I like that all the fields are at the top and divided by cells, but the layout shifts once new rules are applied and throws things off a bit. Each member is able to see what others do and leave a comment. You don't have to be at the workplace to see what is happening or keep track of projects. However, the chat support does not seem friendly. It is like they want to answer you instantly and leave or maybe serve other customers. Pros Wrike provides a central location for my content writing team to pick and submit jobs. It has an intuitive design and it is easy for the team members to sign up and join the platform from any location. Wrike Allows real-time sharing of important files, project instructions, and helpful links/urls. You can use @mention feature to tag the relevant team member to ensure they don't miss anything. Cons The chat support team does not seem very friendly but they provide useful information. The onboarding process is not straightforward and they don't provide emails with relevant information or share links to tutorials or training material to enhance the user experience. You can also create project and task templates to save time, as well as customize workflow stages, create notifications, and set up task dependencies. Pros My favorite things about Wrike are the ease of use, the clarity of the dashboard and the fact that it's really affordable. The onboarding experience was also good. Pros I like the most that they provide a lot of features that help me manage multiple tasks easily and increase my overall productivity. I can manage all my tasks for a particular event using their "Spaces" and manage all its folders, subfolders, tasks, and subtasks. I can also automate certain tasks based on the type of users or other conditions. I can also assign due dates, and create customized dashboards to track all the tasks in one place. Cons They can work on assigning a personal account manager during onboarding that can help users onboard quickly with fewer hiccups. So for that alone, it has done the job I needed it to do. Pros Wrike has a lot of the features you look for in a project management tool, so if you're looking for that then you are covered. No bells and whistles. Cons The pro is also the con. Wrike does the bare minimum well enough. This software won't wow you. That's not always a bad thing but it should be understood. It’s also great that the entire organization can work together in one system, so handoffs across departments take less effort. Pros As a manager, i spend a lot of time in wrike. The tool helps everyone within a project and organization stay organized. Wrike allows for everyone to document their work and access it on mobile or Desktop seamlessly. The cost is acceptable. Cons The development team is very slow to introduce new features. Only big bug fixes are prioritized. I wish the app can allow scheduling of tasks by the hour instead of just by the day. I also wish the app integrated with Outlook calendar system. Right now only google calendar is supported. Financial Services Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Brought sanity and transparency to our work" January 8, 2019 5.0 Pros I choose Wrike specifically for the ability to submit project requests. 99% of our projects have to go through some sort of compliance approval, and auditing through a bunch of emails and folders that hopefully had everything was a recipe for disaster. Wrike allows us to have reporting and automatically assign tasks It's incredibly, almost overwhelmingly customizable, so I can have my own workflows to manage website issues while print projects can have their own process, etc, and these templates are automatically assigned, filled out, and dated when the requester fills out the form. The dashboards are nice so you can customize how you want to view your projects, and you can also monitor your team's projects to make sure everything is moving along, and easily step in and request help. Another pro is the collaborator user role, so coworkers not in our department can track, comment, and answer questions within tasks without seeing the other projects, and all of their communication is attached to the project and on record for everyone, including compliance, and not just trapped in one person's email. Cons Set up is daunting. Although we paid for someone to help us set up the process, we quickly realized that their orientation instructions weren't suited for our situation at all, so it took a few weeks for us to get everything into place. And I don't think our situation was particularly unusual, we're an in-house marketing department that needed to accept tickets. While Wrike is really good about constantly releasing updates, there are some common sense things that have yet to be ironed out, for example, someone requesting a project can set a due date in the past. If you or your company is looking for project management coupled with CRM and other business end functionalities, Wrike itself may not be the ideal solution. Pros While working with a team that eventually outgrew email and another product we were using, the team decided to give Wrike a try. Overall, Wrike is great for managing project planning and scoping. While I primarily used it for task management, it made my collaboration with the company a lot easier since the company was able to gauge accurate and more realistic timelines so that the team wasn't overburdened or given unrealistic or unmanageable deadlines. Aside from task management and creating effective project pipelines and timelines, Wrike has the ability to create custom folders so that projects and clients stay organized from the get go and project managers can get an overview of a project's progress in a very short amount of time. Cons This application offers a lot of features, almost too many in the project management realm, so I recommend that any team or organization that adopts Wrike into their workflow sign up for training.
