Pros: We piloted Jobvite for about 6 months when looking for a new tracking software, and overall we were pretty pleased. You get a lot of functionality with your membership, and the user experience is definitely worth the money. Everything is customizable, organized, and easy to use. We will definitely be looking into it for a longer contract!

Cons: The demo was a little lengthy, and the customer service isn't always the most immediate. When they do help, they are very efficient!

Comments: Our ATS is going "Live" this coming week and excited to see how much Jobvite is going to help us be more efficient!

Pros: Dashboard, the ability to use social media and get our communities involved with referring employees, the ability to change items even after the system goes live, the online education tools,

Cons: Configuring the ATS takes more time than was originally told More explanation is needed when configuring ATS-lots of options that need more explanation

Pros: I liked the ability to create letter templates to respond to candidates in a variety of situations. The ability to upload new reqs on to our external website. Also, I like how employees can easily reach out to their networks by signing up one time.

Pros: I liked the fact that job offers could be built in based on job titles and descriptions. It was a good timesaver. It had nice sorting features to put applicants into and share with hiring managers

Cons: It was cloud based and some managers did not quite understand how to use it. But some managers did not want to learn it.

Pros: - ease of use for candidate application - ability to edit jobs easily - their product roadmap is constantly evolving

Cons: - When you hire a candidate and disposition them to hired the candidates other applications are not updated to "hired", can be confusing with multiple recruiters and multiple locations. You also cannot view a candidates notes for all of their applications in one place. You have to look though all the applications that a candidate applied to. - the customer support is a joke and slow. Jobvite offshores their support -Their reporting functionality is tedious and hard to use

Pros: I love the UX design - it's easy to learn, training our users has been a breeze. It's also constantly improving.

Cons: The features are still developing in some areas, and it's not quite yet as sophisticated as Taleo /ICIMS/Workday for worldwide implementations.

Overall: Already covered in my review.

It's a good ATS.

Pros: Ease of use and accessibility to other job boards, its a great tool and employees think its easy to view all the open reqs and send the positions to referrals.

Cons: Its more of a manual process, changing templates is a task, setting up interviews for different locations I want to be able to have a button to click for time zones, so I don't have to change it manually in the email to candidates.

Overall: control over the candidates that come into our system.

We, recruiters, tend to bash almost any ATS. I'm pleasantly content with Jobvite.

Pros: Ease of use. The learning curve is fairly small as compared to some of the robust ATS' on the market. Calendar scheduling is also very simple.

Cons: Advanced automation and analytics. Sometimes it seems that simple change can't be completed. As an example, there's a super minor customization I've requested that for the life of me can't understand why it can't be done. It would save me hours of time but that's for another day.

Overall: Saves times

Pros: While our company has the basics, it attracts resumes through a lot of job boards. Even though I cannot upgrade right now, it is good to know Jobvite keeps competitive.

Cons: There are times I find it difficult to navigate through the site to find specific tools or sometimes not sure if Jobvite have what I am looking for. Also, a couple of months ago, I had a hard time getting through to customer service and that included no one responding to even chat.

Pros: Being able to quickly and easily schedule reports with other employees has been a great time saver. Not having to manually run the report each week is very helpful.

Cons: Trying to create a report can be tedious as the amount of customization can be limited. There is no way to start a report from scratch, Jobvite does not do a good job of saying which dataset the data is being pulled from. Limited custom formulas once the report is created. The 'Notes' field cannot be pulled into any reports.

Overall: Ease of sharing the reports within the organization.

Comments: The ATS is ok. It'll do what is needed and for what it is, the pricing is ok.

Pros: Compared to other ATS that I've user, Jobvite has the most advanced features. If I wanted to make many customizations, there's normally a way to do it.

Cons: Reporting is terrible. The labeling system is too complex and hard to figure out where to do what. UI is very old and dated. Customer Support is slow and incompetent.

Comments: it's great as corporate ATS and agency access is very limited - all what your can do is just to upload a resume.

Pros: I like the transparency and ease of use. I liked that it keeps all recruiter-candidate and recruiter-hiring team communication. no need to send resumes via email. it's easy to track the activity and status.

Cons: when req is closed/filled/canceled - candidate's status are not changed. hard to manage candidate communication when he/she is considered for a few roles.

