### "Smooth SSO configuration"

Pros

I was in a team where we needed to configure Single Sign On. The instructions from sage were clear and we were able to configure it pretty quick.

Cons

I was admin assigned with task to configure it with Microsoft SSO, I had no issues with it so there is not much I do not like about the software.

helps us close our books within our required reporting deadline of workday 5. Using integrations allows us to eliminate manual work. In addition, it is scalable so it can grow with us. No solution is perfect and others were researched prior to our decision to implementing Sage Intacct and we believe we made the right choice in selecting Sage Intacct

Pros

I like the way that other programs, ADP Payroll and Ramp Visa integrate into . That saves a lot of time.

Cons

I dislike how deposits are posted in the general ledger. For example: If there's a deposit that contains multiple payments and the total deposit amount is not reflected in the Cash GL but it is posted by individual invoice line items. If a deposit of $20,000 contains 20 checks ( or credit card payments) from vendors that are paying multiple invoices (for this example, 5 invoices for each payment) the deposit total of $20K doesn't appear as a single debit to the Cash, GL account but 100 lines appear on the Cash GL.

### "OK but not a great fit for smaller businesses and nonprofits. "

We bought the system as a solution that was able to integrate with other software we use. We continue to use the system - but partially because installing another system is so labor and cost intensive. Staying with the "devil we know" has been our course of action. My relationship manager is very supportive.

Pros

It is a robust and well designed system. I has far more features than we would ever use.

Cons

Many updates actually are not helpful to us. They don't have a "less robust" option for smaller businesses. Product support is spotty, especially when it comes to API integrations. And some things are very hard to do in , that were actually quite simple back in Sage Peachtree.

Overall, I am generally pleased with the working version of that I have, but it has been an arduous journey to get here. I would recommend that you are careful with your implementation partner as many headaches can be avoided with a thoughtful, thorough cutover.

Pros

I like the flexibility that Sage gives me in terms of reporting and I like the accounting I can assign to department heads for approval of their spending.

Cons

I think there is a complexity to the reportage that is unnecessary. The account group structure is difficult to navigate and must be maintained diligently if your chart of accounts changes.

We have used almost 7 years and it has served us well in all aspects of accounting, payables, cash management, General Ledger and Reporting.

Pros

Really good integrated accounting system with good modules and great reporting capabilities.

Cons

No real cons. Some modules have some learning curve but not unmanageable. Would like to see improvement on Fixed Asset module. Ok as is but could be better integrated.

Other products offered more that needed for our organization. Also not as integrated and had more moving parts.

Pros

The multi-entity functionality is fantastic. We converted from QBO and it's taken a large burden off having to keep each entity in balance with the others. Cost was also very competitive for all the product offers.

Cons

I don't have a great answer for this. We had some issues at conversion but if we had tested more thoroughly, we would have found them much sooner.

Wonderful. I have converted to Intacct for 3 different companies for which I've worked.

Pros

Ease of use, creating reports is easy, importing journal entries

Cons

Cannot zero out beginning of year balances of Non-Financial accounts. Balances roll over. Should have the option of zeroing out or balance forward at year-end.

### "Visibility into your business made easy"

As the CFO, I find it easy to use and get to the information I need to run my business. It is also easy to onboard new accounting staff as the Sage University and many of the short tutorials help get them up to speed quickly.

Pros

The ease of use in finding what you need. The ability to drill down quickly, to spin up adhoc reports, and the creation of dashboards that have all the key financial data at your fingertips.

Cons

is always looking to improve, and they have a democratic way to determine those improvements through the Sage Community voting system. This is great, but there are 4 releases per year and it is just hard to keep up with all the improvements!

I believe World Neighbors made the correct decision several years ago to migrate to . I am very please with the decision and the software.

Pros

It's on-line. It's rarely "down." Most screens are easy to navigate. There are many options on how to pull data out of the system. I like the dashboard.

Cons

I have to purchase AssetEdge from WIPFLI for Fixed Asset management. It is very hard to find the Helpdesk Ticketing System. I wonder if it is obscure on purpose. I still have not become an expert on report writing. The concept just hasn't "sunk in." I think the training could be improved in this area.

Pros

The ease of adding locations or additional accounts.

Cons

Too expensive for the small portion that we use. It won't be long until we will have to switch to another provider if prices continue to increase. Recommend a "lite" version with limited access for non-profit users.

Our experience is OK. We spend more then needed since we cannot remove international currency and we never even used it. Support is just OK, as we are always referred to long articles when we just need simple instructions. The system is mostly user friendly outside of reporting.

Pros

The ability to create your own views. I find the system to be pretty user friendly.

Cons

The reporting module is very difficult and we can never get reporting support, always told we need to contact professional services for non-complex reporting that should be basic reports. And don't like having to log in to a site to submit cases, would rather email and be able to see the email history versus signing in to review the full case.

Implementation was a little rocky, but to be expected. Using it day to day is very functional and productive. It is a very broad accounting product that can be used in multiple businesses.

Pros

The modules offered and their ease of use.

Cons

The customer support. Like many software companies these days, they want you to try and solve your own issues using their help guides. The personal touch is missing from customer service.

### "Sage Intacct is good but expensive"

Pros

it tracks what we need but the info is not easy to view with reporting.

Cons

It is very expensive and reporting is not easy. It is actually very cumbersome to create new reports.

Switched from

[ACS](https://www.capterra.com/p/2668/ACS/)

ACS was antiquated and almost unusable as it was then written and it was not web based

### "Sage a Fairly Good Product"

Overall, pretty good other than not being user friendly in the start. Once you know where to find the information you are looking for, it is a good product

Pros

Data storage is really good. Once you know how to find what you are looking for a good product.

Cons

Difficult to find information, not as seamless a other systems

### "Sage is great but pricey"

We use Sage for the accounting platform. It integrates well with our other software.

Pros

Easy to use and navigate. Most things are easy to figure out on your own but if you can't, the help button directs you to the answer.

Cons

The price--increases each year are very large.
