### "Great Product, but costly!"

Pros

Sage Intacct is very easy to use. I have been a big fan since I started using it in 2013. The product is very intuitive.

Cons

Price. Since Sage purchased Intacct the annual increases have been in the double digits. We have been able to negotiate 5-6% increases most years, but for a small non-profit, it is not sustainable.

An innovative and modern product, highly scalable and manages a wealth of customization possibilities while remaining straightforward.

Pros

Cloud based, remotely accessible. Clean and easy to understand. Traceable and linked data. Flexible and customizable.

Cons

Some bugs and deficiencies in features. Not yet fully built or for every submodule. Can sometimes run slow.

### "Excellent for Mid Sized Businesses"

I first started using Sage Intact in 2017. At first, it was very different from the system I had been using and I felt a little overwhelmed. However, once I got my bearings I found the software to be user friendly and very functional.

Pros

Sage Intacct has a user-friendly interface and has all the accounting solutions we need in our accounting department. It is cloud based so it can be accessed remotely. It allows us to create detailed custom reports that are capable of reporting across multiple entities. The menus are very easy to navigate and it is a suitable system for a company who has many users that only need access to certain items. They also have good help and continuing ed seminars.

Cons

There's not much we don't like about Sage Intacct. For a very small company or for users who haven't utilized a system with as many features it may be overwhelming to adopt. This program is best for mid sized to large companies.

### "Experience with Sage Intacct"

Pros

SAGE Intacct is Easy to use but yet has very powerful features. Its easy to develop new reports and amend existing reports.

Cons

Last time when I had to upload Budget data into SAG several times due to unknown errors. So I think there is some margin of improvement. Plus It's hard to talk to real person in the support department.

The integrator we worked with did not represent SAGE very well. The product is being under utilized and will be having a conversation with our CFO.

Pros

The automation process and be able to see real time numbers fluctuate where it’s needed, and to be able to provide a realistic number as a government entity.

Cons

Nothing yet as the system is newer to our government. Our finance department continues to learn and will provide feedback to this line.

Overall, it has increased our efficiencies, saved time, allowed for easier reporting structure and reporting options to provide to management.

Pros

User friendly clous bases system allows for more efficiency and reporting options. The duplication and importing of entries saves so much time.

Cons

Wish there were more options with categories. More family office and investing for high net worth families would be helpful. Or creating your own categories.

Overall the experience has been great. Our use of Sage has saved us a lot of manual spreadsheet work.

Pros

I really like the deferred revenue and prepaid expenses modules. Automatic postings saves a lot of manual work. Consolidation of multiple entities is also very helpful.

Cons

I don't like that you cannot pay a USD AP Bill with a Canadian credit card. Tax module isn't actually working for Canada.

The overall experience with Sage Intacct is that it's easy to work with. Our accounting team has everything set up for us so inputting the expenses and their allocations makes it easy. We're also able to set up the approval flows easily.

Pros

I like that Sage Intacct is really easy to use with how our accounting team has set up so that we can input requested expenses easily. It also has a good way of tracking approvals so we know where the up in the line the approvals have stopped at.

Cons

Sometimes, the pre-populated lines is great for when I have to input the different allocation codes for the same expenses but in doing so, it'll generate a blank line that stops me from being able to submit unless I erase the blank line.

Sage Intacct has been an upgrade in many ways from Sage 300, however, it is missing some critical components for a company that makes heavy use of job costing. It is obvious that Sage is putting a lot of work into Intacct, so I do have high hopes that the missing pieces will someday be filled in.

Pros

I like that Sage Intacct is online and allowed us to move away from using a physical server. This allows employees to work more efficiently when working remotely.

Cons

Sage Intacct does not handle job costing well. We are a construction company and Intacct has struggled to give us the detailed information we need. We have had to utilize other 3rd party software to fill this gap.

It's all about the money with Sage Intacct. If you don't pay, you don't get service. The help portal is a joke. The product is clunkier than an old pinto.

Pros

I don't like anything about Sage Intacct

Cons

Customer Service Representatives never know what is going on. They cannot keep anyone around for more than a few months so they always change your contact. It's hard to keep track who you need to email for issues. When you do email them, it always takes days for a response or they tell you they cannot help you with your issue.

In my personal opinion, Sage Intacct is a good software. The platform not only provides a reliable accounting solution but also boasts strong abilities in automation and reporting

Pros

I am fond of the fact that Sage Intacct is very good at financial reporting and automated workflows which are the factors to the success of accounting and Bank Reconciliation

Cons

The interface is not always intuitive and it triggers a lot of removed menu entries, and navigating through some of the features could be a hurdle for some people. Furthermore, some of the customizations also require technical knowledge as well

There is no chat option available in support section. And their contact information provided over there are not much helpful.

Overall, I like the software. Once you understand its limitations, you can then begin to fully utilize its capabilities.

Pros

Sage Intacct allows its users to be able to manipulate the data in so many different and useful ways. As a business operator it is not only important to understand your monthly operations but also how that compares to previous months.

Cons

The one downside to Sage Intacct is that the program does not calculate your budged dollar amount to your budgeted dollar PPD. Example, if your budget for category A is $500 when you are caring for 100 people, thus you have a $5 budget per person per day. But say you ended up caring for 150 people instead. Intacct will still show a budgets dollar amount of $500 when if your budgeted dollar PPD is $5 then you should have an actual budgeted dollar amount of $750.

Cons

Reporting is archaic and lacks flexibility when creating different views. Als,o once you set up the reporting views, they are not dynamic with changes to the GL.

### "Highly Recommend Sage Intacct"

Overall, I would highly recommend Sage Intacct. It is easy to use and provides us what we need to keep business moving smoothly.

Pros

I like the ease of use. Everything works smoothly and it is so easy to fix an issue if something was done in error. The reconciliation function has allowed us to become much more efficient with our month end process - what used to take us roughly 5 days now takes us 1 day!

Cons

I cannot think of anything that I do not like about Sage Intacct. It really works well for our business needs.