Comments: This is a great tool, it is a bit pricey but you definitely get all of the functions you will use and more. This is a tool that any organization could grow into - if you aren't going to use the tool to its full use - its still worth it just for the easy adaptability

Pros: Easy use from screening resumes on their mobile app, to deep diving into an interview evaluation. The tool was was cross functional and there was little ramp up time which is always easily adaptable when learning a new tool.

Cons: The reporting function was a little weaker than what I would have thought, only because every other function performed at such a high level

Pros: The Social Media platform integration is still best in class. It works well and allows easy visibility for your company's jobs across all social media platforms.

Cons: There are several things, but the actual ATS part of the system seems to have been designed as an afterthought. The workflow is not intuitive and there are too many features that just are not there for a modern search firm, and I imagine it would be very frustrating for an internal corporate recruiter as well. The worst feature though is their enforced branding through email. If you use Jobvite, every time you send an email through their platform it will go out with a jobvite.com email address. This means that many of your candidates will just not see the emails you send because their junk mail filters are picking up the jobvite.com email address as spam because they have a very high junk mail score and also because the word job is in the email address. When I used Jobvite as a corporate recruiter, I was constantly having to call candidates to see if they had received my emails and when I found out they had not I was resending messages from outside of Jobvite. When I called Jobvite, they said this was not a feature that could be easily turned off, and that the only way to do this was for our sys admins to make changes to the company domain settings and if your admins are like mine, they are not going near that with a 10 foot pole. This an idiotic feature and a deal killer for anyone in the recruiting industry.

Pros: I love how easy JobVite is to learn and how the team is super responsive to any issues that occur. The best part is how you can truly customize the program to our needs to make our TA processes quick and efficient. The webinars are extremely helpful and interactive, and the way you can customize the Engage Us App and landing pages is awesome!

Cons: the resume database has been down for several months. In January, I submitted an engineering ticket because it was telling me that my CareerBuilder login and password were incorrect, and the communication was great initially, but the issue was never resolved and now it seems like that whole piece of the software has been down (it is July now). another con: often when candidates are added through Indeed, duplicate files are created. the software needs to get better at weeding out double and triple files of the same candidate.

Comments: I'm a vendor of a company who uses Jobvite and I use it to submit potential candidates for hire. The piece that I utilize has extremely user-friendly functionality. From a staffing vendor perspective, I would very much recommend this.

Pros: What I like most about this product it the minimal amount of data that is required by a staffing vendor when entering a candidate for consideration. We are all under a time crunch with recruiting and this helps tremendously.

Cons: The only con I have contradicts my pro, which is minimal information is required by the staffing vendor when entering info, so I would think data analytics isn't as robust as it could be.

Pros: Jobvite is one of the more competitively priced recruiting systems out there. There are premium products out there that I loved, however they would have cost almost twice as much as Jobvite, which I couldn't justify for probably 10% better functionality. It's super easy to use from both a recruiter standpoint as well as an admin standpoint. The key feature of sending Jobvites makes it super easy for employees to send out (and for us to track) referrals. As an admin, I LOVE the ability to chat with a tech support person from the tool vs. calling and being on hold for hours, only to be read to from a script vs. speaking with someone who can problem solve.

Cons: Jobvite emails come from the Jobvite email address and do not allow you to embed a signature. Because of this, we do not use Jobvite for candidate communications (other than the standard "thanks for applying" email that all applicants receive. There's also no way to BCC Jobvite to track these external emails in the system. We are a smaller company (350) and our recruiters are more senior, however this could be a deal breaker for a company that uses coordinators that require more oversight. While you can customize most of the templates, there are some that are embedded in the system that you can't change that contain awkward and stilted wording. One of them contained a grammatical error and felt it reflected on us so poorly (we're a content marketing agency) we had to disable the feature entirely. There's also a limit to the number of the columns that can appear in the search field, so we aren't able to view all of our custom fields verifying an applicant's suitability up front, which makes the process more time consuming for recruiters as they have to view more applications one at a time. Also, they occasionally have updates which take the product backward instead of forward, such as removing the job alerts email feature. I know it sounds like there are more cons than pros, but the ease of use and customer support is 100% more important than all of the cons.

