Overall, I enjoy using . Creating manual bills is super easy and being able to mark as paid is a breeze

Pros

Invoice management and ease to locate invoices. Love the option to create multiple different views under each module and being able to access platform readily

Cons

Biggest concern is the customer service feature. We use a third party provider (baker Tilly). They are helpful, but would be better to have a live agent sometimes

Great. Then implementation team was professional understanding and very flexible during and after implementation

Pros

Been able to attach files to all entries as I am able to retrieve during reconciliation process or any other time

Cons

Having to go to a third party as after implementation regardless of who made an error (us or third party) we get charge for the correction

I’ve been utilising for about 6 years. I really find it easy to work with. A lot of our departments use it but need more training.

Pros

How you can looking expense funding amounts. It’s easy to work with and the sage university is very helpful when you need to know right now.

Cons

All of our tribal departments use it but most don’t know the full capabilities. Is there a training where travels to us?

So far the over all experience has been natural. I am still learning about the different products. I look forward to learning more.

Pros

What I enjoy most about sage intact is the way the work flows are set up. I enjoy the different modules as well

Cons

Creating the reports on my own. I wish the sage can auto populate general templates for use. That would be helpful.

My overall experience with Sage is amazing. I feel like the cost benefit for it is exceptional due to the time saved and level of organization we can have.

Pros

What I liked most about moving over to Sage was how fast and simple it is to learn a new UI. The course that is offered is very insightful and helped my team learn quickly.

Cons

What I liked least about was how hard it is to go back and undo mistakes. It seems like if one mistake snowballs into other mistakes, you have to go back and fix everything it effected, rather than fixing the original mistake.

It is a decent product for small companies. It doesn't have all the features a medium company needs, such as custom approvals.

Pros

There are a lot of custom options, such as custom fields and custom dimensions. It is pretty intuitive to learn to use.

Cons

AP approval rules are very limited, and the system allows approvals to be done in any order, instead of requiring a specific order. Reports are complicated to create and require a lot of maintenance when new GLs are added. I also wish there was a better third party AP processing option, as the native one takes a week, even for ACH payments.

Pros

It does what it was designed to do. It’s easy for our administrators to add and remove users. Once you understand how the program works it is easy to quickly pull reports

Cons

The interface is not as customizable as I would like. Each employee has different roles and it would be easier if some features are available to be viewed (a/p) but not altered

Overall experience with Sage is great, I would recommend this system to anyone. Very user friendly and all of your companies accounting info is in there

Pros

I like how user friendly it is, everything is easy to find and if you have questions their support team gives quick responses

Cons

I dislike how it is hard to reverse things that you have processed, like payments. You need to reach out to support for help instead of being able to correct the mistake yourself

Sage is intuitive for nonfinancial users, the dashboard is excellent, and I appreciate the automated workflows and approvals

Pros

Value for money, the cost of Sage is reasonable and affordable for a nonprofit like Associated Students SJSU

Cons

There is nothing I can think of that I like least about Sage. The functionality is exactly what we need.

### "Reliable and Easy to Use Accounting Software"

I think it's the best option I've seen for construction companies that also require consolidation. Everything runs smoothly and quickly.

Pros

It is extremely reliable and very user friendly. We haven't had any issues where the software was down. All of our people have been trained to use it easily.

Cons

There are some links in reports that seem to not lead anywhere. When you click it, it doesn't lead to the actual transaction where you can see the details.

The custom report writing fiction is Cumbersome which makes it difficult to populate the reports that our leadership needs in real time

Sage is very easy to use. Offers classes to sharpen your knowledge, and makes sure to support you along the way.

Cons

It can’t cover some areas, but makes sure to offer marketplace solutions in such cases. Sage has a base of multiple vendors in their marketplace.

It has been great compared to what we previously had. We love the yearly conference it offers because you learn about new improvements coming and continuing learning about what it is capable to do.

Pros

That is cloud based and that it is keeps update itself throughout the year. It has really good integrations with other softwares.

Cons

Right now that it lacks easiness about international payments at the moment. It transition to a simpler AP way after other Apps did.

It has been good, overall customer support service has been helpful. The software seems to have a great deal more potential than what we currently use.

Pros

Overall it is user friendly and meets the need of our agency. Having the ability to store related documents, invoices etc . is a nice feature.

Cons

Building reports is sometime confusing, and not as straightforward has I would like it to be. I think the level of flexibility in the reporting maybe make the process of creating reports more complicated than one would like

Negative and when possible I will not elect to use in the future. The customer service agent does not even know how to use the software.

Pros

The security access is so secure that even technicians scheduled to assist in getting in to the account cannot.

Cons

The customer service. We asked for one year of grace and was told we should be grateful we don't have to pay an invoice that was wrongly charged to our account.

There are so many tools with in sage that are useful. I look forward to continue to find ways to use it.

Pros

There are excellent learning opportunities. Sage university gives a lot of detailed classes to learn how to use Sage.

Cons

All the additional add ons seem to come at premiun costs. I wish the close co pilot was included in normal subscription.

While those add-ons mentioned above can get expensive, the overall performance and usability of the system makes it a solid choice for a small financial department such as us.

Pros

Overall my experience with SAGE has been good. What I like most is how user-friendly the system is, easy to navigate and is pretty self-explanatory, which makes the product easy to use even without a lot of training.

Cons

The main downside is the cost for additional features, such as individual licensures or integrations like the BILL/Divy credit card.

The interface is fairly good and user friendly. Lots of modules you can add on as your business grows.

Cons

It’s not great for any customizations. Quite limited in its capabilities. If what you’re looking for fits into what it offers it’s good but exceptions are not easy to handle.

It’s been very nice to use and much easier than 300. Access is very easy on a cloud based program as opposed to using a defined server

Pros

Very flexible with changes. Allows for other parts of the company to visualize finances and ensure they are meeting budget

Cons

Issues with AP AI and not reading embedded stamps. Certain formatted invoices also do not get read 100% accurately

It does the job, but it seems pretty behind its peers (Dynamics, Acumatica, even QuickBooks) with regards to UX/UI — the way the entities are structured and screens don’t let you easily search, etc. Somewhat messy infrastructure.

Pros

I like the usage of dimensions (classes, etc.) and account groups so you can avoid a bloated chart of accounts.

Cons

The user workflows and interface. It’s difficult (more time-consuming) to access basic accounting information than it is in other system.

Pros

Cloud based, remotely accessible. Clean and easy to understand. Traceable and linked data. Flexible and customizable.

Cons

Some bugs and deficiencies in features. Not yet fully built or for every submodule. Can sometimes run slow.

### "Great Product, but costly!"

Pros

is very easy to use. I have been a big fan since I started using it in 2013. The product is very intuitive.

Cons

Price. Since Sage purchased Intacct the annual increases have been in the double digits. We have been able to negotiate 5-6% increases most years, but for a small non-profit, it is not sustainable.

Pros

is Easy to use but yet has very powerful features. Its easy to develop new reports and amend existing reports.

Cons

Last time when I had to upload Budget data into SAG several times due to unknown errors. So I think there is some margin of improvement. Plus It's hard to talk to real person in the support department.

We are still in the implementation phase, it is hard to understand when you haven’t run thru a complete process

Pros

Swing able to code one invoice to multiple companies. You only have to login once. To see all companies

Cons

Having to process fixed assets for 9 communities at one time. I would prefer to be able to have multiple books for fixed assets one for each company
