My overall experience with Pipeline Deals has been good. I have been using it for almost a year and it has been fairly easy to learn how to use and fills the needs for the job.

Pros

The think I like most about this software is that provides a wide range of information that we can track regarding our customers and that is fairly simple to use.

Cons

There are some features that I would like to see work better such as carry from one field on one screen to another and a better way to search for information.

Pros

Pipeline keeps me really organized. Before I started using it, I tried to keep all of my contacts in a spreadsheet. Pipeline makes it easy to track my relationship with leads, send out mass emails, and stay organized. It keeps me on top of my leads, making it easy to see when the last time I contacted each person was.

Cons

There’s not much I don’t like. I wish you could preview campaigns before sending them (there may be a feature that I just haven’t seen).

Keeping all of our opportunities organized and following up with customers throughout the sales process is a snap (from the desktop site)

Pros

The automation feature is a massive time saver for our team. The leads come in through our website and get distributed to our sales team with no data entry required!

Cons

The mobile app doesn't meet our needs. We want to open a quote request (lead) from the web2leads form and reply quickly by using one of the many templates we have saved on the desktop site. From the desktop this is a snap, but on the app it's just not possible.

We don't use all the features, as we have an extremely short lead/purchase cycle. We also don't need to track how much $ we make through every lead. But I'm sure those features are nice to have for those who do.

Pros

This program is easy for users to begin using and to travel to different pages/functions. We also like that the report function can be customized to our needs then exported for use in other ways (mailing list, follow-up, etc.)

Cons

There used to be a feature to schedule follow-ups with leads onto a personal calendar. That was helpful and would like to see that come back.

Overall, I've had an excellent experience. Their customer service is very prompt and helpful if you ever have an issue. There are numerous plug-ins available from 3rd party vendors if you want additional functionality (eg click to dial).

Pros

PLD is intuitive to use and it can be customized to best fit what you need. Console management is great to use, it's easy to set tasks and follow up with leads. PLD syncs with our email (Google Platform) and so it's simple to track emails through the CRM and see the activity history. Logging calls and other manual data entry is straightforward. As with most CRMs there's multiple ways to accomplish and manage what you need, I personally find the "Deals" console (customized to the fields that I want to see) is the most useful, and tasks associated with deals are sorted in chronological order. Deals without tasks show at the top of your console (eg hot deals ready to close). Ability to color code with the status also helps with prioritization.

Cons

Reporting capabilities are not as robust as I'd like. For example, you can currently only set parameters on a report based on a positive value and not a negative value i.e. "if \_\_\_ = "XX" ~versus~ if \_\_\_ does not = "XX" " There are also a few minute glitches in the system, and a few areas which efficiency can be improved (eg when creating a deal, have the primary contact on the company auto-fill into the contact field on the deal).

Pipeline deals creates an easy, user-friendly, & fairly comprehensive way to keep track of customer data, customer relationships, and job progress. It offers a wide variety of tools to help plan, track, communicate, and understand how to improve. Great tool.

Pros

It's integrated with QuickBooks Online. Paperwork can be uploaded to deals or people so everything needed can be kept in one spot. The activity timeline makes finding information easy and accessible for everyone. Permission can be given to or restricted for certain users.

Cons

The lack of automated functions. Calendar only gives one color per person (which cannot be chosen by the user), which sometimes makes it difficult to navigate one's own schedule. "Customers" is a bit useless for what we do here.

Pipeline Deals was a fantastic experience, incredibly simple and easy to use and very beneficial for our sales team.

Pros

It's simple, easy to learn, versatile, and is an all around great CRM for basic uses. While it may lack some of the super technical features of other CRMs, Pipeline Deals is fantastic for anyone looking to use a CRM for what its best used for: tracking pipelines and revenue.

Cons

The "deals" layout was confusing for many of our executive team.

I like Pipeline Deals. I think they are a great basic sales CRM. Easy to navigate and search.

Pros

I really like how you are able to have all notes and conversations in chronological order from the deal/contact page. It helps you stay on top of what is going on with the individual or deal. The system is not overwhelming like a lot of other CRM systems i have used. I think it would best fit with small-medium size sales teams.

Cons

I really wish that there was some type of automatic customer engagement built in. Maybe some a text messaging feature. Also, I wish that we could be contracts in the system that can automatically go out using a signing service. From what I know, these features are offered.

P.D. has allowed us to organize our client contacts, track our sales pipeline, and overall better manage our direct sales program.

Pros

We've used Pipeline Deals to create the very first CRM for our small business. It's helped our sales pipeline become much more organized and enable better tracking of projects from lead to close. It's extremely easy to use, especially toggling between contacts and deals, and creating a new person/company/deal all at once. I export the data to create sales reports, and have been happy with the smoothness of that process. We've also recently started using MailChimp for email campaigns, and the two programs communicate well.

Cons

The price per user license isn't cheap, so we haven't set up everyone in the organization - only the 2 key personnel. With the email integration, a good number of emails get attached to the wrong deal. The algorithm reads the names of other people in the company and attaches them to other deals, so I intermittently have to clean up the data, which is somewhat time consuming. Haven't figured out a way to avoid this. Also, I'd like to be able to save different list views more easily than the software allows. Overall, very few complaints!

Very, very positive. I would not have the success we had without this product. It allows for great follow up on leads. I would always tell people to use this product.

Pros

It was written to be user friendly and effective. It is organized and allows the user to use many different options. This customization is very effective. Since I am the only person which does marketing for my company I need something like this to help stay focused. As you know marketing is a hurry up and wait situation so this software allows me to me very effective when I am in that "marketing mode".

Cons

This will sound funny however they always try to improve the software where I honestly believe for me, it is as close to perfect as I will get.

The benefits I have realized is that this is my CRM. I am able to see all of my clients on one website. This is helpful for me to focus on open deals with to-do lists, have a calendar/agenda of what is due and when, and project how much money we could be making with the deal tracker on my dashboard.

Pros

I like that my client base gets my blasted emails.

Cons

I don't like that my company has only a select few of "Administrators" that have access to our entire database of clients. Therefore it is inefficient, in a sales office, to have a hold on this information. When I look for new business, I have to wait days for the "Administrator" to provide me with if this is open business or another salesperson is already working with them.

I generally am able to follow along with deals via email and jump into PipelineDeals when I need to discuss specifics. I'm not a power user so I don't have a strong need for additional features or tools and the core function of collaboration with my team is great.

Pros

I like the new mobile app. I think it's more useful than the previous one and is easier to navigate to different deals and activities, especially when clicking from emails.

Cons

Finding and commenting on deal activity is a challenge at times. I sometimes try to view a comment thread on an active deal and find the latest activity but it doesn't feel very intuitive to find this.

It is super easy to use and we have been using it for around 6 years at this point. Definitely is not salesforce but you're not paying for salesforce and I don't think we would get that much extra value out of salesforce. They're support is good.

Pros

It is great for tracking of deals before closing and through the entire sales process to the close of it.

Cons

Is not a true crm for operational business purposes. We use another crm for current clients but that does not come close to what we can get out of pipeline upfront.