Comments: I like how easily Jobvite makes it interact with candidates. Keeping all messages in order all in one place is the genius. I think that user interface on recruiting end needs some help. Shifting from tab to tab often takes a long time to populate. Also, the taskbar should allow us to make additional notes to it- for example, the person to whom the task is assigned should be able to leave a small note stating " waiting for availability" or " waiting on interviewers approval" or whatever else they may need to note.

Comments: We just started using Jobvite not too long ago but I have enjoyed the product thus far. I have noticed the following since using the product: -streamlined the hiring and application process -easy to manage applicants and responses -great way to see other internal position

Pros: It has made the hiring process for me more efficient.

Cons: There are some limitations to the program such as: multiple postings pre-questions to weed out unqualified candidates

Pros: Good at aggregating work and publishing in SM.

Cons: Obtuse UX.

Overall: It is good to aggregate and manage applications in general and publish them. Yet, we find its lack of usability. It is especially true of our collaborators and candidates: we spend a considerable amount of time explaining how to do the very same things. It could use some improvement.

Comments: I have used this tool for a few years and like the tool as it provides good insights about every candidate. Their team is very responsive and get back to us pretty quickly. You can configure a lot of things and not necessarily need a technical resource. Its a good value for cost as its decently priced.

Pros: Great support, easy to customize

Cons: Reporting seems a little clunky

Comments: The tool is good for basic use but the team did not find it to be extensive enough for a great experience. Building automations in Jobvite required back-end help and that slowed down things for us. There is no dynamic way of making changes to workflow or approvers. The templates part does not seem to be solid and breaks from time to time for us. Security and permission settings are not very intuitive to follow.

Pros: Load quickly Reporting

Cons: Overheads Workflow buildings Dynamic approvals not possible

Recommendations to other buyers: Its price is decent but you may want to invest a little more and get a better tool

Comments: Jobvite was a step up for my company. We out grew our former ATS about 2 years ago. With that said I do not feel that Jobvite it the right fit for our organization. Once our 2 year contact is up I don't foresee us renewing. My company needs to be able to field hundreds of applicant's through our ATS daily. It became very clear shortly after using Jobvite that this software is not meant for a company like mine. It lacks small features that I need as a Staffing Manager, in order for my tasks to be efficient. We initially offered to pay more money if they needed to customize any software but they do not do that. You have to post your change to a forum where people can vote on it. The ones with the most votes gets applied in the release. This is fine in theory but if no other companies are endorsing the idea you post to the forum it leads me to believe that Jobvite can not handle the type of recruiting we do and does not have many companies like ours. Which should have made clear to us in the initial stages of negotiation.

Pros: 1. Great Level 1 Customer Service representatives, all you do is call in and someone can help you with a simple question or problem almost immediately. I use this feature often. 2. The site is user friendly, it was easy to teach members of my team how to use it. 3. Publisher tool is awesome! Very easy to post jobs to all social media outlets.

Cons: 1. Sub par Level 2 Customer Service Reps, when a level 1 person can not answer your question they pass it off to a level 2 Rep. These level 2 Reps that are assigned to your case are hard to get a hold of. They are reluctant to get on the phone with you. I have had 2 separate instances where I had been passed to a level 2 Reps, I was not impressed with their customer service skills. 2. When we went through the integration process we had many meetings with the integration Rep assigned to use but towards the he fizzled out. We were not fully integrated and he passed us off to the customer service line for further questions.

Recommendations to other buyers: I would not recommend Jobvite to a company like the one I work for as I do not feel the software is fully equipt for our needs. I would recommend Jobvite to a small to mid size company that did not intend to use the software to screen, email, and connect with hundreds of candidates in a day.

Comments: Last year we signed up for a one year contract with Jobvite to give the site a chance. The service was fine. I was able to submit job openings and receive applications. The real problem came when an error in the accounting department shut off our service. Instead of helping me get to the bottom of the issue they forced us to sign another contract. At the time I was not told that it was a contract just that in order to have the service turned back on, I had to sign in order to post, it was April and I was at a critical juncture so I signed. By the next day their mistake was discovered and I thought everything was cleared up. Until we started receiving a new invoice for $5k! We had already paid up until June of 2016 but now they were insisting that we pay an additional $5k and extend the service until April of 2017. After months of being passed from one person to the next, with me explaining to each person why it was wrong and that we did not want to continue service they sent us to collections! No one returned my calls while I tried to get this cleared up with Jobvite and even now they still do not have the information correct. I would not let my worst enemy chose this company!

