PipelineDeals the centre of our sales activities.
ConsWe weren't able to do revenue forecasting based on what the company wanted to see. Perhaps it is more a fact that we haven't been able to find the feature within PipelineDeals as yet.

“Perfect for small business”

OverallP.D. has allowed us to organize our client contacts, track our sales pipeline, and overall better manage our direct sales program.
ProsWe've used Pipeline Deals to create the very first CRM for our small business. It's helped our sales pipeline become much more organized and enable better tracking of projects from lead to close. It's extremely easy to use, especially toggling between contacts and deals, and creating a new person/company/deal all at once. I export the data to create sales reports, and have been happy with the smoothness of that process. We've also recently started using MailChimp for email campaigns, and the two programs communicate well.
ConsThe price per user license isn't cheap, so we haven't set up everyone in the organization - only the 2 key personnel. With the email integration, a good number of emails get attached to the wrong deal. The algorithm reads the names of other people in the company and attaches them to other deals, so I intermittently have to clean up the data, which is somewhat time consuming. Haven't figured out a way to avoid this. Also, I'd like to be able to save different list views more easily than the software allows. Overall, very few complaints!

“Pretty Good CRM for the money with good customer support”

OverallPipeline Deals is a reasonable CRM. I've used SalesForce, Hubspot, Insightly, and Zoho. Pipeline Deals rates well with all of the above. I would argue its Deals section is superior to anything else I've tried. On the downside, I believe other CRMs have done a better job with linking the organization with the person globally. E-mail is decent, but there is not a good way to take an incoming mail in from my email client to the contact record. Outgoing email works well and lets me use my mail client so there are not messy third part integrations needed to make my out-bound emails look professional.
ProsThe customer support is good. I like the Deals section. I think it is excellent the way it organizes the sales pipeline.
ConsThe connection between company record, deals record, and individual record. Something seems awkward about it all. The information about the person's company and their names do not always seem linked among these three parts of the database.

ProsI am in the personal financial services industry so not all of the features pertain to my use, but I still use Pipeline deals extensively for tracking my pipeline, prioritizing my pipeline and for a log to make notes for not only prospects but my current clients. The task feature and the to-do reminders are valuable and time saving.

OverallThe in-depth data given to the CRM is painful at times where you need to create Company, People and Deal all the time. This can be reduced or connected or needs more automation and connections between each one of them needs more intelligent connections or something .. Overall, Satisfied and happy with the way it handles every lead and its associated info. Need sound, trigger enhancements or something that connects to your actual computer etc.
ProsThe to-do's scheduling and the options it gives out to the user to specify whether its a plain to-do, a scheduled appointment/meeting, a call or a follow-up call or email or perhaps important notes. The overall reminders the structure of to-do's with the option to set it for a date is nice.
ConsI won't least about this software but the reminder or follow-ups or to-do's should be popped out or make a noise or something as a alert like what Outlook does ..

ConsThe Activity section in deals and people: I would love if I can use templates or format the text, and even more important, I would love to be able to search easily (currently I have to keep opening past activities by clicking on "show more" and spend time reading all of them instead of searching by keywords or a date. “Affordable, customizable, user friendly CRM.”

ProsMy only experience with a CRM was at a fortune 50 company. It was an in house system that was so difficult to use that no one used it. The 7AM Monday sales meetings were spent trying to understand what each person had put into their CRM and why it was reporting correctly. Needless to say- having and using a CRM was never on my to do list. Having hired an outside sales consultant to build our sales team, I was told a CRM was imperative. Having looked at a few, pipeline deals was recommended to me from a friend in EO. The big guys are way too expensive and bloated for what we needed. Pipeline deals has exceeded my expectations on all fronts. With regards to using the software and its capabilities, I feel like I just opened Excel and am thrilled to learn about the SUM() function. I haven't tapped into the full features offered yet, but I know they are there when we are ready. As for now, I'm very pleased, and everyone can use the software without any training.
ConsIt would be nice if there was a slightly less feature rich program at a reduced price. Again, compared to other CRMs, this one is a no brainer. I would say training, but there are a ton of videos and emails asking if I need help and that's all on me for not taking advantage.

ConsI use this platform for CRM and so the inability to customize the homepage is not great. There are many gadgets that are visible that I dont want to see. Being unable to not easily remove deactivated contacts from client page makes it confusing for new users. Client page summary field does not really allow for formatting including word formatting or tables Reporting on sales for the year using the reports table is not great or easy to use

“Pipeline Review February 2019”

OverallThe benefits I have realized is that this is my CRM. I am able to see all of my clients on one website. This is helpful for me to focus on open deals with to-do lists, have a calendar/agenda of what is due and when, and project how much money we could be making with the deal tracker on my dashboard.
ProsI like that my client base gets my blasted emails.
ConsI don't like that my company has only a select few of "Administrators" that have access to our entire database of clients. Therefore it is inefficient, in a sales office, to have a hold on this information. When I look for new business, I have to wait days for the "Administrator" to provide me with if this is open business or another salesperson is already working with them.

