My overall experience with Sage Intacct has been really positive. It makes managing accounting, financial data, and reports feel much more organized. I like having everything in one place and being able to quickly find the information I need. The reporting features are especially helpful for getting a clear view of the business. It took a little time to get familiar with the system, but once I got the hang of it, things became pretty easy. Overall, Sage Intacct has made financial tasks more efficient and less stressful, and I’d definitely recommend it.

Pros

Sage Intacct has been a really great accounting solution overall. It makes managing finances, reports, and everyday accounting tasks feel much more organized. I like how easy it is to access important financial information and keep everything in one place. The reporting tools are especially useful for getting a clear picture of how things are going. It can take a little time to learn all the features, but once you get comfortable with it, everything feels pretty straightforward. Overall, Sage Intacct is reliable, flexible, and a solid choice for businesses that want to simplify their accounting.

Cons

One downside of Sage Intacct is that it can take some time to get used to. There are a lot of features and settings, so it might feel a little overwhelming when you first start using it. Some of the customization options can also require extra effort to set up. Once you get familiar with the system, though, it becomes much easier to navigate and manage everyday accounting tasks.

My experience has been great overall. I like the GL and financial reports and the flexibility they have. We also like the number of dimensions allowed and how easy it is to set them up.

Pros

Ease of use for Sage Intacct is great. I really like the import templates and how you can delete non- required columns. The product is intuitive compared to other ERPs and the support staff do a great job.

Cons

Sometimes it seems like they try to be all things to all people and add too many features that most people don’t need.

Sage Intacct was initially quite a hurdle tot take on as it incorporated many changes, 4 months of time to implement, and was implemented solely as the accounting platform for the CSM platform we switched too. Once we were able to truly understand the difference between those transactions entered directly in Intacct and those that were imported from the CSM software, things started to clear up. We began to truly benefit from the transparency and data breakdowns available. Sage Intacct offers endless amount of capabilities and insight into the business once you are able to dissect it.

Pros

The transparency and capability to deep dive on anything as well as clear visual of who, what, and when transactions occur based on the audit trail. The ability to print checks paying entered bills directly from the platform as going as far as able to generate year end 1099 with the click of a button.

Cons

Custom Report Writer - while it is exceptionally beneficial to have this capability, it is not very user friendly. There are so many additional areas or reporting we could benefit from, however the report writer is so intricate it becomes overwhelming to use.

Sage helps to keep accounts payable and receivable data, helps to create reports that are more easy and efficient than human created data

My overall experience with Sage Intacct is positive; using it is intuitive and the AP module is very new-learner friendly.

Pros

I like that Sage Intacct embraces AI for Accounts Payable. Being able to forward invoices/emails to Intacct cuts down on manual entry time, and the system learns how recurring invoices are coded which is also convenient. Processing payments against vendor invoices and recording charge payoffs for credit card transactions is also very simple and straight-forward.

Cons

The AI learning model could be improved; the coding it provides on recurring invoices doesn't fill in the allocation, and after a recent update it doesn't base the coding off of previous invoices. Instead, it splits the invoice according to the lines on the invoice which makes more work on deleting out all the extra lines, which then changes the invoice total. There is also a lack of customer service for Sage Intacct which is a pain point.

Blackbaud limited us with what we needed to do and was clunky. It wouldn't integrate with a credit card management software.

Overall experience has been good. Our partner is very responsive and knowledgeable. Out of the box integrations with CRM systems are not available directly from Sage, however we've been able to find 3rd party integrations that make the integration more manageable.

Pros

SaaS solution that is stable and covers all our accounting needs. Seamless integration with our CRM system. Ease of Use by both our accounting department, COO and Sales team, with ease of use with Dashboards.

Cons

Dashboards load slowly. Get consistent complaints that the speed to run reports is slow. Reports require customized development to be able to calculate Gross Profit values, which should be offered as standard reports. Additional modules such as Contracts come in at a hefty price. Lower price point should be available for small business use. Also ability to process multiple orders at once automatically adds additional manual work.

Good. It could see how best to change and respond to technical questions in a timely fashion. It will help customers and their overall satisfaction.

Pros

Very user friendly. Does not need too many software or technical skills. That is the beauty about the software.

Cons

It does not have the feature of draft entries like Blackbaud. That is something that can be added by Intacct.

I used it for a few weeks in our financial department, where I reinforced my knowledge of Sage. It can be difficult to use but it is very powerful.

Pros

Sage Intacct makes accounting and financial management easy for companies. It makes it easy to generate customized financial reports.

Cons

Without assistance or an everyday user to help you, it's hard to use Sage. The fact is that this is financial software and some mistakes can't be undone, so you have to know what you are doing.