Pros: absolutely nothing

Cons: complete lack of customer service and inability to follow up on an issue. Not to mention not taking responsibility for their own mistake!

Recommendations to other buyers: Run, don't walk, away from this company.

Pros: Ease of use; compatibility with social media sites

Cons: Customer Service; lack of individualization; release process

Overall: We analyzed multiple ATS' and decided on Jobvite. At this point, if I could select any other ATS outside of Jobvite I would be happy. Once you transition into a contract the customer service is terrible. You do not have a dedicated agent working with you, you have to contact the main customer service line and they do not prioritize any issues. They take holidays completely off. We had an issue with our site beginning the Wednesday prior to Thanksgiving and reached out in the morning. The entire day went by with no contact or resolution to our issue and we went into the Thanksgiving holiday with no contact. Jobvite customer support did not resolve our issue until Tuesday after Thanksgiving after we reached out multiple times. Our issue was significant in that none of our new candidates were coming into our account so we lost 6.5 days of new candidates all because no one takes responsibility/ownership of an account. This is completely different than the customer service during the exploratory phase. It is terrible. This is just one of the many issues we have had.

Comments: Tracking is good; reports not so much. Nice dashboard that tells you requisition activity. The dashboards looks nice and it has templates you can make for prescreening.

Pros: Easy to learn and navigate, and you can customize it to your needs. It has a simple process for candidates to apply/review application as well.

Cons: The Reports feature could use some work. Not good for running analysis.

Comments: Have been using Jobvite for about a year and it was easy to learn and customize. Easy to develop templates for prescreen questions for review purposes not "knock out" . Customer service can be questionable at times and may get different answers to solutions depending on who you ask. Little clunky to review candidates and bulk disposition them.

Pros: Nice dashboard that tells you your requisition activity. Easy to use and learn. Very customizable but be careful and work with a JV rep to ensure if you customize your workflow that you can report on the different steps. Easy for candidates to apply and review status of application.

Cons: Reporting function is not easy to customize reports. Have to download in Excel to manipulate data. Can't report on reasons you rejected someone or why someone turn down offer. If looking for comprehensive reports may not be the right tool. Customer service responsiveness can be delayed if issue is more challenging and may get different answers on solutions depending on who you ask. Have had issues posting to LinkedIn and has been a couple weeks since the issue arose and still not fixed.

Recommendations to other buyers: Make sure if you do customize in regards to the workflow that is won't interfere with there standard practices from a reporting standpoint as your reporting may not be accurate as a result.

Comments: Overall, Jobvite is easy to navigate and has great customer support, but if you are looking for a site that is customizable with advanced search functions, this may not be for you.

Pros: It is easy to navigate through the Jobvite system and the customer service response time is very quick!

Cons: The system is not as customizable as we needed it to be and the reports feature is not user friendly.

Recommendations to other buyers: Decide what features you are looking for in your ideal ATS. If you are focused on reporting and analytics, this may not be the place for you. If you are looking for something easy to navigate with already established templates, Jobvite might work for you.

Comments: I find Jobvite very easy to implement and use however there are some UI flaws. I don't like that when you need to reschedule an interview it doesn't keep historical thread or template which requires to enter all the information all over again. Customization of interviewing scheduling templates and evaluation can be better. There is room for improvement but it's the best ATS I have worked with and hiring managers find it easy to use.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you are concerned about integration capability - ask about plugins for systems like ADP which it does integrate with.

Comments: The customer service here is impeccable. I actually enjoy talking with their reps. My only problem with Jobvite is that it is not mobile friendly and their mobile app has basically zero functionality. Also their search function within the system is flawed- meaning if you search for "Joe Jackson" and the person is in the system as "Joseph Jackson"- your search with come up with no results. The reporting function was also down for a solid 2 months recently which was annoying.

Comments: I have been using Jobvite for 3 years now. As all recruiters can agree, no ATS is perfect. What I appreciate about Jobvite is that you can customize it to your company's recruiting processes. Our company has grown quite a bit and we have changed our workflow and best practices on an iterative basis. I feel that Jobvite has scaled with us along the way.