OverallWe really rely on Pipeline to grow TeamFloral. From the beginning the customer service team has gone above and beyond in addressing the remarkably few issues we've had. When we've lost salespeople Pipeline gave us the ability to seamlessly shift those prospects to new staff and keep our sales process intact without costly hiccups.
ProsPipelineDeals makes the job of managing our sales calls so simple. It naturally focuses our sales team's efforts....always moving leads forward to a resolution. Management loves it because they can see exactly where the team stands in achieving its goals.
ConsI'd love it if the training videos were easier to find....new staff always seems to have trouble with this.

“Excellent Value!”

OverallOverall our daily use of Pipeline is second nature. Since the product is not overly complex it is easy to teach to new employees and easy to use on a day-to-day basis.
ProsPipelineDeals is very easy to use. I like how the deal, company and people as well as all communication to with the people is rolled into one easy to read page. Adding new fields is also very easy to do - as well as adding new lines to the fields.
ConsWhat I like about PipelineDeals is that it isn't as complex as other CRM systems. With that said - there are some workarounds - like adding communications with people via bcc on email - that are very cumbersome and not intuitive.

“Review”

OverallWe have all our deals for all the sales people in one place. The deal entry should allow for you to show all aspects, line multiple term and rate offers, step rate offers, without hgaving to place them into the summary section.
ProsSoftware is easy to use, but could be more explicit in each category.Example , in stage category, there should be an update section instead of having to go to activity or the deal summary.
ConsThe software falls short in allowing you to input all information needed for the deals. consequently you have to fall back to the summary and expand on the deal there. Example , deals with multiple term offers.

“PipelineDeals Review”

OverallI'd say our company has had a good overall experience with PipelineDeals. The pricing is reasonable and we are able to track our business efficiently with few hiccups.
ProsIt is a useful system to keep you organized with reasonable functionality. Deals feature really helps you to keep track of your business and pipeline and where it came from. Setting reminders in the calendar is extremely useful.
ConsSome issues with functionality once there are too many sources or dropdown options. Issues from that force you to contact customer service, which can be spotty at times due to the process of their customer service with tickets.

“Experience user”

OverallOverall experience with Pipeline deals would be in the middle of satisfy and unsatisfied. If the issues that I can across were handle with more concern and fixable, then I would be 100% satisfy. I feel that the issues I can across will not be fixed and this is why I am 50/50.
ProsPipeline Deals has the right idea when it comes to a CRM for small businesses. What I liked most about this software is how well it works with Excel. Some people look at excel data sheets and get overwhelmed. Pipeline deals shows your data in a more friendly, easy to read and understand your data. It allows you to manage your contacts, emails, sales, calendar, meetings, etc. All of your work in one place which makes managing your sales easier, and connect with your customers on a more personal level, this allows you to meet your clients goals, needs, and wants.
ConsPipeline deals has an error message that reads, You've reached the 10,000 record display limit. Set filters to narrow your results. This is not helpful at all for anyone. Pipeline deals is not compatible with an old outlook app, and outlook calendar does not sync with pipeline deals, this is inconvenience and hard to keep up with syncing pipeline deals calendar to the outlook calendar. I dislike the fact that you have to use an IMAP outlook account. Pipeline deals does not allow you to track emails when you add people to your cc, it only allows you to track one email contact at a time, unless you create a campaign, which in most cases, we rarely do this. Pipeline deals customer support line only limit to basic knowledge on how to do something, if there is a technical issues beyond that, the C.S.R then needs to create a case and have someone get back to us, and in most cases, the technical person can not help.

“Great price, desktop version is excellent, app needs some work”

OverallIt's been very positive. I started using Pipeline Deals individually, then my company went to it as a whole when seeing the benefits.
ProsIt's clearly made by those who know what is needed in a sales process, especially larger deals with multiple contacts. The reports are excellent as is the amount you can customize the information you need to see.
ConsI don't like the mobile app at all, in fact, it's virtually worthless. Granted, I may need to check the latest updates and see what improvements have been made. I have a lot of time at my PC and the main thing coming to my phone are appointment reminders.

“Pipeline Works!”

ProsPipeline has so many different features that are wonderful for tracking different areas of Sales. I am certain not all of them are utilized, but it is nice to know they are there And the responsiveness of the crew when you have a glitch in the software. Very knowledgeable.
ConsThe date sorting. It is limited in how to get the dates on reports swiftly or comparison of years. OR maybe, It is operator error on my part and I just do not do it right. If that were the case, I am certain that the group at Pipeline would direct me in the right direction swiftly as that is how they are!

“It does exactly what we need it to, brilliant system!”

OverallWe all love Pipeline Deals here at Fluent Headquarters. It does exactly what we need it to. Great, customisable dashboard to keep track of all our Deals and excellent email management integration to make sure all external emails we are sending and receiving stay tracked within Pipeline Deals. It's simple to use and doesn't over complicate something that shouldn't be complicated!
ProsGreat customisable Dashboard. Easy external email management. Task management is so simple. Love the custom fields!
ConsIf I had to be picky I would say it would be good to have more custom fields we currently only have 20 on our plan but we could just upgrade to premium so there aren't any cons really!
Recommendations to other buyersIf you are looking for a piece of software to manage your contacts and keep track of account management tasks then I would highly recommend this product. Simplicity at it's finest!