Pros: You can find work-arounds in the system, adaptable to recruiting processes as they change, fairly easy to navigate, simple process for applicant, forms feature for online applications is good

Cons: reporting functionality very difficult to use, search capability in database is poor

Recommendations to other buyers: If you are a small to mid size company Jobvite is a great platform. It might get more difficult as you get to a stage where you need to drive heavy analytics and leverage it as a search database

Comments: I am an HR Recruiter for a multi-channel marketing and product development company specializing in labor law, HR and tax solutions that create a bridge between what the law requires and what makes sense for businesses. We have large volumes of applications through Jobvite's system and have found it to be an extremely simple way to organize our candidates applications. What a great system to use starting from the application process to the interviewing process to hiring and filling the position and even once the employee is employed. Their customer service and online help tools are great. We have weekly webinars with an account manager who talks us through any updates or problems we're experiencing and allows us to ask questions along the way. I would recommend Jobvite to all Recruiters and HR Professionals looking for a great simple to use ATS.

Pros: ease of use- quick glance dashboard-integrate well with 0365.

Cons: Lots of slowness, sometimes outages and error messages. Also, the reporting is not very versed- meaning that many fields in JV are not reportable, so it is cumbersome at times to do reports because you have to do a lot of scrubbing of data and combining reports. - Wish it had better reporting capabilities.

Overall: Been using Jobvite for the past year. Initially never worked with it before and it was easy to learn an pick up.

Recommendations to other buyers: When there is a enhancement, we often experience outages or issues with the application, which is very frustrating and gives the customer/user the impression that development or your IT team is not testing the updates before release.

Pros: -Refer a friend is an easy functionality that we advertise a lot to our employees
-Scheduling is very easy to use and makes it quick for coordinators
-The home screen improvements make seeing my tasks, offers, and reqs a lot easier when I am in there daily

Cons: -Does not convert time of a scheduled interview for a candidate in a different time zone.
-Does not cluster an applicants - one person can appear 10+ times for each job they've applied to so search can be difficult; would help if a name appeared once and then showed you the jobs they've applied for to make search/sorting easier.

Overall: I use Jobvite daily as an admin to support recruiters and coordinators. I approve reqs, offers, and help to schedule interviews. It is easy to use and learn but there are few things that I feel could be improved. Currently working on Wokday/Jobvite integration as well as Jobvite/Docusign integration to help streamline our processes.

Pros: Comprehensive and utilizes social recruiting and ease of use for non-recruiters. Good reporting functions and snapshots.

Cons: UI is clunky and the features are not always intuitive. i.e. moving someone that was hired as an intern and moving them to an FTE req and generating isn't seamless. As a result, multiple records were created and because of the ATS integration it's creating some interesting duplications of effort.

Overall: This is my second implementation of Jobvite into a start-up software environment. The support and implementation team does a great job of meeting the unique requirements, where possible, of each customer's needs.

Recommendations to other buyers: Overall, very happy with Jobvite as an ATS solution for us. Would love to see it continue to evolve the ease of use aspect.

Pros: Big fan of the manual scheduling tool.

Cons: Dissapointed there isn't an opportunity to put interviews on hold. I'm required to go in and cancel an interview rather than put it on hold. I know I can modify the schedule, but if the candidate hasn't shared his or her updated availability, it makes no sense to reschedule for a later date.

Overall: I'm a big fan of Jobvite. It's the first applicant tracking system I've used on a regular basis and I think the overall experience has been great. Easy to get ramped up on and lots of opportunities for customization.

Pros: A product that is easy to use and has other products associated with it. The vendor provided a seminar with software usability.

Cons: It is a good product but I selected another product that I preferred.

Recommendations to other buyers: Continue to check the most recommended software and pick the one that fits better with your needs.

Pros: OFCCP compliance assistance tools

Cons: Few glitches that they are working out still (certain automated emails not being sent to all candidates depending on how they apply or the ability for them to track their status), and a bit difficult to customize certain items unless you reach out to customer service

Overall: Enjoy using this product, and we are certainly happy with it overall. It does a better job than our previous ATS, and the customer service is great whenever we run into any issues or have questions. It took some time to get trained on the system, but the rep was very thorough and ensured we were up and running very quickly.

Recommendations to other buyers: Would recommend it for government contractors

Pros: Customer Service, ease of use, and the constant evolution of this product into something better

Cons: I would like the reporting functions to be more in depth and pervasive. I also would like the search function to be updated. It seems to randomly pull lots of irrelevant results- even when I put an exact name in, for example.

Overall: My team has been using Jobvite for over a year. We love the customer service the most. Also Jobvite seems to be constantly updating and improving- we appreciate that

Recommendations to other buyers: As mentioned above

Comments: I am a recruiting coordinator for a software company and use Jobvite everyday. I have never used another ATS but have heard some others are not so easy to use.

Pros: Customization for your business needs, easy to learn and use.

Cons: Reporting could be made simpler, more customization for each login rather than company wide.

Recommendations to other buyers: I would recommend Jobvite, its a great product and their support team listens to suggestion and can suggest alternatives most of the time when we do occasionally express difficulties.

Comments: We manage our recruitment function across 11 offices using Jobvite. Our recruitment team can keep track of candidate activity and assign next steps as tasks, making our internal communication run smoothly. You can also move candidates through all interviewing steps effortlessly and with transparency for their referrals.

Pros: THE BEST customer service I've ever dealt with; they're fast, friendly and helpful. It integrates with LinkedIn Recruiter and Referrals. I love that it can also handle onboarding tasks like generating offer letters and conducting background checks. Working with outside recruiting agencies, it helps me manage submissions and does not allow an agency to submit a resume that is already in the system.

Cons: It's a little slow at times, which can be frustrating. It doesn't have way to include LinkedIn profiles for sourcing. You have to download their profile as a PDF instead of adding their LinkedIn link and auto-generating a candidate profile.

Recommendations to other buyers: I would recommend this tool for companies larger than 100 people or with high volume of recruiting.

Comments: I oversee the hiring process for a 1300 employee school network. We hire around 400 new staff each year and have roughly 4000 applicants each year. We purchased Jobvite because of its user-friendly interface, the platform speed, and the multiple products that come rolled into one (video interviewing, reporting, pipeline management). Our application process is unique and we were able to customize the system for our use. Since purchasing in October, there have already been a lot of updates and improvements to products as well as new capabilities added. They have great customer service and listen to their customers' needs in making improvements (there is even an ideas section for current customers to make suggestions and have them be voted on).

Pros: We really enjoy the built-in video interview function. We also love the pipeline management, the reporting capabilities, and the overall ease of use.

Cons: We would really benefit from even more customization capabilities. Even though we love the video interview function, many of our applicants experience technical difficulties with it so it may help to make some system improvements there.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you want a fast platform that is easy to use and is customizable. Jobvite would be a great choice!

Pros: It is easy to retrieve past requisitions and past candidates. Also, most of the people I have spoken with from the customer support center have been helpful.

Cons: While it's nice to be able to customize things, I wish there were more options for templates/processes that we could just use, instead of having to create it all from scratch. Also, I wish there was a way to edit/revise things as I was working on them, rather than having to go back to a certain page. For example, when I'm sending a candidate a message and pull up a template, I wish I had the option to make a change and then apply that change to the overall template.

Recommendations to other buyers: Figure out what functions are most important to you (when using an ATS).

Pros: The ability to integrate with other systems, especially the interviewers' calendars to see availability.

Cons: There are glitches *everywhere*, and much of the time when I capture the background code and screenshots and do everything I can, tech support seems to be unable to replicate an error even when it happens consistently for me. There isn't enough customization ability, especially with things like rescheduling, auto-filling data into messages, and the widgets. It needs to have a better general UI and give more options to present the information in an intuitive and useful way. For example, a recent candidates list. And a list of all of the interviews you've scheduled. The ability to pin specific candidates and reqs to the dashboard. Basic customization that I feel isn't that difficult to write in unless you have really bad base code. The emails are also awful. 928369645981374981@jobvite.com is unprofessional and it might be my biggest pet peeve.

Recommendations to other buyers: Honestly, you won't know what you need from a software like this until you're using it to schedule or manage reqs and candidates. The basics are candidate data, sourcing, interview scheduling, and offers. Ease of use from there up depends on what you're doing with it.

Pros: What I enjoy most about this product is that nearly everything you would need is available in one location. The tasks feature is also useful when working with initial candidate contact.

Cons: Managing tasks essentially requires another system, electronic or otherwise. There is not a built in feature where you can update your progress on completing a task and it can be difficult to stay on top of tasks without a better tracking system.

Recommendations to other buyers: I find that the best way to use Jobvite is to be very hands-on with the program when first learning. You have to be willing to explore the options that are provided as all the features will be readily visible.

Pros: In addition to the features, I really like how the company is forward-looking and insightful on the state of recruiting and issues companies face. The product itself is a collaboration tool that engages the entire company in solving talent acquisition challenges which makes it ideally suited for our needs.

Cons: I would like additional integrations with vendors, but that's really a nice to have and not a have to have.

Recommendations to other buyers: When evaluating software, knowing your strengths as well as the challenges that your industry, company, and team face can help evaluate the tool and its effectiveness and efficiency for your organization.

Pros: Jobvite does two things well: interview scheduling and social recruiting.

Cons: The Engage product is an add on that aims to create the taggability and database-like functionality that the Hire product. These products end up acting like two databases siloed away from one another. Obvious needed functionality is missing and "on the their roadmap". I can't wait to dump this product when my contract is over.

Overall: This product is not all it is cracked up to be. There is no way a Recruiter was involved in any part of the functionality development. It is barely a workflow tracker. The database and tagging capabilities are practically useless.

Recommendations to other buyers: do not purchase Engage

Pros: I do like the new integrated LinkedIn feature, but there isn't too much that stands out. The customer support that I've received is always really great and the employees ensure that they've helped with all my issues.

Cons: I don't like that it doesn't have a mass emailing function or that when you send out an invitation to an interview, the candidate does not receive a calendar invite on their Outlook or Gmail calendar.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you are looking for an easy to use reporting function, this is not your product. If you are looking for a basic ATS, then this could be an option.

Pros: - Keeping everything in one place. Great that we can access candidate information so easily and keep it all organized. Allows us to make sure no one gets dropped.

- Usability with other programs. Love how it merges with my gcal when I schedule an interview, and how I can reply to emails from my gmail instead of having to log in.

Cons: - Ugly emails. Emails sent from Jobvite show up strangely, and the fact that it comes from a strange email address means that it sometime goes to SPAM for the candidate. I find myself going through personal email more often now.

- Customer service. My team had to go through a couple of customer service reps before we found one who eagerly jumped into our issues and took immediate action. I recognize Jobvite is a growing platform, but waiting on fixes means we potentially lose great candidates.

Overall: My team uses jobvite as the centerpiece of our recruiting strategy. We pull data every day to see our progress, and keep all info about each candidate in jobvite. It has streamlined our process, but some unfriendly UI designs and too often outages slow us down.

Comments: Very useful to advertise internal roles accross multiple social media platforms. Love how if candidates apply externally - the advertiser still gets credit.

Comments: Jobvite is an easy to use platform for the most part. It's robust, loads quickly, allows for you to move through candidates and requisitions fairly easily and has good reporting that will hopefully grow even more robust. It's a good value for the cost, and is a fairly intuitive system for basic tasks, though higher level admin tasks can feel buried.

Pros: Fast loading, lots of information, good price point. Great implementation team, lots of training available. Continually improving the process and seem to take customer feedback to heart.

Cons: Customizable to a degree, building workflows requires back end help that isn't always the fastest. There's no easy way to make on the fly changes to workflows or approvers, which in a far flung organization can be difficult. The offer letter templates have also, in my experience, been pretty finicky.

Comments: I love this ATS! Used HODES, TALEO, and Ultipro before as ATS's at other companies, at JOBVITE exceeds all of them! Clean platform! Clean look and feel of the program. Also, love to pull up Jobvite on my phone; easy to use on a mobile!

Pros: Easy to pickup and learn how to use without any manuals. Their support staff are pretty efficient of taking care of questions and providing solutions quickly. Easy to update job reqs.

Cons: When you disposition a candidate as hired in one req, would like all the other reqs to close on their own. Not to big of a problem though since the other reqs for the same candidate can be closed manually per req. Also, wish I could open 1 job req for 1 title, but post in multiple locations, without it looking like I have ten jobs open for that title...
